I thought I’d already tried all the amazing pizzas of the world – but it turns out I had only tried the tip of the pizza iceberg! To fill in some of those missing slices, I came to Bowling Green KY. I’ve sampled 12 different pizza places here, and want to share my findings with you.

#1 Godfather’s Pizza

This restaurant has been serving consistently delicious pizzas since they opened their doors in 1976. Godfather’s Pizza uses only the freshest ingredients to give their customers a true old-fashioned dining experience.

The first pizza I tried was their classic Godfather, which comes with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms on top of a thick and crunchy crust. The flavors melted together perfectly, with the pepperoni adding just the right amount of heat, and the mushrooms bringing an earthy depth to it all.

For my next pie, I opted for the BBQ Chicken pizza. This one is topped with smoked pulled chicken pieces, BBQ sauce, onions and peppers. I could taste each ingredient distinctively—the smokiness from the chicken combined with the sweet and tangy BBQ sauce really brought this one together.

Lastly, I couldn’t resist trying out their signature item: The Big Daddy. This massive creation boasts two layers of cheese and every single topping they offer! The sheer abundance of flavors made this an amazingly delectable pizza that left me wanting more. At over 24 inches across this monster should easily feed 4-6 people!

Overall I can easily say that Godfather’s Pizza is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! If you’re in Bowling Green KY then don’t miss out on this incredible culinary experience!

#2 Alley Pub & Pizza

The atmosphere here truly makes it a place to remember. It’s got a classic pub feel, with dark wood furniture and a cozy atmosphere. Plus, the staff is always friendly and attentive, which adds to the charm.

The menu has plenty of options for everyone, from classic slices of pepperoni pizza to specialty pies like the Greek Pizza or their Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Pizza. Every pizza was cooked to perfection! The crust was crispy, the toppings varied and delicious, and there was enough sauce to make each bite interesting. The amount of cheese was also spot on – not too much, but just enough for an extra cheesy flavor throughout every slice!

All in all, Alley Pub & Pizza is definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Bowling Green KY. With creative flavors that satisfy all your cravings, friendly service and a warm atmosphere – it’s one restaurant I’ll be sure to visit again soon!

#3 Azzip Pizza

This restaurant has something for everyone, whether you like a classic Margherita or something more adventurous with pineapple and jalapenos. Every pizza is made to order and cooked in a woodfire oven, so the crust is crispy and delicious.

The toppings are all fresh and flavorful, with pepperoni that is just the right amount of spicy, mushrooms that are juicy and sweet, and cheese that melts perfectly. Plus, everything can be ordered at your own pace – you can customize every topping to get your perfect pizza.

Plus, their sides are nothing to scoff at either! The garlic knots are divinely buttery and fluffy while the french fries are perfectly salted.

My friends and I spent a good few hours at Azzip Pizza eating our way through a variety of pizzas (and desserts!) – we had a great time. So if you’re ever in Bowling Green KY looking for some delicious pizza, make sure to visit Azzip Pizza – you won’t regret it!

#4 Mellow Mushroom Bowling Green

I’m impressed by their dedication to quality ingredients and friendly staff. The atmosphere was light, fun, and inviting – perfect for a night out with friends or family. Plus, they serve alcohol (including hard liquor!), which really makes it a great night out.

The menu had diverse options for everyone – those that want something hearty can indulge in one of their delicious pizzas, while kids can enjoy the kid’s menu. Vegetarians will be happy to know that there are vegetarian options available too. And after dinner, you can end your meal on a sweet note with one of their desserts!

Mellow Mushroom Bowling Green is also a great tourist spot. With several flat-screen TVs set up around the restaurant, visitors can watch all the sports action while enjoying some fantastic food.

The only downside to this place is that they don’t deliver – but that’s OK, because the pizza is worth a visit (and besides, it’s always nice to get out of the house every once in awhile). All in all, I highly recommend Mellow Mushroom Bowling Green as some of the best pizza in Bowling Green KY!

#5 Blaze Pizza

The atmosphere was great! It had an energetic vibe, which made the entire experience exciting. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering up recommendations and answering any questions I had with a smile.

The pizza was even better than the atmosphere! The dough was perfectly crisp on the outside, yet still light and fluffy on the inside. The toppings they used were fresh and flavorful, giving each bite that “punch” I love in a good piece of pie.

I ordered the signature Blaze Pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni – it was definitely one of my favorites! They also have over 40 different sauces to choose from to make your pizza truly unique. With so many options, you can actually customize your pizza for every visit.

Besides pizza, Blaze Pizza also serves up delicious salads, desserts and drinks that pair perfectly with their pies. It’s hard to believe these treats come from one little restaurant – but they surely do!

All in all, I would highly recommend Blaze Pizza for anyone looking for the best pizza in Bowling Green KY – after all this food critic knows his pies!

