#1 Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza
- Offers dessert
- Nice tourist spot
- Has some vegetarian options
- Serves alcohol
The atmosphere of the restaurant is simply amazing. It has a warm, inviting feeling to it, so you know that when you step inside, you’re in for a treat.
As for the food itself – wow! The crust on the pizza was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of crunchiness that I look for in a pizza crust. Then there’s the sauce – it was rich and flavorful and went along so nicely with all of their delicious toppings. My favorite topping combination is their signature three-cheese blend – mozzarella, provolone and parmesan – with roasted red peppers, which was out-of-this-world good!
One thing I love about Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza is their dedication to quality. They use only fresh ingredients and take great pride in making sure every pizza they serve is truly extraordinary.
I highly recommend Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Coconut Grove! Trust me; this place won’t disappoint!

#2 Pizza Nostra
- Nice tourist spot
- Serves alcohol
- Offers dessert
The atmosphere in Pizza Nostra is vibrant and inviting, but still casual enough for a quick bite. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the menu is one of the most extensive I’ve seen.
The star of the show at Pizza Nostra, however, has to be the pizza. They offer anything from classic cheese pizzas to more inventive options like their notorious “all of everything” pizza, which features every topping that they carry! The crust was perfectly cooked, with a nice crisp on the outside and just the right chewy texture on the inside. I can definitely see why it’s become such a hit here in Coconut Grove.

#3 Pizzaiola
- Has some vegetarian options
- Nice tourist spot
- Offers dessert
The pizzas are made with the freshest ingredients and cooked to perfection. The crust has just the right amount of crunch and is perfectly crispy. The sauce is flavorful, and the toppings are generous.
The atmosphere at Pizzaiola is unpretentious and inviting. The staff are friendly and attentive, always willing to help you out with anything you need. Plus, it’s great for large groups – I went with my friends and we were immediately seated!
My only complaint about Pizzaiola (and it’s a minor one) was that they didn’t have any music playing in the restaurant, which would have created a more lively atmosphere. But that aside, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in Coconut Grove looking for perfect pizza!
#4 Pauloluigi
- Offers dessert
The restaurant itself is unassuming, but once you step inside you’re instantly transported to Italy. The atmosphere feels like a family-run pizzeria in Naples – it’s cozy and inviting, with red and white checkered tablecloths and old-school Italian posters adorning the walls. And of course, the smell of fresh pizza dough and spices in the air is irresistible!
The staff members are friendly and passionate about their craft. They take time to explain the different ingredients that go into each of their delicious pizzas. They also offer lots of options for those with special dietary needs, meaning everyone can enjoy Pauloluigi’s pizza.
When it comes to taste, Pauloluigi definitely doesn’t disappoint. The crust is cooked perfectly – crispy on the outside but still nice and fluffy on the inside. The toppings are flavorful and generous – anything from classic pepperoni to more gourmet creations like their ‘Truffle Fungi’ pizza (which I highly recommend!).
If you’re looking for great pizza in Coconut Grove (or beyond!), look no further than Pauloluigi!
