I just had to check out the pizza scene in this small town and see if it could rival my favorite places all over the world. To that end, I visited 12 different pizza places here to find the best Gainesville has to offer. My tongue is ready and my stomach is empty! #1 Peytons Pie Company – Gainesville

I visited Peytons while on a nationwide pizza tour and was blown away by their extensive menu of specialty pizzas. From the classic Margherita to the more adventurous Prosciutto & Arugula, there’s something for everyone here. The pizzas are cooked to perfection with a crunchy crust, gooey mozzarella cheese and delicious toppings.

The atmosphere at Peytons is just as inviting as its pizza! The cozy dining room is perfect for a relaxing weeknight dinner, or for gathering with friends over some of the best pizza in Gainesville. There’s also an outdoor patio that’s perfect for enjoying those Georgia summer nights.

Sadly, they don’t offer delivery – but it’s more than worth it to make a trip to Peytons! In my opinion, this is definitely one of the best places to get your pizza fix in Gainesville GA.

#2 Mellow Mushroom Gainesville

The atmosphere is great, with a nice variety of seating options and TVs for watching sports. Plus you can enjoy your favorite beverage with their selection of beer and hard liquor.

The pizzas are delicious and loaded with fresh ingredients, plus there’s something for everyone as they offer vegetarian options as well. The kid’s menu is also great and makes it easy to keep the whole family happy.

But the star of the show is definitely their dessert – it’s out of this world! I’m talking about a variety of flavors that could make anyone go wild (in a good way).

The only thing I found lacking was delivery; however, this spot is worth the trip! Mellow Mushroom Gainesville is definitely worth checking out – you won’t be disappointed!

#3 Mario’s Pizza, Wings & Catering

The pizza here is simply divine. The thin crust is perfectly crunchy, yet still melts in your mouth with every bite. The toppings are always fresh and flavorful, and the combination of the sauce and cheese is out of this world. It’s obvious that Mario himself takes great pride in the food he serves and it shows.

In addition to the amazing pizza, there are also a wide variety of wings available that are absolutely delicious. From mild to spicy, there’s something for everyone’s taste buds!

But Mario’s greatest asset is his catering services. Not only does he provide delicious food, but also sets up an elegant dining experience with beautiful decor and tantalizing aromas from the delicious pizzas cooking in his ovens.

I highly recommend Mario’s Pizza, Wings & Catering for anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Gainesville GA. With its great atmosphere, delectable foods, and competitive prices, it’s no wonder why so many people choose Mario’s time after time!

I’m not exaggerating either; their pizzas have been carefully crafted to perfection, with just the right balance of fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. The crust is thin and chewy, with a hint of buttery goodness. The sauce is subtly sweet and savory, with a hint of spice that tickles your taste buds.

And don’t even get me started on the toppings! Each topping is expertly placed on the pizza so that each bite brings something new. From classic combinations like pepperoni and olives to more adventurous ones like pineapples and jalapenos – they’ve got it all!

The vibe of the restaurant is amazing, with a unique layout that creates an inviting atmosphere. The decor is both traditional and modern, striking a perfect balance between classic pizza joint and hip hangout spot. And they had a great selection of music playing in the background.

The pizza itself was outstanding! The crust was thin and crispy without being too thick or dry. Every bite was loaded with flavor and went down extremely smooth. In fact, I’d go so far as to say it was almost like eating a cloud – light, airy, and just the right amount of crunch!

And don’t even get me started on the toppings! From expertly cooked bacon to roasted peppers to everything in-between, every topping was cooked to perfection. Needless to say, I left Atlas Pizza feeling very satisfied!

#6 Vinny’s N.Y. Pizza & Grill – Buford

My experience at Vinny’s was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The pizza itself was delicious! It had a perfect combination of a crispy, crunchy crust and flavorful toppings that just melted in your mouth. Plus, the prices are very reasonable – I’m definitely going to be coming back here regularly!

I also have to give Vinny’s props for their unique offerings. Their menu is filled with all sorts of interesting items like gourmet pizzas, calzones and even wings! There’s something for everyone here – which is always a plus in my book.

The atmosphere at Vinny’s is great. The friendly waitstaff make you feel like part of the family, while the cheerful Italian decor really brings out the flavor of their pizzas.

