My mission in this article is to uncover the absolute best pizza place in town. I’ve tried a dozen places so far, and am ready to share all my favorite finds.

I’m going in with an open mind, but also bring with me a discerning palette acquired from tasting pizzas around the world! My review will be lighthearted and humorous, as I’m always looking for any excuse to crack a few jokes while eating pizza.

#1 Uncle Rico’s Pizza Fort Myers

From the moment I stepped foot into Uncle Rico’s it was apparent that they take great care in crafting a delicious meal – from the fresh ingredients in their signature pizzas to the selection of classic Italian sodas, everything has been thought out with great attention to detail.

The pizza itself was out of this world – the crust was crispy and flavorful, and topped with generous amounts of cheese and sauce that melted together perfectly. The toppings were equally as impressive – ranging from your traditional pepperoni to more exotic options such as artichoke hearts and roasted red peppers. My favorite pizza was the Mushroom Lover’s Special; it had a wonderfully earthy flavor that truly elevated the overall taste.

I also have to give a special mention to their garlic knots – they must be crafted by angels! It’s hard to describe how incredible these little morsels were; one bite and you’ll immediately be transported to foodie heaven.

It was love at first bite – the perfect balance of tanginess from the tomato sauce, combined with the creamy cheese, and topped with just the right amount of pepperoni made it a meal to remember.

When I visited, I was happy to see that they serve alcohol – so while you wait for your pie to bake you can enjoy a nice cold beer or glass of wine. They also have an extensive kid’s menu which is great for families with young ones! Plus, afterwards, you can satisfy your sweet tooth with one of their delicious desserts.

The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery service but trust me when I say it’s worth the trip! Pizzeria Di Biscardi offers up some of the best pizza in Fort Myers FL so be sure to add them to your must-try list.

#3 Downtown House of Pizza

From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was going to be something special. The cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home and the waitstaff were incredibly friendly. Plus, they had a pizzaoven with an open flame – which is always a treat for the eyes!

When my pizza arrived, I was immediately overwhelmed by how delicious it looked. The steaming hot cheese looked like it was about to burst off my plate! And boy, did it taste as good as it looked. And of course, the toppings were cooked to perfection – not overly done but still super tasty.

I have never seen such a wide variety of delicious pizzas in one place. From their signature “McGregor Supreme” pizza, loaded with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers – to their “Taco Pizza”, topped with taco beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese – there is something for everyone! Plus the dough is always fresh and tasty.

The atmosphere of McGregor Pizza & Deli is great too. The music playing in the background sets the stage for a great meal. On top of that, the staff is friendly and welcoming – definitely worth mentioning!

All in all, I highly recommend checking out McGregor Pizza & Deli if you’re ever in Fort Myers FL looking for some good pizza. You won’t be disappointed!

The atmosphere of the restaurant alone makes it worth a visit. Between the stylish decor and the hip music playing, I instantly felt like I was in a trendy pizza joint, no matter what part of the world I was in.

The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere with a warm, friendly staff. I was immediately impressed by the selection of pizza flavors. From Hawaiian to Margarita, there’s something for everyone here.

My personal favorite was the pepperoni and black olive pizza – it was definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! The crust was perfectly thin but not too crispy, and the ingredients were fresh, flavorful and plentiful.

The first time I set foot in Grandma Penny’s Pizza I was surprised by how quaint the restaurant was. It reminded me of an old Italian restaurant from my childhood, complete with checkered tablecloths and classic Italian music playing in the background.

The menu is filled with delicious options that are sure to please even the pickiest of eaters. From their classic pepperoni pizza, to their unique Buffalo Chicken Pie, there is something for everyone!

I was delighted when I stepped into Bellacino’s and saw the bustling atmosphere full of happy customers. The order counter was front and center for all to see, where generous associates were more than willing to help me with any questions or customizations.