#6 Donatos Pizza

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was entranced by the smell of delicious, fresh ingredients. The friendly and welcoming staff made me feel right at home and encouraged me to try their signature pizzas. After taking their advice, I’m so glad that I did!

The pizza was cooked perfectly with a crispy crust and just the right amount of toppings. The sauce was flavorful and the cheese melted in my mouth like butter. But what really puts Donatos over the top for me—what makes them truly stand out from other pizza places—is their special blend of herbs and spices sprinkled on every slice. It’s that little something extra that completely enhances the flavor profile and elevates this pizza to a whole new level.

I honestly don’t think there is any better pizza in Bowling Green KY than Donatos’! If you’re looking for a unique, flavorful experience, it’s definitely worth checking out (and possibly adding to your regular rotation). Highly recommended!

#7 Pizza Hut

Although their menu is straightforward and does not feature a wide variety of options like some other places I’ve visited, their classic pizzas are consistently delicious. The crust is perfectly baked with a slightly crispy outer edge that pairs well with the tangy tomato sauce, cheese and toppings.

My favorite pizza on their menu is the supreme, which comes loaded with pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms and onions. It’s a great combination of flavors all in one slice!

The atmosphere at Pizza Hut is also spot on; it’s casual enough to come with your family and friends while still walking away feeling like you had a nice evening out. Prices are definitely reasonable, especially when you factor in the quality of ingredients they use.

#8 Marco’s Pizza

As I walked in the door, I could smell the heavenly aroma of freshly baked pizza. It was a warm and inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating to accommodate even the biggest pizza parties.

I ordered their signature pizza, and it was love at first bite. The cheese melted in my mouth and the sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. The crust was exactly how I like it, not too thick and not too thin.

The staff at Marco’s Pizza went above and beyond to make sure my experience was excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and always willing to answer any questions I had about their menu. Plus, they offer take-out and delivery for those who don’t want to leave their cozy homes!

It’s no wonder Marco’s Pizza is known as one of the best pizzas in Bowling Green KY! If you’re looking for an amazing pizza experience that won’t break the bank, look no further than Marco’s Pizza!

#9 Donatos Pizza

I have had the pleasure of sampling some of their signature dishes and I must say, they are out of this world! The crust is lightly charred giving it a fantastic crunch while remaining delicate and subtle.

The topping choices are remarkable – from classic pepperoni to something more daring like their ‘pizza-supreme’ which features a blend of tomato sauce, mushrooms, onions and sautéed red peppers. Yum!

The service is top notch as well – the staff always take time to explain the difference between all the options available on their menu and make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal.

Overall, I would highly recommend Donatos Pizza if you’re looking for one of the best pizza experiences in Bowling Green KY.

#10 Mister B’s Pizza & Wings

The ingredients tasted so fresh and the service was top-notch. Every time I visited, the pizza was cooked to perfection and the wings were just right.

I think my favorite thing about Mister B’s is the atmosphere. The restaurant is decorated in a very quirky way and you feel like you’re in a different world when you walk through its doors. Not to mention that their outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying your food on warm days.

To sum it up, I highly recommend Mister B’s Pizza & Wings for anyone who loves good pizza and great company! We have truly found Bowling Green’s best pizza joint!

#11 Godfather’s Pizza

The pizza dough is well-prepared and the toppings are generous and flavorful. The pepperoni is especially noteworthy for its perfect blend of spice, saltiness, and umami-richness. The Italian sausage is also quite good – not too greasy and with a great herbaceous flavor.

Besides the pizza itself, the atmosphere at Godfather’s Pizza is lively and welcoming. There’s always a host of interesting conversation between staff and customers alike – it makes for an interesting experience overall.

I’ve yet to find another pizza place in Bowling Green KY that can top Godfather’s Pizza on both the quality of their pizzas and the lively atmosphere they provide! Trust me – you won’t be disappointed if you visit Godfather’s Pizza in Bowling Green KY!

#12 Chuck E. Cheese

When I pulled up, I knew this place had something special. The bright neon lights and the cheerful sound of children laughing gave me an immediate feeling of warmth and welcome.

The menu was quite extensive, offering a wide variety of pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, and other snacks. After a few deep breaths to take it all in, I decided to go with the classic pepperoni pizza.

While I was waiting for my order to arrive, I was able to take in the atmosphere of the restaurant. With laughter and music playing throughout, there was a great sense of family fun here – just what you would expect from a Chuck E. Cheese establishment!

When my pizza arrived, the first thing that struck me was its aroma – pure cheese heaven! The tangy tomato sauce combined perfectly with the spiciness of the pepperoni and herbs to create an unforgettable flavor. The crust was totally on point as well: not too crunchy but firm enough so that it could hold up against all that delicious topping goodness!

In short: Chuck E. Cheese is definitely one of the best places for pizza in Bowling Green KY. Highly recommended!