Their pizza is to die for—perfectly crisp crust and rich, flavorful toppings that have been both expertly chosen and prepared. And the cheese? Oh my goodness. It’s so delicious, it almost melts in your mouth!

I was also impressed with how accommodating they were when I asked for a special gluten-free crust. Not only did they have it ready quickly, but it was surprisingly good! My gluten-intolerant friends were delighted by the taste and quality.

In short, I highly recommend Vinny’s Little Italy for anyone who enjoys good pizza. Their friendly atmosphere and top-notch food make for an excellent dining experience, and it’s easy to see why they are considered one of the best pizza restaurants in Gainesville GA!

#8 Napoli’s Pizza

The first thing that struck me was the sheer variety of pizza options they had. From classic Italian styles to more innovative creations, Napoli’s really had something for everyone. The ingredients were of high-quality too, with an impressive selection of premium toppings and cheeses at my disposal.

I decided to go with a classic Margherita pie and I’m glad I did, because it was absolutely delicious! The homemade crust was perfectly crunchy and the sauce had a lovely balance between sweetness and tanginess. The fresh mozzarella cheese added the perfect final touch, so much so that I couldn’t help but have seconds.

The ambience at Napoli’s is pretty fantastic too. It has all the charm of an old-fashioned Italian restaurant with warm lighting, cozy booths, and charming décor. Plus, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all their menu items which made ordering a breeze.

All in all, if you’re looking for some truly outstanding pizza in Gainesville GA then head down to Napoli’s Pizza – you won’t be disappointed!

#9 Papa’s Pizza To Go

The first thing I noticed when I entered the restaurant was the pleasant aroma of freshly-baked pies that filled the air. After drooling over the menu, I decided to order a classic meat lover’s pizza. The thin crust had a nice crunch, and the generous toppings were flavorful and fresh. The cheese had a wonderful texture and taste, and it melted in my mouth!

I also thought the service was excellent – friendly and quick – something you don’t always find at traditional restaurants. My waitress actually took time to ask me if there was anything else I needed, which I thought was very nice.

I would definitely recommend Papa’s Pizza To Go to anyone looking for delicious pizza in Gainesville GA. It’s definitely my new favorite spot for some of the best pizza around!

From the moment I stepped in, I was taken aback by the cheery atmosphere and genuine hospitality of the restaurant staff. It was like a warm hug that drew me in and kept me there.

The pizza itself is superb – cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch and tastiness. The toppings are fresh and flavorful, leaving you wanting more after each bite.

I also have to mention their signature garlic knots side dish – they’re so good they should be considered a meal on their own! The garlic flavor bursts through without being too overpowering and leaves you licking your fingers for more.

Overall, Marco’s Pizza is a must-visit if you’re ever in Gainesville GA! The combination of great atmosphere, amazing pizzas, and incredible side dishes make it the best pizza place in town. Highly recommended!

I had the pleasure of trying their signature pepperoni pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly thin, but not too delicate that it made it a challenge to pick up a slice. The cheese was creamy and melted nicely in my mouth, coating my tongue with the savory flavor of traditional Italian style pizza. The peppers were zesty and fresh, balanced out by the delicious taste of cured pepperonis.

No matter how many pizzas I try all around the world, Papa John’s always remains one of my favorites because they consistently deliver quality food each time I visit them. Even though you can get creative with your toppings, nothing beats their classic pepperoni pizza!

The friendly staff also make every visit more enjoyable as they are always willing to provide helpful suggestions with an accommodating attitude.

#12 Napolis Pizza

The atmosphere here is wonderful. The decor is finished in warm colors and cozy lighting, which makes it feel like you’re in an Italian villa. Even the smell of fresh-baked pizza wafting through the air is inviting!

The service here is top-notch. We were greeted with a smile, and our orders taken quickly and accurately within minutes. After ordering we were served some complimentary garlic bread with olive oil and fresh herbs, to tide us over while waiting for our pizzas to arrive.

Now on to the food! Holy cow – this pizza was as close to perfection as can be. The crust was thin, perfectly cooked, and super crispy. Toppings were generous and tasted fresh; the combination of rich tomato sauce, gooey mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers and onions was absolutely delicious! One bite had me fully hooked on Napolis Pizza’s delectable pies.

To top it all off, Napolis Pizza offers special deals regularly – making them great for those watching their wallets but still craving great pizza.
