From gourmet artisanal pies to traditional slices, it can be hard to know the best place for a pizza fix. That’s why I spent time in Emerald Isle NC to find the absolute best pizza places. I hit up 12 spots and tasted their pizzas with a critical eye – and mouth! It was tough work, but someone had to do it.

Now that I’ve finished my investigation, let me tell you all about the top-notch pizzas that I found in Emerald Isle NC.

#1 Luigi’s Pizza

The atmosphere was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they had a kid’s menu, which is always a nice touch when traveling with children. I also love that they serve alcohol! It’s obvious Luigi’s Pizza strives to be the spot for locals and tourists alike.

The pizza itself was amazing! The crust was crispy yet chewy at the same time, while the sauce was flavorful and the cheese velvety smooth. The toppings were fresh and cooked perfectly—just how I like them.

The only downside is that Luigi’s Pizza doesn’t offer delivery—you’ve got to pick it up or have it delivered through another service like DoorDash or GrubHub. But honestly? That’s a small price to pay for such delicious pizza!

The only downside to NO NAME PIZZA Emerald Isle is that they don’t offer delivery. But that’s a minor complaint compared to how delicious their pizza is!

#3 Lazzara’s Pizza & Subs

As soon as I stepped through the door of Lazzara’s, I felt like I was walking into an Italian pizzeria straight out of Naples. The decor was bright and inviting, with a vintage pizza oven in the corner and old-fashioned Italian photos on the walls.

The menu at Lazzara’s has something for everyone – from classic Margherita to their signature pies loaded with all sorts of savory toppings. And then there’s their selection of subs, paninis, and calzones that are all delicious too!

But what really sets Lazzara’s apart from other places is the freshness and quality of their ingredients. Their dough is made from scratch every day using only the finest flour and other ingredients. And they also use high-quality mozzarella cheese and freshly picked herbs for all of their pizzas. Even the sauces are homemade – it just doesn’t get better than this!

Finally, a visit to Lazzara’s wouldn’t be complete without trying one of their garlic knots or breadsticks. They are definitely some of the best I have ever tasted! All in all, I would highly recommend Lazzara’s Pizza & Subs to anyone looking for great pizza in Emerald Isle NC – it truly is some of the best pizza around!

#4 Frank’s Pizza & Subs

Let’s start with the ambiance: it’s warm and inviting, from the cozy window booth to the classic Italian music playing in the background. It definitely had me feeling like a real pizza connoisseur!

The service here was top-notch. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable on all of their pizzas. I didn’t have to wait long for my order either – this was really appreciated, as I’m always in a hurry!

Now, let’s get to the main event: the pizza! Frank’s Pizza & Subs has a wide range of options, so I decided to go with the Margherita Pizza. It was delicious — the dough was light and fluffy, and it had just enough cheese and tomato sauce. It wasn’t too greasy either, which is always a plus!

To sum up my experience at Frank’s Pizza & Subs: it was amazing! If you’re in Emerald Isle NC looking for some great pizza, I highly recommend giving them a try – you won’t regret it!

On my recent visit, I was amazed by their extensive menu. They had something for everyone – from salads and vegetarian options to heartier dishes like pizza, lasagna, and calzones. Plus, they have a kid’s menu which is always nice when traveling with children.

For the pizza itself, I sampled several different varieties and each one was better than the last. They offer both traditional and gourmet styles with plenty of toppings to choose from so you’re sure to find something you love. The crust was well-cooked and the cheese melted just right – it really hit the spot!

As a bonus, Anchor Drafthouse also serves alcohol and offers dessert! So if you’re in the mood for a cold beer or glass of wine after dinner, or need to satisfy your sweet tooth with some ice cream, there are many options available.

Finally, this is a great place to watch sports – not only because of their huge selection of beers on tap but also because they have big screen TVs located around the restaurant.

The only downside is that Anchor Drafthouse doesn’t offer delivery service – you’ll have to dine-in or take out your order. Nonetheless, Anchor Drafthouse continues to be my favorite spot in Emerald Isle NC when it comes to pizza!

#6 No Name Pizza

The experience of eating at No Name Pizza was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed like family, seated right away, and given a detailed menu with all the delicious offerings.

The pizza itself was amazing! The crust was light and fluffy, but still had a nice crunchy texture to it. The tomato sauce was sweet and savory, while the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It truly felt like each ingredient had been prepared with intention and care.

