I’ve sampled 12 of the pizza places in town, and I’m here to report back my findings. My journey has taken me from the south end of town all the way to the north. Honestly, I’ll be satisfied eating a slice no matter which direction I’m headed!

#1 Francesco’s Pizzeria & Restaurant

The atmosphere is great, with lively Italian music playing in the background and the smells of delicious pizza wafting through the air. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, too!
The pizza itself is out of this world. They have a wide selection of classic pizzas or you can build your own from the dozens of toppings available. The crust is always cooked to perfection – crispy and crunchy on the outside yet soft and chewy on the inside. And boy, do they know how to portion out the toppings! Every bite is filled with flavor that bursts into your mouth. Delicious!
In short, Francesco’s Pizzeria & Restaurant definitely deserves its reputation as having some of the best pizza in Enfield CT. If you’re ever in town, make sure to drop by this place for a slice (or two – trust me, you won’t regret it!).

The atmosphere was great – perfect for both lively sports-watching and relaxed dining. The highlight of Lulu’s Restaurant has to be their alcoholic beverages! Not only do they serve beer, but also hard liquor. To top it off, their desserts are insanely good.
For the kids, there is a kid’s menu that should satisfy any picky eater. Also, for those who prefer vegetarian options, there are some great options available as well.
My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that they don’t have delivery options. But let’s face it – pizza tastes best when enjoyed in the restaurant!
Overall, Lulu’s Restaurant is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for the best pizza experience in Enfield CT – plus, it also happens to be a great tourist spot.
#3 Sofia’s Restaurant & Pizzeria

The interior of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with a menu full of delicious options. My favorite pizza was the pepperoni pie – it had a thin, crunchy crust that was perfectly cooked and the pepperoni was deliciously flavorful. The tomato sauce was super fresh, and the cheese just melted in my mouth.
Overall, I give Sofia’s Restaurant & Pizzeria top marks for their pizza selection. Not only did they have some of the best pizza I’ve ever tasted, but they also offer a variety of other Italian dishes like calzones, pasta, and more.
I can honestly say that Sofia’s Restaurant & Pizzeria has some of the best pizza in Enfield CT – so if you’re looking for an amazing Italian dining experience then look no further!
#4 Grapevine Pizzeria & Restaurant

I visited this pizza place on a warm, sunny day – the perfect opportunity to enjoy some pizza al fresco in their cozy garden. I had the pleasure of trying out a few different pies including their signature margarita and prosciutto. The pizzas were cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of cheese and topping.
It’s no secret that pizza is always better with a cold beverage, so it was great to see Grapevine Pizzeria & Restaurant also serve alcohol (not just beer, but hard liquor too!). There was even a kid’s menu for the younger generation looking to have a slice or two. If you’re vegan or vegetarian-friendly, there are also plenty of options for you as well!
The only downside of Grapevine Pizzeria & Restaurant is that they don’t offer delivery service. Instead, you can either come in and eat in or take your order away. But it’s definitely worth it when all things considered: good crusts, tasty toppings, alcoholic beverages and dessert available – what more could you ask for?!
All in all, I’m happy to report that Grapevine Pizzeria & Restaurant deserves its title as the best pizza restaurant in Enfield CT!
#5 Somers Pizza and Family Restaurant

The first thing that I noticed when I walked into Somers Pizza and Family Restaurant was the smell of fresh dough and cheese. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was obvious they take tremendous pride in their craft.
I had to wait a few minutes for my pizza order to be prepared, but it was well worth the wait. The crust was thin, crispy, and perfectly charred with a delicious heartiness that comes from using only quality ingredients. Every bite melted in my mouth and left me wanting more. The toppings were plentiful without being overwhelming – just enough to add some extra pizazz without taking away from the amazing flavor of the crust.
Overall, Somers Pizza and Family Restaurant is definitely one of the best pizza places I’ve been to in Enfield CT! Their commitment to quality ingredients along with their focus on hospitality make this restaurant stand out among its competitors. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable pizza experience.
#6 Angelo’s Pizza
The first thing I noticed when I walked in the door was the delicious aroma of garlic and oregano. It smelled like they were cooking something special in there!
The pizza crust was thin and crispy, and cooked to perfection. The cheese was bubbly and flavorful, with just the right amount of spices. The toppings were varied, fresh, and plentiful – sweet bell peppers, juicy tomatoes, mushrooms and more! All of this combined for an out-of-this-world flavor experience.
The only downside to Angelo’s Pizza is that it can get a little crowded during peak hours. But if you go in at off times you can usually get a table without much waiting.
Overall, Angelo’s Pizza is an experience not to be missed! Whether you’re looking for traditional Italian flavors or something a bit different, you can find it here. In my opinion, there’s no better place for pizza in Enfield CT!

