The atmosphere is lively, and it’s also a great spot for tourists who want to experience the local culture. And when I’m done stuffing my face with pizza, I can indulge in some insanely good desserts.

The service is top notch and they even serve alcohol should you want an extra kick. There are plenty of vegetarian options for us non-meat eaters as well, so everyone can enjoy themselves!

My only complaint would be that they don’t offer delivery, but that’s really nitpicking because the food is worth it.

The menu had plenty of great options to choose from, and all of them looked incredibly appetizing. But at the end of the day, I decided on a classic pepperoni pizza — it was love at first bite! The crust was thin and crisp, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It seemed as though Tarantini had put a great deal of thought into making this pizza, and it really showed!

I also want to acknowledge the fantastic service that I received while dining at Tarantini Italian Restaurant. My server was friendly and attentive throughout my meal — they were quick to refill drinks, clear plates, answer questions, and generally make sure that everything went smoothly.

Overall, Tarantini Italian Restaurant is an incredible place for great pizza and excellent hospitality. If you’re ever in Chapel Hill and are looking for some of the best pizza around, this is definitely the spot to go!

#7 Capp’s Pizzeria & Trattoria

I was not disappointed. The pizza had a perfect crust to cheese ratio and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I also appreciate that they offer some vegetarian options, allowing everyone to enjoy a delicious meal.

On top of that, Capp’s has the added bonus of serving alcohol. This makes it a great spot for casual get-togethers or dinners where you just want to kick back and relax with your favorite brew pairing perfectly with their famous pizzas!

Unfortunately, they don’t offer delivery, but I guess that’s a small sacrifice considering how amazing their pies are. Plus they have desserts like indulgent Tiramisu and chocolate cake if you still haven’t got your fill!

Trust me, you won’t be disappointed when you visit Capp’s Pizzeria & Trattoria! It’s definitely the best pizza in Chapel Hill – trust an experienced critic on this one.

#8 Brixx Wood Fired Pizza + Craft Bar

The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, with a cozy dining area and an impressive craft bar. The menu had plenty of options to choose from, and they also allowed custom toppings.

The pizzas were amazing! The flavor was incredibly complex, but perfectly balanced with sharpness and sweetness. The crust was thin, but possessed a perfect amount of crunchiness that held up the toppings very well.

I had the pleasure of trying out some of their sides too, which were nicely seasoned and cooked to perfection. My favorite was their delicious garlic Parmesan truffle fries; I could have eaten them all day!

Overall, Brixx Wood Fired Pizza + Craft Bar serves some of the best pizza in Chapel Hill. I would highly recommend it for those looking for a high quality pizza experience!

As soon as I stepped inside, the overwhelmingly delicious smell of pizza wafted through the air and took my taste buds right to Italy. I was immediately drawn to the freshness of the ingredients – their tomatoes were still on the vine, their cheese freshly grated, and their dough just-made! The waitstaff were friendly, helpful and even offered me a sample before I made my decision. Plus there was plenty of seating in both the dining room and patio area for larger parties.

But let’s get down to business: The pizza is what we came here for, afterall! Alfredo’s truly knocked it out of the park. The crust was perfectly crispy yet still pillowy soft, with just the right amount of sauce and melted cheese on top. And with all those toppings-onion, bell peppers, olives-to choose from, you’ll definitely want to come back for seconds!

Between the atmosphere at Alfredo’s Pizza Villa and their amazing pizzas (that are almost too delicious!), this charming place should be your first pick when you’re craving pizza in Chapel Hill. They have proven themselves time and time again to serve up some of the best pizza around.

#10 Pop’s Pizzeria

The atmosphere at Pop’s is just perfect. There’s a chill jazz tune playing in the background, and everyone looks very relaxed. Plus, the tables are perfect for big groups as well as small ones. You can even get a romantic table overlooking the street if you’re feeling extra special!

But what really makes this place stand out is the food. The pizza here is delicious! Every slice is perfectly cooked, with the perfect balance of crusty outside and soft inside. The sauce has just enough spice to wake up your taste buds without overpowering them. And all toppings are fresh and flavorful – from vegetables to meats. Everything complements each other perfectly, making for some of the best pizza I’ve ever tasted!

The crust is thin and crisp, yet still soft and chewy. The sauce is perfectly balanced and flavorful, not too sweet or too salty. And the cheese – oh the cheese! It’s melty, gooey perfection that’s sure to satisfy any pizza lover.

I’d heard good things about Domino’s, but nothing prepared me for the deliciousness of their pizza! The crust was so light and airy it almost melted in your mouth. The sauce was sweet and had a nice kick to it that held up against the tangy cheese and wonderfully-crafted toppings like pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions.

Service at Domino’s was great, too. They went out of their way to make sure I was well taken care of and got exactly what I wanted. I think they even gave me a few extra slices for free!
