So, what are the best slices in town? I have sampled all 12 of the pizza places in Fort Walton, and can now provide you with an amusing yet informed review of each.

My goal? To find out which pizza establishment is the winner when it comes to authentic Italian-style pies. For my findings, I visited a variety of pizzerias ranging from local dives to high-end spots, so I’m confident that no matter your budget or taste preferences, you’ll find something that will make your mouth water!

#1 Downtown Music Hall

When I first stepped foot in this place, I was immediately struck by the energy. Music blaring and happy people indulging in delicious pizza – what more could you want?

Not to mention, the pizzas here really do stand out. The wide array of toppings and combinations ensure that everyone can find something they will love. Not only are their creation sinfully delicious, they are also incredibly budget-friendly!

Plus, having a bar inside is always a plus because you can get your favorite beverage with your pizza! That being said, it’s too bad there isn’t any delivery service available. But even if you don’t feel like going out, you can still call ahead for take-out orders to enjoy at home.

All in all, Downtown Music Hall is hands down one of the best places to get a delicious slice of pizza in Fort Walton Beach!

#2 Wiley’s New York Style Pizza

The first thing I noticed is the inviting atmosphere of their restaurant. You can instantly tell that Wiley’s takes pride in their pizza! The service was fast and friendly, and they were really helpful in guiding me towards the perfect order.

When it comes to their pizza, there’s no doubt they make some of the best in town. Their New York style crust is perfectly thin and crispy – just like a genuine NY slice should be. The toppings are plentiful and flavorful, too – a mix of classic favorites like pepperoni and olives paired with more unique flavors like artichoke and feta cheese. As for the sauce? Deliciously tangy with just enough sweetness.

I was so impressed with Wiley’s that I ordered a second pie to take home for later. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great pizza in Fort Walton Beach!

#3 Helen Back Pizza

I had the pleasure of visiting this spot recently and was amazed at how delicious the food was. Everything from the menu to the presentation was top notch. The crust had a nice crunch, while inside melted the most tasty cheese ever! I couldn’t believe how huge their slices were either – definitely more than enough to fill up your hungry stomach.

Being a bit of a pizza snob, I wanted to try out as many different toppings as possible. Fortunately, Helen Back Pizza had no shortage of options for me; from classic pepperoni to creative combinations like Hawaiian BBQ chicken, I got to experience it all! On top of that, they also offer some great sides – try the garlic bread sticks for an extra flavor kick.

#4 Clemenza’s at Uptown

I was impressed by the sheer variety of options available, from vegetarian to classic Italian. I also love that they serve booze (including hard liquor!), so it’s great for both adults and kids.

For those considering taking their kiddos along, there’s a kid’s menu. The staff is also really friendly and accommodating towards children.

My favourite part though has to be the dessert at Clemenza’s! They’ve got insanely good cakes and tarts—you gotta try them. Although, I’d recommend going in with a group as some items are too good to share!

The only downside of this place is that they don’t do delivery, which can be inconvenient for busy folks like me. But if you can make the trip over there, trust me—it’ll be worth your while! I think anyone who’s looking for the best pizza in Fort Walton Beach should check out Clemenza’s at Uptown right away!

#5 Rick’s on the Island & Island Pizza

This place is my go-to spot for a quality pizza experience. I’m especially impressed with all their added benefits, like serving alcohol, having a kid’s menu, offering some vegetarian options and even desserts! It’s also a great tourist spot and great for watching sports – bonus!

The only downside? No delivery. But that’s okay because the pizzas are worth the extra effort to pick up. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious – ideal for anyone looking for a great pizza experience.

Overall, Rick’s on the Island & Island Pizza can proudly claim they make some of the best pizza in Fort Walton Beach. I highly recommend it if you’re ever in town!

I must say that I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about Fazoli’s. However, they quickly warmed me up with their friendly service and cozy atmosphere.

From the moment I first stepped inside, I knew I was in for something special. The smell of delicious pizza was wafting through the air and just made me salivate. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which only added to my already-positive first impression.

I decided to go with the classic pepperoni and mushroom pizza, topped with extra cheese – a combination that is tried and true! When it arrived at my table I was amazed. It looked as if it was crafted by artisan chefs, not machines! The crust was chewy but not too doughy, while the toppings were cooked perfectly and melted together like they were meant to be there. And, most importantly, the flavor was spot on!

To top it all off, all of Hungry Howie’s pizzas come topped with their signature flavoured crusts – garlic, butter or onion – which adds an extra kick for those looking for an even more elevated pizza experience.

#8 Cicis Pizza

I had the pleasure of visiting this local restaurant, and I’m delighted to report that it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting—it felt like I was in Italy instead of Florida! And the pizza… oh man, it was so delicious.

The crust was crispy and golden brown, while the cheese was gooey and flavorful. Every bite made me want more—it’s the kind of pizza you find yourself dreaming about later at night! On top of that, the toppings were all fresh and flavorful with great options like sausage, pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, etc.

I have to say — Cicis Pizza has earned its place as one of the best pizzas in Fort Walton Beach! If you’re looking for an amazing slice of pie (or two or three), then look no further than Cicis Pizza. It won’t disappoint!

#9 Domino’s Pizza

I visited the restaurant for dinner one night and my expectations were exceeded. The staff was super friendly and accommodating — they even offered to box up a slice for me to take home!

The pizza was incredibly tasty. It was freshly made and had a really nice, smoky flavor. The crust was slightly crispy but also chewy, which is exactly what I look for in a good pizza. Plus, the toppings were all high quality and balanced perfectly.

Overall, Domino’s Pizza is definitely on my list of great pizza places. I would highly recommend it if you’re ever in the Fort Walton Beach area looking for some of the best pizza around!

This pizza joint has a great atmosphere, with an energetic and fun vibe. The staff is friendly and always remembered my order without me having to repeat it. I’ve had a few slices of their classic pepperoni pizza now and can’t stop raving about it. It’s cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of crunchy crust and delicious flavors from the fresh cheese and tomatoes.

The toppings are also great, they have every type of topping you could imagine! From pineapple to shrimp, they have it all! I particularly enjoyed their signature “crazy sauce,” which gives the pizza an extra kick of flavor.

I was in town recently, and after much deliberation, I decided to try Papa Johns. I’m so glad that I did! The pizza was absolutely delicious – the crust is just the right amount of crunchy, the toppings fresh and flavorful, and the cheese just melts in your mouth!

Their selection of pizzas is also amazing – whether you’re in the mood for a classic pepperoni or something adventurous like their bacon cheeseburger pizza, they’ve got it all. Plus they have some great sides as well like cheesy breadsticks, garlic parmesan wings, and garlic buttery wedges.

What’s more impressive is that their prices are extremely reasonable – especially considering how good their food tastes.

The first thing I noticed when I walked into Papa Johns was the delicious smell of fresh pizza dough. The pizzaiolo were busy at work, kneading and rolling out dough with their experienced hands.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza, which arrived piping hot. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, and the crust was perfectly crispy. The cheese was gooey and flavorful, and the sauce had a kick that I could just feel in my soul. It definitely exceeded my expectations!

My experience didn’t end there. The staff at Papa Johns were incredibly friendly and welcoming – they even gave me some extra cheese to take home! They also took time to explain the ingredients in each pizza they offer, making sure that I got exactly what I wanted.
