After sampling slices and pies from 12 different places in the area, I can confidently say that Buckhead has some of the best pizza around. And don’t worry; my review isn’t all seriousness and criticism – I’m happy to report that there’s plenty of humor and lightheartedness to be found, too!

#1 Varasano’s Pizzeria – Buckhead

Their pizzas boast a classic design with an unexpected twist. For example, their signature “Varasano’s Pie” is a delectable combination of sesame seed crust, vodka sauce and mozzarella cheese. It also comes topped with pletzel which adds a unique flavor and texture making it stand out from the classic pizza.

The atmosphere at Varasano’s Pizzeria – Buckhead is energetic yet relaxed and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Plus, the food is reasonably priced for how amazing it tastes.

The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the pizza….well, let me just tell you that my taste buds were jumping for joy.

The pizza at Pricci is simply amazing. It’s cooked to perfection, with a combination of flavors that make it truly unique. The crust is crispy and crunchy, with just the right amount of cheese, sauce and toppings. I especially liked the pepperoni pizza – it was delicious!

The first thing that grabbed me when I stepped in the door of Fellini’s Pizza was the aroma – it smelled like a classic Italian pizzeria and made my mouth water! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, which was an added bonus.

I decided to go with their signature dish, the “Eternal Bliss” pizza. When it finally arrived, I could see that all of the ingredients were fresh, top-notch ingredients. The sauce had just the right amount of tanginess and the cheese was perfectly melted. The crust was thin yet crispy – it didn’t get soggy from all the toppings like some other pizzas I’ve tried. It also had great flavor – rich and savory but not too overpowering for my taste buds.

Now, as a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur, I appreciate options for my vegetarian friends. And let me tell you, Nancy’s didn’t disappoint. They had a whole section dedicated to mouthwatering veggie pizzas that even made me, a meat lover, reconsider my life choices.