The atmosphere inside No Name Pizza was very pleasant as well. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, making sure that everyone had a great time dining with them. Not to mention the fact that there’s even an outdoor patio for those wanting to eat al fresco!

Overall, I would highly recommend No Name Pizza to anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Emerald Isle NC! I’m always telling friends and family about my visit there whenever someone mentions looking for good pizza in town!

The crust is perfectly crunchy, the cheese is gooey, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. The menu has a great variety of options so there’s something for everyone. Even better: they offer carryout and delivery so you can enjoy delicious pizza right in the comfort of your own home.

The staff is always friendly and willing to help with any questions or special requests. And the prices are very affordable, making Domino’s Pizza an excellent value.

In terms of taste and quality, I confidently declare that Domino’s Pizza is my top pick for the best pizza in Emerald Isle NC. If you’re looking for delicious pizza at a great price, I’d highly recommend giving this place a try!

When I arrived, I was immediately taken aback by the level of detail that went into their decorating. The walls were painted in bright oranges and reds with a mural depicting a river running through the town. I knew right away that this restaurant would provide an amazing experience!

The menu had plenty of options to choose from and the prices were very reasonable. I ended up going with one of their specialty pizzas – the Riverside Classic. It had everything you could want on top: pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, olives, peppers and a few other goodies.

The pizza was cooked to perfection; the cheese was melted just right and all the toppings had been distributed evenly throughout. The crust was light yet crunchy, allowing for maximum flavor with each bite. Overall, it was one of the best pies I’ve had anywhere in the world!

At Riverside Pizza & Subs, they take pride in their food and it certainly showed in my meal. If you’re ever looking for the best pizza in Emerald Isle NC – look no further than Riverside Pizza & Subs; it’s simply divine!

#9 Circle Pizza and Subs

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this was a special place. The classic Italian decor gave it a cozy, welcoming feel.

The menu is filled with all kinds of delicious options, from specialty pies to classic pepperoni. And let me tell you, every single one of them was cooked to perfection!

The pizza crust was light and crispy; the sauce had just the right amount of tanginess to it; and the cheese? Oh, the cheese! It was melty and gooey in all the right places.

To top it off, the staff were friendly and accommodating. They made sure our order arrived quickly and hot (just how I like it!).

My travels have taught me that great pizza always comes from restaurants that are passionate about what they do. And Circle Pizza and Subs is definitely one of those places! If you’re ever in Emerald Isle NC, make sure to check out this gem for yourself – you won’t be sorry!

#10 Michaelangelo’s Pizza & Subs

The flavors and toppings were a perfect balance of umami, sweetness and savoriness. I had their signature pizza, which was a mix of pepperoni, garlic, mushrooms, green peppers and onions – an absolute delight!

The crust was cooked just right – not too thick or thin – and the cheese was melted to perfection. All-in-all, it was as if I died and went to pizza heaven!

I also tried one of their subs; they use fresh Italian meats and top-notch ingredients. The rolls were soft yet firm enough to hold all the fillings. And let me tell you – the combination of flavors in that sandwich…it was downright delicious!

Speaking of deliciousness, Michaelangelo’s offers a variety of desserts like New York style cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies. Believe me when I say my sweet tooth was tingling!

To sum it up: Michaelangelo’s Pizza & Subs is the best pizza place in Emerald Isle NC with excellent food items that are sure to please your taste buds. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

The first thing that drew me to Papa Johns was the smell. There’s nothing like it- a mix of the sweet sauce, melted cheese, and savory herbs wafting from their ovens. As I stepped inside, I was welcomed by friendly faces and a cozy atmosphere of pizza-lovers enjoying slices with laughter and conversation.

When it came time to order my meal, I decided on a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and garlic crust. After only a few minutes, my pizza came out piping hot with the perfect combination of ingredients. The crust was crunchy yet fluffy at the same time, and the topping selection provided an explosion of flavors in my mouth. I could tell they used only fresh ingredients – definitely not your run-of-the-mill frozen stuff!

#12 Pizza Hut

Their crust is just the right amount of crunchy – not too hard and not too soft. Every bite was savory and delicious! The sauce was perfectly spiced with a unique blend of herbs, making it the perfect accompaniment to their selection of freshly made toppings.

The best part about the experience was the staff. They were warm, welcoming, and genuinely seemed excited about our pizza-eating experience! From the moment we made our order to the moment we paid our bill, they were happy to answer questions and chat about their specialty pies.

I’d have to say that Pizza Hut definitely has some of – if not THE – best pizza in Emerald Isle NC. I can’t wait to come back!
