I also had the chance to try some of Vinny’s pasta dishes, which were equally amazing. Their homemade sauces are rich and flavorful, and the portions are generous. Plus, the prices are really reasonable – which makes the experience even more enjoyable!

I visited Mario’s Pizza on my recent visit to Glenview and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the pizza. The crust was perfect – crisp on the outside but still pillowy soft on the inside. I made the short trip over from Chicago, and I’m glad I did. The first bite of the cheese pizza was absolutely heavenly. The crust was perfectly crisp and flavorful, and each slice was full of all kinds of deliciousness.

When I walked through the door, I was instantly taken back by the ambience of the place – it’s a friendly family establishment with plenty of seating and lighting to make sure you can clearly see your pizza masterpiece before diving in!
The menu looked delicious – topping combinations galore, from ‘Maui Wowie’ (pineapple, jalapeños, bacon) to ‘Seaside Mushroom’ (seaside mushrooms and four cheeses). In short, there’s something for everyone.
And now for the main event: The pizza. On my first visit I tried their ‘Hawaiian Crush’, which featured an interesting blend of Italian-style tomato sauce and tropical pineapple chunks on top. To say that the result was heavenly would be an understatement! Even more impressive is that they didn’t skimp on quality ingredients – each slice boasted a crisp crust and bubbly cheese that only encouraged me to keep eating.
I have since been back several times and sampled various other slices of heaven from their ovens. Is every bite perfect? No. But let me tell you this – from a traveling food critic that has tasted pizza all over the world: Culinary Gangster Glenview definitely serves up some of the best pizza around!

The décor is cute and cozy – rustic Italian vibes with a modern twist. Plus, the wait staff are top notch; they really know their stuff and make sure your experience is enjoyable.
Speaking of enjoyable, let’s talk pizza! Nancy’s crust is extremely fluffy with that tell-tale crunchiness of wood-fired ovens. The sauce has the perfect amount of sweetness and tang to balance the toppings – which happen to be abundant and fresh! Every bite was loaded with flavor – no skimping here!

I’d heard of Middy Mags Pizzeria before but hadn’t had the opportunity to try it until now. I’m happy I did because it’s the best pizza experience I’ve ever had!
The first thing that impressed me was their selection. They make all kinds of pizzas, from classic New York style to gourmet creations like Hawaiian and Mediterranean. I decided on a classic Margherita and it definitely did not disappoint. The crust was just the right thickness, with a nice balance of crunchy and chewy. The tomatoes were so ripe and flavorful, you could tell they didn’t skimp on quality ingredients.
The atmosphere at Middy Mags Pizzeria is great too! It’s a cozy spot, with a mix of both local patrons and tourists looking for a good slice of pizza. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. They made sure our order was taken care of right away and offered us suggestions for drinks and other menu items. And their jukebox is always playing some old school jams – what more could you ask for?
Overall, Middy Mags Pizzeria has been my favorite pizza spot in Glenview so far! If you’re looking for consistently delicious pizza with excellent service, this is the place to go.

What really sets North Branch apart from other pizza places is their unique sauce and selection of seasonings. They use a delicious blend of herbs for an added punch of flavor, and their sauces are made fresh daily.
