I recently spent a few days in this wonderful neighborhood to review the twelve best pizza places. And although I’ve sampled some of the best pies from around the world, there’s nothing quite like tasting pizza at its source.

From brick ovens to wood-fires, it’s no surprise that people are fiercely loyal to their favorite places. So, join me on my journey through Encino as I take each establishment for a test drive and rate them on their ultimate pizza experience!

#1 Spumoni Restaurant

I was blown away as soon as I walked in! The atmosphere is electric and the staff is friendly. The pizzas are baked in an authentic wood fired oven, which adds a great smokiness to the pies.

The toppings were fresh and delicious. They had all sorts of creative combinations, such as Hawaiian with mango salsa, pesto feta with arugala and roasted peppers, and four cheese with garlic butter drizzle. I could tell that they truly went out of their way to make each pizza unique and flavorful.

The crusts were perfectly thin and crunchy, yet still had a little chewiness to them. It was definitely one of the best crusts I’ve ever tasted!

The service was also top-notch – they were attentive to our needs throughout the whole meal without being too intrusive.

All in all, Spumoni Restaurant has earned its title as the best pizza in Encino! Their commitment to quality ingredients and outstanding service really pays off for their customers. Highly recommend for a great night out or for delivery!

#3 Mulberry Street Pizzeria

I arrived at Mulberry Street Pizzeria with great expectations, and I wasn’t disappointed. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The cheese was creamy and flavorful, the crust was perfectly light and crispy, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was warm and inviting, with a classic Italian vibe that transported me right back to Italy. The wait staff was courteous and professional, taking time to explain each of their menu items in detail when I asked them questions.

I had their signature dish – the famous “Mulberry Street Pizza,” which is a combination of five different types of cheese, truffle oil and roasted cherry tomatoes – served on a classic thin-crust base. It was truly extraordinary! My mouth is still watering just thinking about it!

The first thing I noticed when walking in the door was the warm, inviting atmosphere. The decor was rustic, with beautiful wood-fired ovens that filled the restaurant with the aroma of delicious pizza.

The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their pizzas, which made ordering easy. The variety of options was great too – you could pick different toppings to make your own custom creation, or choose from their pre-made specialties.

Now onto the pizza itself! It’s hard to describe in words how good it tastes, but I’ll try my best. The crust had a perfect crispiness and flavor, while the cheese was flavorful and melted perfectly on top of it. And all those fresh ingredients – wow! Nothing beats a handmade pizza like this one.

In summary, Gio Cucina Napoletana is undoubtedly serving up some of the best pizza in Encino! If you’re ever looking for an amazing meal in town, you have to give them a try.

#5 Greco’s New York Pizzeria

The first thing that stands out about Greco’s is their generous portion sizes, which left me and my group of friends feeling more than satisfied. The dough was perfectly thin, crisp on the outside and soft in the middle – just how I like it!

The flavor combinations are also top-notch: from classic pepperoni to unique pies topped with buffalo chicken and blue cheese. My personal favorite was Greco’s NY Special, a white pizza with ricotta, garlic, spinach and mozzarella cheese – an absolute delight for my taste buds!

Greco’s pizzas also stay true to the New York style with their tasty sauce. It had just the right balance of sweet and acidic flavors without being overwhelming.

It needs to be said that Greco’s services were equally impressive; everyone was friendly, helpful and fast. They even gave us discounts on our orders because we had such a big group. What can I say? It speaks volumes about a place when they puts customers first like that.

The pizzas themselves are masterpieces! All of their signature pies are cooked to perfection in their wood-fired ovens, ensuring that each slice is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The thin crusts have just the right amount of crunch and flavor, making them a great option for chic parties or family gatherings. Plus, they serve both classic flavors like margherita and specialty pies like spicy Shrimp Fra Diavolo.

But what really convinces me that Numero Uno Pizza is the best in Encino is their service. They offer delivery, takeout, and even catering services – so no matter what your pizza needs may be, they’ve got you covered!

