I’m always looking to get the inside scoop on where I can find the best of the best when it comes to pizza. Lucky for me, Flagstaff has plenty of pizza places that are both innovative and delicious. After eating my way through 12 of them, I feel confident in saying that I’ve found some real gems!

During my research, I was really impressed with the unique twists some of these places put on classic recipes. If you’re looking for a tasty slice of pizza with a unique spin, then this list is for you!

#1 Pizzicletta

The restaurant has a really great atmosphere – it’s definitely a fun tourist spot, and they also offer alcoholic beverages if that’s your thing. Plus, if you’re a vegetarian, you’ll be happy to know there are some delicious options available.

The pizza itself is something special. The crust is always cooked perfectly so it’s just crispy enough, the toppings are fresh and flavorful and the overall flavor of the pizza is out of this world. They even have dessert pizzas to choose from!

My only minor complaint is that they don’t offer delivery service, but it’s worth the trip to go get your favorite pizza in person. All in all, Pizzicletta deserves its spot at the top as one of the best pizzerias in Flagstaff AZ!

#2 NiMarco’s Pizza Downtown

From the moment I walked in, NiMarco’s Pizza Downtown was filled with the aroma of freshly made pizza. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was super relaxing.

The menu offers a variety of options from traditional to specialty pizzas – each one better than the last. My favorite was their signature Neapolitan style pizza which was bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly. The crust had a nice crispness to it, and some of their unique toppings like caramelized onions added an extra touch to it.

To top off my experience, I had some delicious Italian-style ice cream for dessert. The flavors were amazing and really sealed in that perfect Italian pizza dining experience!

I was skeptical when I first heard about this place, as I’m from New Jersey and know how good our pizza can be. But my doubts were unfounded: the pizza here is top-notch. From the freshly made dough to the perfectly cooked toppings, everything tasted great!

The service at New Jersey Pizza Co is also fantastic. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience.

I was particularly impressed by their generous portions, as I felt like I got my money’s worth with every slice. The crust was also cooked to perfection – it had a nice crunchy texture on the outside and a light, fluffy interior.

I was skeptical at first, since the restaurant is located in a strip mall and not in some fancy Italian villa, but I’m glad I gave it a chance. The pizza began with an amazing crust, thin and crispy on the edges yet pleasantly chewy in the center. Toppings were generous but balanced nicely with the crust. The flavors of the sauce, meats and vegetables melded together to create a perfect taste experience.

The presentation was also noteworthy. All pizzas came out looking like works of art! As if that wasn’t enough, the staff was so friendly and accommodating – they even let us design our own pizzas! – that you can’t help but feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door.

Overall, NiMarco’s Pizza West is definitely worth a visit for anyone wanting to experience some of the best pizza in Flagstaff AZ!

#6 Fratelli Pizza Downtown

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, giving me a delicious taste of Italy right here in America.

The chefs at Fratelli Pizza Downtown certainly know how to make a good pizza. The crust was light and airy with just the right amount of crunch and flavor. The ingredients were fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection.

I ordered up the classic margherita pizza which came out looking like a work of art. It smelled like garlic and tomatoes with a hint of basil, making me salivate before taking my first bite!

The margherita pizza tasted as good as it looked! From the very first bite, I could tell that Fratelli Pizza Downtown had put an exceptional amount of care into their craftsmanship. The ingredients blended perfectly together without being too salty or sweet.

First off, the atmosphere is awesome. They have a cozy vibe to the place and everyone from the staff to fellow diners seemed nice and welcoming. Plus, there’s an old-school Italian charm that really adds to the experience.

The pizzas themselves were out of this world! The crust was super thin and crispy – just how I like it – while all the toppings had great flavor profiles that worked perfectly together to make each bite as amazing as the one before it. They also have a few unique options, including pesto pizza with tomatoes, olives, artichokes and mozzarella. Yum!

And then there’s the price. Affordable prices for such delicious pizza? Yes please! In fact, you can’t go wrong with any of their pizzas no matter what your budget is.

In short, Fratelli Pizza might just be my new favorite pizza joint in Flagstaff AZ. With its great atmosphere and even better food, I’m sure I’ll be back soon for more of their delicious creations!

I’ve tried countless different varieties of pizza from across the globe, but I have to say that NiMarco’s Pizza West outdoes them all. The crust is just the right thickness and size to create a delicious crunch with every bite, while still allowing plenty of room for their amazing array of toppings.

The variety of ingredients they use is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. From classic pepperoni and sausage to more unique blends such as smoked gouda and roasted garlic – it’s hard to think of a topping they don’t have! They also offer creative specialty pizzas that are sure to please any palate.