#7 Baco’s Pizza

I had a chance to sample the classic cheese pizza and the pepperoni, and both of them were delicious. The crust was extra thin, but still light and fluffy. And each slice was perfectly cooked with just enough cheese and toppings.
The best part of my experience at Baco’s Pizza though was their unique flavor combinations. They offer pizzas topped with a variety of interesting ingredients like wild mushrooms, asparagus, artichoke hearts and smoked mozzarella cheese. I couldn’t resist trying one of their signature pies – the El Jefe – which came with jalapenos, salsa verde, chorizo and cotija cheese. It was incredibly delicious!
The atmosphere at Baco’s Pizza is also worth mentioning. There are several tables outside on the patio and the restaurant itself has an old-school feel to it that I really enjoyed. The service was friendly and attentive, too – a great bonus for this foodie traveler!
Overall, Baco’s Pizza is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Enfield CT. With quality ingredients, creative toppings and a welcoming atmosphere – there’s something here for everyone!
#8 Astro’s Pizza

I visited Astro’s Pizza recently and was amazed by the quality of the pizza. The ingredients were top notch and the crust was cooked just right. I also couldn’t believe how many different types of pizzas they offered – from classic Margarita to more exotic flavors like Hawaiian.
In addition to their fantastic pizza, Astro’s Pizza offers a few extra perks that make it stand out from other pizza places. For one, they serve alcohol! They have a great selection of craft beers and wines which pair perfectly with their delectable pies. Also, they have a kid’s menu which is always helpful when you’re trying to entertain everyone in your party. And lastly, they offer a few dessert options as well – talk about sweetening the deal!
The only downside I found was that they don’t offer delivery services – something that I’m sure would be beneficial to many customers. Other than that, Astro’s Pizza is definitely my go-to spot for some of the best pizza in Enfield CT!
#9 Rinaldi’s Italian Specialties, Enfield CT

The decor and atmosphere is top notch, with classic Italian music playing in the background and the staff always welcoming. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy some of the best pizza around.
The pizza here is something special. From their signature Lago di Como pie which includes Parmesan cheese, basil, tomatoes, and salami to a wide variety of other specialty pies, Rinaldi’s has something for everyone. The crust is cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside – and each slice has just enough sauce to make it flavorful without being overwhelming.
I can confidently say that Rinaldi’s Italian Specialties offers some of the best pizza in Enfield CT. Be sure to check it out next time you’re looking for delicious Italian cuisine!

The atmosphere at Zanto Suffield is festive and inviting. The decor is modern, with an old-school vibe to it. The staff are friendly and helpful, and happy to answer any questions about their pizzas.
The menu at Zanto Suffield offers a wide selection of fresh-made pizzas, from classic favorites like margherita to specialty creations like their famous Buffalo Chicken Pizza. They also have a creative selection of salads, appetizers, and desserts that are worth trying.
The pizza itself is extraordinary. The crust is light and crispy around the edges while remaining soft in the center – exactly how I like my pizza! The toppings are generous without being overwhelming, allowing the flavor of each ingredient to shine through. And all of Zanto Suffield’s pies are cooked in wood-fired ovens for an extra special touch.
Overall, I was extremely impressed with my experience at Zanto Suffield and highly recommend it for anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Enfield CT!
#11 Pizza Palace

The service was friendly and professional – the waitstaff were knowledgeable about their menu options, and were eager to help customize my order. From the moment we walked in, it felt like walking into a cozy family restaurant.
The pizza was incredible! The dough was cooked perfectly – slightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. It was covered in a generous amount of cheese, as well as all of my favorite toppings. The flavors blended together just right, leaving me wanting more!
My friends and I also ordered a side of garlic knots – they were just as tasty! They had an amazing flavor, with bits of garlic and herbs that really complemented the pizza.
If you’re ever in Enfield CT looking for a great pizza joint, Pizza Palace should be your first stop. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and most importantly –-the pizza is delicious!

I love the unique pizza options here. Their Hawaiian Pizza is made with a thick crust and topped with delicious pork, pineapple and mozzarella cheese – what’s not to like? And their White Pizza is an absolute delight. The blend of ricotta, parmesan and garlic on top of a thin crust gives an irresistibly creamy taste!
The staff at Danny’s Pizza is also incredibly friendly. They make you feel right at home when you walk in the door – I could sit and chat with them for hours! And the toppings on their pizzas are always fresh. You can tell these folks know what they’re doing.
Overall, my experience at Danny’s Pizza was outstanding. If you’re looking for the best pizza in Enfield CT, stop by and give it a try! I guarantee you won’t regret it.
