The atmosphere of Happy’s Pizza is as inviting as the pizza itself. As soon as I walked in, I knew this was going to be a memorable experience! The walls were adorned with photos from famous customers and celebrities, an homage to Happy’s Pizza elite clientele.
The pizza at Happy’s is truly out-of-this-world delicious. The crust was perfectly crisp, yet still light and fluffy – it felt like it had been crafted just for me! The sauce was tangy and flavorful, but not too overwhelming, making for a great combination of flavors. The cheese was rich and oozy melted perfection – no skimping here!

#3 Bob’s Original Pizza
My first impression was one of surprise: Bob’s isn’t your average pizza joint. It has a modern, casual atmosphere with wood accents, heavy colorful foliage and comfortable outdoor seating — quite the find in Flint!
Of course, the real test was how their pizza stacks up to the competition. As soon as I bit into my slice of cheese pizza, I knew right away that Bob’s Original Pizza is something special. The crust was perfectly crunchy yet chewy, and the tomato sauce had an amazing depth of flavor — garlic, oregano and basil were all discernible notes. On top of it all (literally!) there was an ample amount of cheese that melted into each bite.

Having tried all the famous pizza places, I can honestly say that Mancino’s was one of the most satisfying experiences. From their generous toppings to their crispy and flavorful crusts, it’s hard to beat the deliciousness of their pies.
The atmosphere alone deserves a mention — it’s cozy and inviting with a vibrant buzz of chatter coming from the eaters around me. I felt like I truly belonged in this family-friendly restaurant.
Service-wise, I must admit that it was above average — friendly staff, quick delivery times and an overall willingness to serve whatever your heart desires.
Speaking of what your heart desires, let’s talk about Mancino’s signature pizza: The Flint Grinder! This is my absolute favorite; the tender crust packed full of garlic Dijon mustard, hot Italian sausage and wood fired pepperoni made for an unforgettable flavor explosion in my mouth! As for other menu offerings, they also had tasty salads, chicken wings and subs that rounded out my meal nicely.
It seems impossible to find better pizza than what Mancino’s has on offer. With incredible tasting food at great prices and top-notch service to match, this is possibly the best pizza in Flint — bar none.
#5 Bongiorno’s Pizza
I had the chance to visit this restaurant and sample some of their delicious fare. The crust was thin and crispy, just as I like it. And the cheese! So much cheese! It was freshly-grated mozzarella, not a processed cheese blend. The sauce was flavorful with a hint of oregano and basil.
The toppings were superb – pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers – all fresh and cooked just right.
The service was equally excellent, with friendly staff that took great care in making sure my order was precisely what I wanted. For dessert, they served up an amazing Nutella pizza that was simply out of this world!
