It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that I’ve been to (almost) every corner of the world in search of great pizza. Most recently, I took a trip out to this beach town on the Jersey Shore to try out some of their top spots.

I’m sure you’ve got questions: which pizzerias made the cut? How many were reviewed? What did I think of them? Well, I’m here to answer your pizza-related inquiries: 12 different places in Cape May NJ were reviewed, and let’s just say it was quite an entertaining experience.

#1 Wave Chasers Pizzeria

I’m often asked what makes great pizza, and I always reply with the same answer: the perfect combination of great ingredients and the right technique. Wave Chasers Pizzeria hit all the marks! Their crust was perfectly thin and crispy, just how I like it; their sauce was fresh and full of flavor; and their toppings were plentiful and healthy.

The atmosphere at Wave Chasers Pizzeria is what really brings it all together though. The decor is modern with a hint of coastal charm, which creates an inviting atmosphere that pairs perfectly with your meal. And not to mention that their staff are friendly and attentive- as soon as you walk in they’re ready to serve you a delicious slice of pizza!

This place is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for the best pizza in Cape May NJ- you won’t be disappointed!

#2 Jake’s Pizza Company

Let’s start with the atmosphere. As soon as you enter this little pizzeria, you can’t help but feel welcome! The staff is friendly and always happy to answer any questions you have about what kind of pizza is on the menu. Plus, the decor is just perfect; from the vintage black-and-white photos on the walls to the exposed brick in the corner. It’s definitely one of those places that will make you feel right at home.

Now for the pizza itself: it’s out of this world! The crust is light and fluffy, with just enough crunch to make every bite a pleasure. And there’s no skimping on toppings either; each pizza is loaded up with fresh ingredients like mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, and jalapeños – all cooked together in their special wood-burning oven.

Forget about frozen pizzas or chain restaurants serving mystery meat on cardboard crusts; Jake’s Pizza Company serves the best pizza in Cape May NJ! I highly recommend a visit if you’re ever in town.

#3 Lucky Bones Back Water Grille

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant in a small corner of Cape May, NJ, and let me tell you – it was an experience I won’t soon forget. The atmosphere was incredibly inviting, with an eclectic selection of decor blended into a wonderfully cozy atmosphere.

The pizza was hands down the best I’ve had in a long time. The crust was cooked to perfection and the toppings were out-of-this-world delicious. Whether it’s pepperoni, mushroom or even just plain cheese pizza, Lucky Bones Back Water Grille is sure to satisfy any pizza lover’s craving.

But that’s not all – I also tried their wings which were some of the juiciest I have come across so far! They were drenched in flavor and cooked to perfection.

To top it off, the service was top notch! From friendly staff to quality food done just right – Lucky Bones Back Water Grille has definitely earned my seal of approval (and rave reviews) as one of the best pizza restaurants around!

#4 C-View Inn

I had the pleasure of dining at C-View Inn recently, and I was thoroughly impressed. First of all, it’s located in a beautiful tourist spot, with a great view of the ocean! It was a terrific place to watch sports – they had several big TVs showing games throughout the restaurant.

The pizza itself was wonderful – it had just the right amount of cheese and sauce, with a perfectly crispy crust. The toppings were also really flavorful, definitely not your standard frozen variety! What’s even better is that they also serve alcohol (including hard liquor) if you’re looking for something to pair with your pizza. Plus, they have a kid’s menu and offer dessert options as well!

The only downside to C-View Inn is that there is no delivery available – you’ll have to dine in or take it to go. But trust me when I say that this place is well worth the trip! If you’re looking for some truly amazing pizza in Cape May NJ, then look no further than C-View Inn!

#5 Roman`s Pizza House

I stopped in recently and my mouth was watering at the sight of all the delicious pizzas coming out of the oven. I got to work sampling it, and quickly realized why Roman`s Pizza House is so popular. Every bite was as good as the last – loaded with flavor, fresh ingredients, and a perfect crust.

The atmosphere was also great – friendly staff, plenty of seating, and a family-friendly vibe. I can see why people keep coming back!

In conclusion, if you’re ever in Cape May NJ looking for some of the best pizza around, skip the packed chains and head to Roman`s Pizza House. You won’t be disappointed!

#6 Vincenzo’s Little Italy

The atmosphere was great. There were romantic red booths with plenty of room to spread out and the smell of dough, garlic, and cheese lingering in the air. It felt like a true Italian eatery.

The service was excellent too—Vincenzo himself stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed! I knew right away that I was in for a real treat when it came to their pizza.

And boy, was it delicious! The crust was perfectly crispy and the sauce flavorful without being overwhelming. The balance between vegetables and cheese toppings left something for everyone to enjoy.

Overall, I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in the area because Vincenzo’s Little Italy has some of the best pizza in Cape May NJ! Highly recommended!

#7 Mario’s Pizza And Italian Eatery

I was immediately impressed with the quality and taste of the pizza. The dough was perfectly cooked, giving it a nice crispiness that I simply couldn’t find anywhere else. I also loved how much cheese and other toppings were included on each slice – no skimping here!

