I may have tasted pizza from many corners of the world, but recently I was determined to find out what makes Charleston SC pizzas different. After a rigorous search and eating 12 pizzas in a few days, I’m ready to report back with my findings.

I visited on a Friday night and was met with a raucous crowd of fans that couldn’t wait get their hands on some delicious, cheesy slices. Despite the crowd, they had plenty of space and I was quickly seated.
The service was friendly and attentive – the chef even came out to talk to me about what makes their pizza so special. He explained that all their dough is made fresh daily and they use premium ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. He also informed me that they now serve hard liquor and wine – which I’ll definitely be coming back for!
But what really sets Baker’s Bar apart is their food selection: in addition to the classic Italian fare, they also have some vegetarian options (a rarity for this type of restaurant) as well as a kid’s menu for those families who want have a low-key evening with the little ones. And if you still have room after your meal, there are several desserts to top off your experience.
The only downside I experienced on my visit was that there’s no delivery option; however, this can easily be overlooked given all the other advantages at Baker’s Bar.

The atmosphere at Park Pizza Co is lovely and the staff is warm and friendly. It feels like a cozy, welcoming neighborhood pizzeria – the kind of place you could easily spend an entire evening in!
The pizza here is top-notch. The crusts are just perfect – crispy on the bottom, soft and chewy on the inside. Every bite is filled with flavor thanks to their special blend of herbs, spices, garlic, and freshly grated cheese. I’ve tried every topping they offer and my favorite so far has been their sweet-and-spicy sausage topped with caramelized onions and peppers – it’s heavenly!
On top of that, Park Pizza Co offers a great selection of craft beers to choose from. The perfect accompaniment for a slice (or two) of pizza.

The pizza is cooked perfectly and is so flavorful. The toppings are the freshest ingredients and the melted cheese on top perfectly compliments everything.
I love how they have a variety of crusts – thin, stuffed, pan, or even gluten-free! They also offer a selection of vegan pizzas as well. On top of that, every pizza comes with an artisan sauce made from scratch daily!
The service at D’Allesandro’s is excellent as well. The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help you pick out the perfect pizza for your taste buds. Plus, their delivery drivers never take long to show up and they always arrive with smiles on their faces.

The moment I stepped foot in EVO Pizzeria, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was so inviting; it really felt like a tourist spot. But what really made it pop were all the delicious smells coming from the kitchen. All of my senses were on overload!
The menu had something for everyone, including several vegetarian options and even dessert. And they even served alcohol, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer while enjoying your favorite slice. Plus, their portions are very generous – one pie is definitely enough to share among friends.
The only downside to EVO Pizzeria is that there’s no delivery service available – you have to dine-in or take it out yourself. From the moment I stepped in the restaurant, I could tell this was going to be a unique experience. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made everyone feel welcome.
The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. Whether you like traditional styles of pizza or something exotic, they have it all. But don’t let that fool you; the quality of their pizza is top-notch! Every bite was delicious and packed full of flavor.
The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside with just enough charring around the edges for that perfect smoky flavor. The fresh ingredients used were both flavorful and colorful making each bite visually pleasing as well as taste tantalizing!
The highlight of my meal was definitely their signature pie – Prosciutto & Pear pie – which combined sweet, salty and tangy flavors into one pizza masterpiece!

The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere. The wood-fired brick oven and copper pizza pans reminded me of my travels to Naples, Italy, and the family-style seating made for a cozy, inviting setting.
In terms of the pizza itself, it was simply amazing. The thin, crispy crust had just the right amount of char from the wood-fire oven and the toppings were fresh and delicious. I’m especially impressed with their variety; it’s hard to find a place that does both traditional and unique combinations so well.
The service was also top-notch; our waitress was friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our entire meal.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and with its conveniently located spot in the historic district it’s perfect for tourists to check out or for locals to pop in for a relaxing evening.
As for the pies themselves, I can vouch that they are some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. The selection of toppings was extensive, and there were even some vegetarian options that tasted amazing! Plus, what pizza place is complete without dessert? Orlando’s had plenty of ways to satisfy your sweet tooth after your meal.
I had heard rumors that other places around town delivered pizza, but unfortunately Orlando’s isn’t one of them. That was a bit disappointing but everywhere has drawbacks!
All in all, I would highly recommend Orlando’s Brick Oven Pizza to anyone looking for an Italian feast. They offer a wide variety of dishes, an inviting atmosphere and delicious food – what more could you want?
#8 Fam’s Brewing Co. featuring Famulari’s Pizzeria

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant, and was blown away by the delicious array of pizza offerings. From traditional favorites to unique creations like their “Fam’s Signature Pizza,” which comes topped with a generous helping of Italian sausage, fresh basil and rich mozzarella, I could tell that they take their pies seriously.
The atmosphere at Fam’s Brewing Co. was also top-notch. The restaurant’s brick walls and wood-fired oven gave it an authentic Italian vibe, while its friendly staff made sure my dining experience was top-notch.

The atmosphere of the place is remarkable. It captures the essence of an authentic New York pizza restaurant, with classic Italian red-checkered tablecloths and a knowledgeable staff that have been in the business for years.

The atmosphere was quite nice. The decor was modern and trendy without being stuffy — perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. And when it came to the food, I can honestly say that MOD Pizza definitely delivered.
The menu was simple and straightforward, with several classic topping options as well as unique flavors that showcased their flair. I opted for the tried and true pepperoni pizza (you know, just to make sure the basics were covered!). It did not disappoint. The dough was perfectly cooked, with a light crispness on the outside and a soft texture inside. The tomato sauce had great flavor and complemented the pepperoni nicely.
