I stopped by the restaurant, nestled right at the dunes of Bethany Beach, and found it to be a great tourist spot – perfect for the beach getaway.

The pizza itself was amazing. It had just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The crust was thin and perfectly cooked. The vegetarian options are great too, so everyone’s happy! And with all the food made in-house, you can trust that you’re getting something good.

The only downside I can think of is that they don’t offer delivery, but maybe that’s because their pizza is truly best enjoyed fresh out of the oven! Overall, Pomodoro Pizzeria is definitely one of the best places for pizza in Bethany Beach.

#2 Al Casapulla’s Subs & Steaks

#3 Mancini’s Brick Oven Pizzeria and Restaurant

My first impression of the restaurant was that it had an intimate atmosphere with a cozy decor that made you feel like you were in an old-fashioned Italian pizzeria. And I’m pleased to say that the food lived up to the setting!

The menu had a decent variety, including vegetarian options, and even a kid’s menu — although I certainly wasn’t disappointed by my ultimate choice of one of the house’s signature brick-oven pizzas. Oh man, it was just too good! The crust was perfectly crisp but still chewy, while the toppings were flavorful but not overpowering. It truly felt like a slice of Italy here in Bethany Beach.

What really grabbed me as well is that they actually have hard liquor on offer alongside their beers and wines — something which almost every other pizzeria I’ve visited lacked. Throw in some insanely good desserts, and this place totally deserves its tourist-trail status!

The only downside for me at Mancini’s Brick Oven Pizzeria and Restaurant is that there isn’t any delivery service. But if you’re willing to make the journey out there, believe me when I say it’s worth it for some of the best pizza you’re ever likely to eat!

From the moment I stepped in to Pie, I knew this was going to be an amazing experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and inviting with a homespun charm that reminded me of family gatherings back home.

I opted for the house special “Grand Slam” pizza which turned out to be a fantastic choice! The crust was perfectly cooked, soft but crispy and the toppings were well-seasoned and flavorful. It definitely lived up to my expectations!

What really stood out to me was the service at Pie. Everyone from the servers to the chefs went above and beyond in terms of hospitality and friendliness. All my questions were answered promptly and courteously – it really made me feel at home.