To top it off, the staff at NiMarco’s Pizza West was beyond helpful in helping me select the perfect pizza for my taste buds. The customer service was outstanding – and always with a smile!

All in all, I can confidently say that NiMarco’s Pizza West has some of the best pizza I’ve ever tasted. If you’re in Flagstaff AZ looking for an incredible pizza experience, look no further than NiMarco’s Pizza West – you won’t regret it!

I had the pleasure of visiting NiMarco’s on a recent trip to Flagstaff, and I was truly impressed with everything they had to offer. The space is cozy, but not too cramped. But what really sets NiMarco’s apart is the quality of their ingredients: the crust was light and buttery; the cheese was gooey and flavorful; and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. All-in-all, an outstanding pizza experience!

I’ve never had a pizza quite like Oregano’s. From the moment I took my first bite, I was blown away. The dough was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of crispness, and really gave the slice some great texture. The atmosphere at Oregano’s was also top-notch. There was a cozy, casual vibe that made me feel right at home. In addition, they had plenty of different flavor combinations to choose from which allowed me to experiment and try something new each time I stopped by!

First off, the place looks great. The exposed brick walls and cozy atmosphere were just begging for me to stay and enjoy a slice of pizza. And when I did, it didn’t disappoint! The crust was perfectly thin and crisp, yet light and airy. The flavor combinations were inventive, like the spicy chorizo with jalapenos, or the creamy goat cheese & artichokes. It’s clear that they put a lot of thought into their menu selection.

The service was also top notch. Friendly staff who really seemed to care about providing an enjoyable experience was an added bonus to the delicious pizza. Plus, they had several tasty appetizers and drinks that I happily enjoyed while waiting for my pizza!

I tried their signature Pie, which had mozzarella, ricotta, parmesan, fresh basil and garlic. It was to die for! The dough was crispy and had the perfect amount of cheese. The basil and garlic gave it a unique flavor that was delicious.

The ingredients were top-notch and the service was friendly. I could tell that the staff wanted to make sure that my experience was enjoyable and memorable.

My favorite part about Your Pie Pizza is their creative topping combinations. They have everything from eggs to sun-dried tomatoes and even artichoke hearts! I also had some of their antipasto salad, which was full of fresh vegetables.

In conclusion, Your Pie Pizza is one of the best pizza places I’ve ever visited and I’m sure it will be a favorite for many years to come!

Best Deep Dish Pizza – The Pizza Patio

Now, I’m not saying I’ve eaten pizza on every corner of this planet, but close enough. And let me tell you, when it comes to deep dish, these guys know what they’re doing!

Walking into The Pizza Patio, I was immediately struck by the charming, cozy atmosphere. The walls were adorned with quirky pizza-themed artwork, and the tables were adorned with checkered tablecloths that screamed classic pizzeria. I felt like I had stepped into pizza heaven, or at least a cheesy version of it.

Now, let’s get down to the important stuff: the pizza. Oh boy, it was a masterpiece! The deep dish crust was so thick and buttery that it could double as a flotation device, in case you fall into a river of marinara sauce. And speaking of sauce, theirs had the perfect balance of tangy tomatoes and secret herbs. It was like a symphony of flavors in my mouth!

But wait, there’s more! The toppings were piled on so generously that my taste buds threw a party. From the savory sausage that made me want to do a little happy dance to the fresh veggies that practically screamed, eat your greens, Edward! every bite was a delightful adventure.

Best Wood Fired Pizza – Fat Olives

And boy, did they deliver (well, not literally because they don’t do delivery)! As a food critic who has had his fair share of pizza, I was blown away by the deliciousness that I experienced at Fat Olives.

First of all, they serve alcohol! And not just your regular beer and wine options. They have hard liquor! So not only did I get to indulge in some mouthwatering pizza, but I also had a fancy cocktail to wash it all down. Talk about a win-win situation!

Now, as a vegetarian, I was delighted to see that Fat Olives offers some veggie options. It’s always a bummer when I go to a restaurant and my only option is a plain cheese pizza. But at Fat Olives, they have a variety of toppings that cater to all dietary preferences. It’s like they read my mind!

And let’s not even get started on their dessert. Insanely good doesn’t even begin to cover it. I had their tiramisu, and it was like a slice of heaven on a plate. Creamy, indulgent, and utterly satisfying. I may or may not have shed a tear of joy after taking my first bite.

Now, being a tourist spot, Fat Olives definitely had a bustling atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can strike up a conversation with someone from halfway across the world while devouring your slice of pizza. It’s like a mini United Nations of pizza lovers.