I had the chance to try some of their famous pies and I must say, they lived up to the hype. The crust was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The sauce was hearty and flavorful, full of rich Italian herbs and spices. And their selection of toppings were fresh and flavorful—I got to sample some pepperoni and sausage that tasted like it was made in heaven!

As an added bonus, their servers were friendly, knowledgeable about their menu items, and very accommodating. They did a great job of making us feel comfortable while we tried out different pizzas.

All in all I would highly recommend Mulberry Street Pizzeria for anyone looking for the best pizza in Encino!

The restaurant has a warm and inviting vibe with an open kitchen and cozy seating. The staff was cheerful and helpful, and really made me feel like I had found the perfect spot to enjoy some delicious pizza.

I got to sample their classic Margherita pizza, which was cooked perfectly in an authentic wood-burning oven for a delicious, crispy crust. The fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, parmesan cheese, garlic, olive oil and basil created a flavor combination that could only be described as out of this world!

And their other pizzas are just as amazing. From their spicy pepperoni to the Hawaiian-inspired Pachanga with ham, pineapple and red onions; they have something for everyone.

#9 Guido’s Pizza & Pasta

The first thing that struck me when I walked in the door was how passionate and knowledgeable the staff were about pizza. They took the time to explain their ingredients and process, which made me feel good about my order.

When the pizza arrived, it was clear that each component had been carefully considered– from the perfect blend of cheese to the slightly sweet tomato sauce, everything worked together perfectly. The crust was light and fluffy, yet still held up well to all the toppings. I asked for a simple pepperoni pie, but the addition of their homemade sausage added something special that I will never forget.

#10 Street Cafe By Aroma

My experience here was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this place takes their pizza seriously. The decor was charming, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The first thing I had to try was their signature dish – the Sicilian-style pizza. It was cooked to perfection with a crisp crust, light tomato sauce and plenty of cheese. I savored every bite!

I also tried some other pies on their menu, like a white-sauce pesto pizza and a spicy red-sauce pizza with Italian sausage and fresh jalapeños. All were delicious and made me want to come back for more!

Finally, Street Cafe By Aroma really stands out because of its amazing atmosphere. Everyone is so welcoming and it’s such an enjoyable place to be. Whether you’re sitting indoors or outdoors in the patio area, this cafe is sure to make you feel right at home.

Overall, I can’t sing enough praises about Street Cafe By Aroma – they make some of the best pizza in Encino! Don’t take my word for it though – go see for yourself!

#11 California Pizza Kitchen at Encino

The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic. The staff are friendly and attentive and the decor is vibrant and inviting.

As for the pizza itself, I was blown away by its flavor and texture. The crust has just the right crispness to it, while also being soft enough to enjoy every bite. The range of toppings were inventive and delicious – from unique combinations like BBQ chicken to classic favorites like pepperoni and cheese.

What really made this experience stand out from other pizza places was their wide selection of specialty beverages. From craft beers to a variety of California wines, there’s something for everyone in this restaurant.

Overall, California Pizza Kitchen at Encino is one of my top recommendations when looking for the best pizza in Encino. I’m sure you won’t regret your visit here!

#12 green cottage encino

This pizza joint isn’t all that fancy, but the atmosphere is inviting and the pizza is divine. From the moment I stepped in, I could smell the deliciousness wafting through the air. It smells like a hint of garlic and oregano coming from the kitchen and that’s always a good sign.

The pizza was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunchiness from being fired up in a wood oven. The sauce was so flavorful and each slice had loads of cheese melted on top. From the Spicy Salami to their Four Cheese Deluxe to even their Thai Chicken Pizza, each individual pie was an experience in its own right. Every time I took a bite I was pleasantly surprised at how great it tasted.

To top it off, they offer great deals so you don’t have to break your wallet while enjoying some good eats! What more can you ask for?
