The staff are incredibly friendly as well! Even though I’m sure they get tired from serving all these customers, they still manage to greet everyone warmly with a smile.
But at The Hungry Robot, the best part of all is undoubtedly the pizza. After tasting so many pizzas from different places around the world, nothing compares to this place. It truly lives up to its name as one of Fairbanks’ best pizzerias!

I’m always a fan of take-and-bake pizzas, because it gives me the freedom to prepare the pizza however I want. So when I walked into Papa Murphy’s, I was immediately impressed with their selection of pre-made pizzas. From classic margheritas to unique toppings like salami and pineapple, I couldn’t decide which one to try first!
The crust was perfect – soft and chewy without being soggy. The sauce had just enough flavor without overwhelming the rest of the ingredients. And the cheese! The cheese they use is organic and full of flavor. As a food critic, this is extremely important to me.
I ended up getting a half-and-half pizza – half margherita and half salami pineapple – that tasted even better fresh out of my own oven than it did in the store! My family absolutely loved it and raved about how great it was for days afterward.

To start I had their signature dish – The Deep Fried Stuffed Crust Pizza. It was divine! The crust was perfectly cooked and crunchy while the toppings were flavorful and generous.
Next up was their Thin Crust Pepperoni Pizza. This one really hit the spot. The thin crust had just enough chewiness to make it enjoyable, while the pepperoni added a nice spicy kick!
Finally I tried their BBQ Chicken Pizza with Bacon Jalapenos. Wow! The bacon jalapenos added a great smoky flavor to the already perfectly balanced BBQ sauce and chicken combination.
I could go on about how great House of Fire Pizza -West is all night, but in the end all you need to know is that it’s got some of the best pizza in Fairbanks! Highly recommended if you’re ever in the area!

I especially appreciate how attentive the staff are when it comes to making sure every order is perfect – no matter how complicated. On my visit I ordered a pizza with black olives and banana peppers – an unusual combination that some other places wouldn’t even attempt – and they got it just right!

The restaurant itself looks a bit unassuming from the outside, but step inside and you’re immediately hit with a wonderful aroma of cheesy goodness. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
The menu is full of options, including the regular pizzas, calzones, stromboli, and specialty pies like the Reindeer Pie, with reindeer sausage, green peppers, onions and mozzarella. I opted for the Reindeer Pie since I’m in Alaska and got to try something unique!
The pizza was cooked perfectly – not too chewy or doughy. The ingredients were all top-notch and the flavor was spot-on. The reindeer sausage gave it an extra layer of deliciousness that made it extra special.
Overall, Great Alaska Pizza Company definitely deserves its title as one of the best pizza places in Fairbanks. If you’re ever in town looking for some amazing pizza, this is definitely your place!

I was blown away by their creative selection of specialty pizzas, like the Reindeer Pizza and the Moose Pizza. The flavors were unique and surprising – much better than the boring pepperoni-and-cheese pizzas I’ve had elsewhere.
