In a quest to discover the best pizza in town, I decided to settle down here for a while and visit 12 local pizza places! After much tasting and sampling (and maybe a few too many slices), I’m ready to report my findings.

The very first time I walked into this pizza joint, the aromas of pepperoni and cheese took me back to my childhood pizza memories. And boy was I not disappointed!

My first impression walking into the restaurant was that I had stepped into a New York pizza joint. From the colorful red and white checkered tablecloths to the knick-knacks and memorabilia adorning the walls, it definitely had a New York vibe.

But what really impressed me was the food. The pizza was amazing! Thin and crispy with just the right amount of cheese, sauce, and toppings. I tried several different pizzas on my visit and each one was better than the last.

The service at Sal’s NY Pizza- King Street was perfect too. My server went out of her way to make sure I had something tasty to drink in addition to my pizza, and made sure all of my questions were answered about each type of pizza I was trying. She even gave me some recommendations for other things on their menu!

From start to finish it’s clear they strive for quality in everything they do, from the atmosphere to the food. The atmosphere at this charming pizzeria is wonderful. The walls are decorated with beautiful art and the music is great – it’s like a little piece of Italy in Virginia!

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to answer any questions you might have about the menu. And the pizza itself? Outstanding! Rich, flavorful crusts. Fresh, delicious toppings. Perfectly cooked so that each bite melts in your mouth. It’s obvious why Anna’s Italian Pizza has become one of the most popular places in town.

The atmosphere at MOD Pizza is really casual and inviting. They have these funky chairs and tables, so it almost feels like I’m eating in a pizza-themed art gallery! Plus, the staff were all friendly and helpful, which made it a great experience to dine there.

When it comes down to the food itself, the pizzas are delicious. They have an array of toppings to choose from that are always fresh. Even better, you can create your own personalized masterpiece or just go with one of their signature creations. Being able to customize my pizza was definitely a highlight for me!

I’ll start by saying the atmosphere is great at Domino’s. The décor is classic and comfortable, and you can tell they take great pride in their space. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly!

But let’s talk about the pizza—because that’s really where Domino’s shines. From traditional Pepperoni to a gourmet White Pizza with spinach and feta, there is something for everyone on the menu. I’m especially impressed with their crust options: thin & crispy, deep dish, or pan pizza; all of them are DELICIOUS!

For toppings, you get your pick of premium meats and veggies including bacon, ham, mushrooms, peppers and more. It doesn’t matter if you’re a meat-lover or vegetarian—there are endless possibilities with Domino’s custom pizzas.

The price point is also worth noting—Domino’s has some of the best value around while still maintaining a high quality product. All in all, I’m giving Domino’s Pizza two thumbs up for being not just one of the best pizza joints in Hampton Roads but one of my favorite pizzerias ever!

I’ve been to many pizza places, and Marco’s Pizza is definitely up there as one of the best. From the moment I walked in, I could smell the delicious aroma of pizza that filled the room. The service was friendly and welcoming, and my mouth was already watering from just stepping inside!

The pizza itself was top-notch – crusts were perfectly cooked, cheese melted like a dream and toppings were expertly applied. I couldn’t believe how good it tasted! It wasn’t greasy or heavy either, which is something you don’t always get with other pizzas. It felt like every bite melted in my mouth.

And the ingredients? All fresh and flavorful – nothing canned or pre-packaged here! Plus there are so many options to choose from – there’s sure to be something for everyone.

Best Deep Dish Pizza – Capri Pizza & Italian Restaurant

Walking into this little slice of pizza heaven, I was immediately greeted by the delightful aroma of bubbling cheese and sizzling pepperoni. It’s like my nose was on a first-class flight to pizza paradise! The interior of the restaurant was filled with Italian memorabilia that made me feel like I was dining in an Italian grandmother’s living room, complete with pictures of her pasta-making adventures plastered on the walls.

But let’s get down to business – the pizza. Oh boy, the pizza. It was a glorious masterpiece of doughy goodness. The deep dish crust was perfect. It was sturdy enough to hold all the toppings, yet still had that soft, pillowy texture that melted in my mouth. And let’s not forget about the cheese! It was so ooey-gooey, I couldn’t help but do a cheese pull for the Insta. A word of caution: be prepared to burn your tongue, because you won’t be able to resist diving straight into this cheesy heaven.

The toppings were plentiful and fresh. The pepperoni had just the right amount of spice to give my taste buds a little kick, without overpowering the other flavors. And the sauce – oh my, the sauce! It was tangy and robust, the perfect compliment to the delicious dough and cheese.
