In all my travels around the world, nothing beats a good pizza pie. I’ve tried plenty of pizza in plenty of places, so when I heard about Boulder’s pizza scene, I knew I had to come check it out for myself.

To make sure I got the best of the best, I went to twelve different pizza places around Boulder and tested them all! Now, after much research (and eating!) over countless slices of cheesy goodness, I am ready to share my findings.

My first bite of the delectable Fringe pizza transported me to a new realm of flavor. I could taste the freshness and love that went into every single ingredient. From the perfect crust to the savory cheeses and classic ingredients, everything came together in perfect harmony like a well-orchestrated symphony!

The atmosphere at Fringe was also top notch. The décor has an industrial yet hip vibe and their selection of craft beers is impressive! There’s something for everyone here and it’s the perfect spot for drinks after work or a quick bite with friends.

The staff is also amazing. They were friendly, engaging and willing to give recommendations on what type of pizza to order – which turned out to be spot on! All in all, this place was truly an experience like no other. If you haven’t been, then you are really missing out on one of the best places for pizza in Boulder CO!

The crust is thin and the toppings are always cooked to perfection. Whether you’re a meat-lover or vegetarian, New Yorkese has something to satisfy your appetite. For example, their signature ‘Big Apple’ pizza has an incredible sweet/savory combination of pepperoni, prosciutto, parmesan and honey – it’ll leave your taste buds singing!

The downside? They don’t offer delivery. You’ll have to make a trip down there if you want to experience their amazing food. But they do provide the perfect atmosphere for savoring every bite!

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, New Yorkese also offers delicious desserts that will finish off your meal just right. I highly recommend the cheesecake – it’s simply divine!

From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed. The inside has a welcoming vibe and the staff is always friendly. Their menu is absolutely massive and they have something for everyone – from classic pepperoni to wild concoctions like the “Crazy Pig,” which comes with bacon, ham, pork sausage, and BBQ sauce.

The quality of their ingredients is top-notch. The crust is freshly made each day and they use only premium cheeses and meats on their pies. Every bite packs a flavor punch that feels lovingly crafted instead of slapped together.

I’ve been back several times since my first visit, always looking forward to a new pizza adventure. Whether it be the classic Italiana or something more adventurous like the Sicily with banana peppers, jalapenos, olives, pineapple chunks and smoky chipotle sauce – you won’t be disappointed when you try Pizza Colore’s pies!

The smell of the hand-tossed, wood-fired pizza hit me before I even opened the door. The artisanal dough and Italian tomatoes were cooked to perfection, with a bevy of other toppings available for those looking for additional flavor.

I opted for a classic Margherita pizza and it blew my mind! The sauce was perfectly balanced and the cheese melted in my mouth with every bite. Each slice had a pleasant balance of crunchy crunch and soft chewiness.

The staff at Pizza 3.14 is incredibly friendly, making sure that everyone feels welcome and taken care of. They are always willing to provide suggestions or custom create pizzas off-menu to suit your tastes. Overall, they really go out of their way to make sure you have an unforgettable experience.

The atmosphere of this place was the perfect combination of laid-back and inviting. You can tell the staff really cared about their craft and providing an excellent experience.

I decided to try their signature pepperoni pizza, and I’m glad I did! The crust was crispy and chewy in all the right places, with just enough delicious grease. The topping combination was fantastic; the pepperoni had a nice smoky flavor, and it went great with the tangy sauce and gooey mozzarella cheese.

I must say, I’m impressed with Audrey Jane’s. Not only is their pizza top-notch, but they also have some pretty cool décor—from classic arcade games to vintage posters on the walls. It really feels like a “pizza garage,” as they call it!

The pizza is not only delicious, but the toppings are varied and unique. All the pizzas come with an unbeatable crust that really sets them apart from the competition.

What really put Pizzeria Locale over the top for me was their selection of beer and hard liquor. It really adds a nice touch to this amazing pizza joint, allowing you to pair some great drinks with your food. Plus, it’s definitely a great place for tourists looking to try some authentic Colorado cuisine!

On top of it all, Pizzeria Locale even offers vegetarian options and dessert! This place has it all, folks.

I would love to give this restaurant five stars, but unfortunately they don’t offer delivery so you have to dine in or carry out your order. That being said, I still highly recommend a visit here if you’re looking for the best pizza in Boulder CO!

The atmosphere here was great – the restaurant had a rustic, inviting feel that made me feel like I was getting a classic, Italian pizza experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and made sure my order was perfect before it went out.

When the pizza arrived, I couldn’t help but be impressed. The dough was perfectly crisp on the outside while still maintaining a soft texture on the inside. The fresh toppings blended well with the sauces to create a truly flavorful experience that was something special. Plus, they don’t skimp on portions – there’s no hunger left after eating their signature pies!

In conclusion, Under The Sun Pub & Pizza is definitely one of my favorite places for pizza in Boulder CO – if you’re ever in the area and looking for some fantastic slices, this is where you should go!

Their pizza is just so good that I hardly noticed how many vegetarian options they had. Not to mention the hard liquor they offer (yum!).

The only downside is they don’t deliver. But, if you want an excuse to try out their insanely good desserts, this might be a blessing in disguise. Who needs more pizza?

Overall, Basta receives top marks from this traveling food critic—and that’s saying something! Try it out soon, and make sure to save room for dessert.

The pizza here is absolutely delicious, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The crust is perfectly crisp, the cheese melted in just the right way, and the toppings were always fresh and flavorful. Plus, they offer adult beverages (including hard liquor!), so you can add a little something extra to your dinner.

As for the other items on their menu, Proto’s Pizza | Gunbarrel also has plenty of options for vegetarians, so everyone at the table can find something tasty to eat. There’s also something for the younger crowd; their kid’s menu includes tons of fun choices. And if you still have room after devouring some delicious pizza, there are always some great dessert options as well.

The only downside that I could find with Proto’s Pizza | Gunbarrel? They don’t offer delivery! That said, it’s worth hopping in your car to pick up some of this fantastic food — or even better – dining in so you can experience the full atmosphere. Trust me when I say that you won’t regret it!

It’s not often you come across a pizza joint that has vegetarian options, and Seb’s LLC certainly met the challenge. The crust was cooked to perfection, the toppings were varied and delicious, and the sauce was just right – it really hit the spot.

The atmosphere at Seb’s LLC was also great – it was buzzing with people enjoying their food. Plus, there were plenty of drinks and sides on offer, which made for a wonderfully complete meal.

Unfortunately, Seb’s LLC is still lacking one key service – delivery. While I understand that they want everyone to experience their restaurant firsthand, it would be great if they could provide delivery so even more people can enjoy the best pizza in Boulder CO!

The atmosphere was definitely cozy, and cemented my opinion that this would be a great place to come for lunch or dinner. When I went, the staff were very friendly and seemed pleasantly surprised to meet a traveling food critic such as myself!

As for the pizza itself, it was out of this world. The cheese was gooey, the crust perfectly cooked, and the topping selection varied enough that I could find something new every time I visited. It’s all about presentation at Cosmo’s Pizza – they put some real care into making sure your pizza looks as good as it tastes.

I’d absolutely recommend Cosmo’s Pizza to anyone looking for great pizza in Boulder CO. Whether you’re just looking for a quick lunch, or an elegant dinner with friends and family, Cosmo’s has you covered! The only downside is that every once in awhile they run out of their popular toppings – so make sure to get there early if you want a specific one.