The atmosphere inside Mario’s Pizza And Italian Eatery is unique and inviting. The waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating, providing us with great service despite our large group. Plus, the decor was classic Italian-style, evoking a feeling of nostalgia from my world travels.

Overall, I can definitely say that Mario’s Pizza And Italian Eatery is one of the best pizzerias in Cape May NJ. If you’re looking for a delicious pizza without breaking the bank, I highly recommend stopping by!

#8 Erma Deli & Pizzeria

The place itself is charming and inviting, especially for those of us looking for a delicious slice of pizza. As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with the tempting aromas of bubbling cheese, freshly made dough, and herbs from their homemade tomato sauces.

I’ve tried countless different kinds of pizza here and each one was unique and amazing. Whether I’m in the mood for a classic cheese or something more adventurous like the “Festival Pie” with zucchini, feta & arugula, Erma’s doesn’t disappoint! The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside yet still light and fluffy on the inside. And the toppings are always fresh and flavorful.

The staff at Erma Deli & Pizzeria have also been incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visits. They know their menu inside out so they can point me to exactly what I’m looking for when I’m feeling indecisive.

#9 Pizza in Cape May – Pizza Heaven

When I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted with the most heavenly aroma of melted cheese, fresh herbs and cooked dough. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, eager to answer any questions I had about the menu.

The pizzas here are quite extraordinary – made with only the freshest ingredients, each one is packed with a unique flavor that will have you coming back for more. From classic pepperoni to custom creations such as pulled pork pizza with gouda cheese and caramelized onions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

I especially liked their signature dish: a decadent deep-dish pizza stuffed with roasted vegetables and mushrooms, then smothered in three types of cheese. It was simply divine!

In addition to great food, Pizza in Cape May – Pizza Heaven also has a fun atmosphere; from the colorful décor to the lively music playing in the background. It’s definitely not your typical pizza joint!

Overall, my experience at Pizza in Cape May – Pizza Heaven was unforgettable and tasty. If you’re looking for top notch pizza that is truly out of this world – this place should be at the top of your list!

#10 Brother’s Pizza II Cape May

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza my first time ordering from Brother’s Pizza II. I ordered the classic Margherita pie and it was cooked to absolute perfection! The crust was thin and crisp on the bottom, with just the right amount of char for flavor. The sauce was robust, flavorful, and delicious – not too sweet but still rich enough to provide that perfect balance of flavors. Topping it off were big slices of fresh mozzarella cheese and garlic-infused olive oil with herbs that gave an extra kick to each bite.

The service provided by Brother’s Pizza II was outstanding as well. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive – even when it came to some unusual requests for pizzas with unique topping combinations. And I have to say their specials are definitely worth trying out – I had a chance to sample their ‘pizza’ burger, which has a meat patty in between two delicious pizza doughs that sandwich melted cheese and flavorful sauce – irresistible!

Overall, if you’re looking for some great Italian-inspired pizza in Cape May NJ, then look no further than Brother’s Pizza II! Their pies are cooked to perfection every time, their staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they offer some really tasty specials that you definitely don’t want to miss out on. #11 Tony’s Pizzeria & Restaurant

I have to start by saying, this place is cozy! It’s like a little Italian oasis in the middle of the Jersey Shore. The decor inside is warm and inviting; the red and white checkered tablecloth made me feel right at home.

But let’s get down to business: what about the pizza? In a word: delicious! The crust was perfectly cooked, with that great balance of crispy edges and fluffy center. And whoever is making their sauces deserves an award – it was so flavorful and well-balanced. Each slice was loaded with toppings but they were balanced just right.

Their salads are also a hit. The tomatoes were ripe and juicy, the lettuce fresh and crisp, and the dressing had just enough tangy flavor to tie everything together.

The prices at Tony’s Pizzeria & Restaurant are reasonable compared to other places in cape may nj, too. You can get an individual size pizza or slices for lunch or dinner without breaking your wallet. They offer delivery service too! What more could you ask for when it comes to getting fantastic Italian food served up quickly?

#12 Carini Pizza & Italian Restaurant

The first thing that jumped out at me was how fresh the ingredients were. The aroma of their hand-tossed dough combined with the zesty smell of their tomato sauce was truly something special. I think my mouth may have actually started to water!

When my pizza arrived, I was immediately delighted by its beauty. Its perfectly golden crust and bubbling cheese were both a sight and smell to behold! Taking the first bite was like experiencing pizza nirvana that I’m still dreaming about days later.

The flavor combination of Carini’s homemade sauce, mozzarella cheese and other unique toppings set this pizza apart from all the others. This is truly the definition of quality when it comes to ingredients and flavor.

Carini Pizza & Italian Restaurant officially gets my highest rating overall – for providing an amazing experience, a delicious pizza, and being one of the best pizzerias in Cape May NJ!
