#1 Russo’s Pizza Shop
My first experience was the classic Margherita. It was cooked to perfection! The crust had a nice light crunch and the sweet tomato sauce was generous but not overwhelming. The best part – by far – were the chunks of fresh mozzarella cheese that were melted to cheesy perfection on top.
I’m also quite partial to Russo’s signature deep-dish pizza. It’s an absolute monster! I love how chewy and flavorful the crust is, and all that sauce and cheese make it unbelievably delicious. All those toppings just explode with flavor in your mouth!
I couldn’t forget about their pepperoni pizzas – they’re just as good as the rest of their offerings! The pepperoncini added a nice kick of spice, while the pepperoni was juicy and crunchy like it should be.
Overall, if you’re looking for some truly great pizza in Bridgewater NJ, Russo’s Pizza Shop should be at the top of your list. I haven’t found better anywhere else in this area (or sometimes even abroad!). Highly recommended!

#2 Joe’s Pizza
I’ll admit that at first, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I stepped into Joe’s Pizza. The small space was filled with the aroma of baking pizza dough, and there was a cozy atmosphere that drew me in. To my pleasant surprise, the pizza at Joe’s was absolutely delicious.
The crust was cooked perfectly – not too thick or thin – and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The sauce had just the right amount of kick, and it complemented the cheese and other toppings perfectly. And let me tell you, they have every topping imaginable! From classic pepperoni to exotic combinations like pineapple and jalapeno peppers; they have it all.
The best part about Joe’s Pizza is the price: it won’t break your bank to enjoy a fantastic meal there. Overall, Joe’s Pizza is definitely one of the best pizza places in Bridgewater NJ! If you’re looking for a place to grab some amazing pizza without breaking the bank, give Joe’s Pizza a try – you won’t regret it!
#3 Carlo’s Pizza & Pasta

- Offers dessert
My experience at Carlo’s was super memorable. From the moment I walked in until the last slice of pizza, I was smiling from ear-to-ear. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and didn’t feel rushed at all.
The menu is definitely what one would expect from an Italian restaurant – plenty of delicious pizza options, from classic to gourmet. My favorite item on the menu was Carlo’s Special with tomatoes, black olives, green peppers and mushrooms – perfection!
Now onto the pies themselves- they were flat out amazing! The crust was cooked to perfection; crunchy on the outside but still soft on the inside. As for their sauce, it had that perfect balance between sweet and savory as well as a nice kick of garlic. Lastly, their cheese was top notch – no skimping here!
Overall, Carlo’s Pizza & Pasta is a definite must if you’re ever craving some truly delicious pizza in Bridgewater NJ. They’ve certainly earned my stamp of approval!
#4 Stan’s Chitch’s Cafe
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- No delivery
I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant recently, and I have to say the overall experience was a delight. Not only did they have an amazing selection of pizza, but they also served alcohol! Even better, they had hard liquor! A rarity among pizza places these days.
As far as the food goes, I sampled several pizzas during my visit, and each one was delicious. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy without being too doughy or crunchy. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, making each bite decadent. My favorite part may have been the sauce though – it added such a savory layer that I savored every last bit of it.
The only downside to Stan’s Chitch’s Cafe is that they don’t offer delivery service. So if you’re looking for an authentic pizza experience in Bridgewater NJ, you’ll need to take a drive over there yourself – but trust me when I say it’s totally worth it!

The pizza was simply amazing! They have this unique system where you can customize your own pizza. You get to choose from an array of fresh toppings like pepperoni, spinach, mushrooms and more. I created an amazing combination of cheesy goodness that made my taste buds dance happily.

The sauce was a masterpiece; tangy, savory, sweet…it had it all! Every bite exploded with flavor in my mouth.

#7 Vinnie’s Pizza & Pasta
- Has a kid’s menu
- Offers dessert
- Nice tourist spot
- Has some vegetarian options
My first bite was a revelation! The crust was the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy, with just enough charring around the edges. The sauce had a bold flavor that brought out the natural sweetness of the tomatoes. The cheese was exemplary – melty, creamy, and definitely not too greasy.
The toppings selection at Vinnie’s is also amazing. They have all my favorites like mushrooms, onions, olives, etc., but they also offer some creative combinations like bacon & garlic or pesto chicken. I got to try one of their specialty pies — a pesto chicken pizza — and it did not disappoint! It had just enough pesto to make it flavorful without overpowering the other ingredients.
Overall, if you’re looking for the best pizza in Bridgewater NJ (or anywhere else!), then look no further than Vinnie’s Pizza & Pasta! My taste buds have been thoroughly satisfied on my quest for great pizza… now it’s your turn!
#8 Dominick’s Pizza Shoppe LLC
The crust was the perfect combination of chewy and crunchy. I ordered a large Margherita pizza, which was just the right size for my taste. The sauce was flavorful and had a slight kick to it that made my mouth water. And the cheese was gooey and delicious — just like I love it!
I also had their garlic knots, which were so good they almost stole the show from the pizza! They were light and fluffy on the inside and golden brown and crispy on the outside with a perfect amount of garlic flavor.

#11 Chimney Rock Inn
- Has some vegetarian options
- Has a kid’s menu
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- Great place to watch sports
- Nice tourist spot
- Has insanely good dessert
- No delivery
I have to admit, the atmosphere was half the experience. From the warm and inviting staff, to the cozy booths nestled around a crackling wood-burning fire, it felt like home. The kind of atmosphere that made you want to order another drink or two.
Speaking of drinks, this place really knows how to pour them! Whether you’re looking for a light beer or something hardier– like whiskey– they have you covered. Plus, they’ve got a great kids menu so everyone can enjoy the meal!
One thing that stood out was their selection of vegetarian options. Not only did they have several amazing pizzas that catered specifically to vegetarians, but they also had other delicious meat-free items on their menu too. For those looking for something a bit heartier than pizza, I’d also suggest trying some of their other options like pasta dishes and sandwiches.
But what really sealed the deal for me was their dessert. Oh man! Insanely good! And if sweet treats aren’t your thing (weirdo), then there’s always their amazing brownies and cookies. Seriously yummy stuff!
The only downside I could find was no delivery service– although I suppose that shouldn’t be a surprise in a small tourist town like Bridgewater NJ. But hey, just look at it as an excuse to get out and explore the area while your waited for your pizza to arrive fresh and hot!
Overall, Chimney Rock Inn knocked it out of the park with their pizza, atmosphere, booze selection and desserts — making it one of my top spots in Bridgewaet NJ for when I’m craving some great pizza!

When I first stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm welcome from Alfonso himself. He truly made me feel like family and made sure to give me the grand tour of his restaurant. Immediately, my taste buds were tantalized by the delicious aroma of pizza cooking in Alfonso’s kitchen.
The food was just as good as it smelled. The crust was thin and crispy on the outside while managing to remain soft and chewy on the inside.
