While I have tasted pizza in Italy, Chicago and even New York City, my recent visit to Red Phone Booth- Downtown Atlanta left me completely satisfied. The crust was perfectly crisp and the ingredients were fresh; this was clearly evident in the rich flavor of their special “red sauce”.

The staff at Red Phone Booth – Downtown Atlanta were also top notch; friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. They offered plenty of suggestions for options outside traditional pizzas. I’m talking about the delicious combination of barbecue chicken, smoked bacon, red onions and peppers with a creamy ranch dressing—seriously one of the best pies I’ve ever had!

First, I want to mention the atmosphere. It’s a relaxed, casual spot that has an urban vibe to it without being too hipster-y. The staff is friendly and the decor is comfortable and inviting.

I had their classic Margherita Pizza and it was simply out of this world. The cheesy flavor combined with the tangy sauce was a perfect mix that I just could not get enough of.

I also tried their Prosciutto & Arugula Pizza and it too was delicious. The prosciutto added a great salty flavor to the pizza that combined perfectly with the arugula to provide a great balance on the palate.
