#1 Rossanos
- Nice tourist spot
- Serves alcohol
The atmosphere at Rossanos is truly remarkable. The décor brings you back to the old school pizzerias of Italy, and you can almost taste the authenticity in their pizza. Plus, the staff here is really friendly and they know their stuff when it comes to making a great pizza.
What really makes Rossanos stand out though is their signature pizzas; they range from classic Neapolitan styles to some pretty creative pies with interesting toppings like goat cheese and figs. My personal favorite was the Margherita pizza—it had just the right amount of fresh mozzarella and basil for a flavor explosion!
Finally, I must say that their prices are very fair; you get an amazing quality pizza for a relatively inexpensive price. Plus, if you’re in a hurry they’ve got a pickup window where they make your order while you wait! So whether you’re looking for an authentic Italian-style pizza or something more creative, I can definitely recommend Rossanos as one of the best places in Delray Beach FL for pizza.

I couldn’t believe my taste buds when I had a slice of their Windy City Delight – the combination of fresh vegetables, melted cheese and that perfect crust will leave you wanting more. #3 Death By Pizza
The atmosphere was perfect—dark and mysterious with a heavy Goth theme. I was served by an appropriately pale, gothic-looking waiter, who seemed to know exactly how much garlic I like!
The pizza itself was delicious. I had the “Kamikaze,” which is their signature specialty pizza and tasted like a combination of heaven and the fiery pits of hell. It was topped with pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, jalapenos, onions, and mushrooms and cooked to perfection in their wood-fired oven.
The price was also good for the quality of food they delivered—I could hardly believe it! All in all, I highly recommend Death By Pizza to anyone in search of great pizza in Delray Beach FL.
#4 Conte’s Pizza

- Nice tourist spot
At Conte’s, they make pizza from scratch according to traditional Italian recipes. The pies are always made fresh, with top-notch ingredients, and the crust is so delicious it’s like biting into a cloud of doughy goodness! They also offer a variety of other menu items – like calzones, strombolis and Italian entrees – that are all equally delicious.
The service here is always friendly and helpful. The staff seems to genuinely enjoy their work, which is impressive considering how busy they get during lunch and dinner rushes.
But what makes Conte’s stand out above the rest is their commitment to making quality pizza that’s both delicious and original. On my last visit I sampled a ‘Fireworks’ pizza topped with spicy sausage, jalapenos and pepperoni – it was amazing! The first thing I noticed when walking in the door was the wonderful smell of fresh-baked pizza. It almost made me forget that I had come there to review it! But my critical eye (and stomach) were up for the challenge.
The menu offered a variety of choices, from classic Italian toppings to more unique options like prosciutto and arugula or fig and gorgonzola. Not only did they have something to suit everyone, but their specialty pies really stand out. I tried their Bianco Bianco – a white pizza topped with olive oil, crushed garlic, mozzarella, ricotta and Parmesan cheese – and it was simply sensational.

From the first bite, I knew this place was special. The crust was perfectly crisp and light – nothing like those overly-thick, doughy pizzas you get at most places. The sauce had a great balance of tanginess and sweetness and the cheeses were rich and creamy. But the real star of this pizza is the toppings!
The Indian-style topping options are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. They include delicious ingredients such as paneer, tandoori chicken, lentils and more. Every flavor bursts in your mouth and complements each other perfectly – making for a unique pizza experience you won’t find anywhere else.

At first I was skeptical, as the restaurant isn’t overly flashy or fancy, but it doesn’t need to be. The pizza speaks for itself—the Crust is light and crisp, just like a good Italian pizza should be. As a food critic, I’m also quite fussy when it comes to toppings. But have no fear—Sazio Express does not skimp on ingredients! Every topping adds flavor and texture, from the juicy sausage to the savory olives.
I appreciate how much attention goes into each pie. The staff take great care in making sure that every single bite is cooked perfectly; nothing is too charred or soggy. The end result is an exquisite pizza that’s as delicious as it looks!
