Best Pizza in Hood River (Updated Fall 2023)

I’ve tasted pizza around the world, from Italy to New York City and many places in between. But I think it’s time for me to turn my discerning palate on Hood River’s pizza scene.

After scouring the town and taste-testing slices from no less than 10 different pizza joints, I can confidently say that I have a list of the best pizzas in Hood River. With lots of humor and lightheartedness, I’m excited to share my findings with you.

My first experience with Saw Tooth Roadhouse was one I won’t soon forget. Their signature pizzas were fresh and delicious, with unique toppings that made every slice something special. Even their crust was perfect – thin enough to stay crispy yet thick enough to hold up its toppings without slipping off!

I have to admit, the atmosphere of Saw Tooth Roadhouse is really special too. From the rustic wood tables down to the exposed brick walls, it’s almost as if you’ve stepped into an Italian trattoria in New York City. But that’s not all – the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, making sure you always feel like family.

All in all, Saw Tooth Roadhouse is my pick for the best pizza in Hood River. If you ever get the chance to go here, do it – your taste buds will thank you later!

I have to start off by mentioning the alcohol they serve. Not only do they have beer and wine, but they also offer hard liquor. It’s not often that you see a pizza joint with a full bar.

The menu itself is impressive too. They have lots of options for vegetarians and many tasty toppings on their pizzas. But even better, they offer a kid’s menu! I was especially delighted to see this at a pizza place because our little ones can get more than just their typical cheese or pepperoni. And then there’s the dessert. Oh wow, it’s insanely delicious!

Being in a tourist area, I’m sure Solstice Wood Fire Pizza – Cafe & Bar will become quite popular. Everything from the atmosphere to the services make it an ideal spot for taking friends and family out for dinner or grabbing a quick bite.

My biggest complaint about Solstice Wood Fire Pizza – Cafe & Bar is that they don’t offer delivery services. But considering how fantastic the pizza is here, I’m willing to brave the trip over to Hood River just for some slices of heaven on earth!

The moment I walked into PELINTI PIZZA, my eyes lit up with excitement. The restaurant had a cozy, family atmosphere that immediately drew me in. The staff were friendly and encouraging, and they even went out of their way to provide extra-special service.

It didn’t take long for me to sample the delicious pizza! Every bite was amazing—the crust was thin and perfectly crispy while still being light enough not to overwhelm the toppings. The cheese was melted to perfection, and the sauce was a wonderful blend of sweet and spicy.

As if the taste wasn’t enough, the presentation of the pizza was top-notch as well. They used genuine Italian ingredients with lots of love and attention to detail. Even the smoke from their ovens adds an extra flavor!

All in all, PELINTI PIZZA has earned its title as having some of the best pizza in Hood River—and that’s coming from a professional traveler like myself who has tasted countless pies around the world! If you’re ever in town and looking for a great slice (or two), stop by this establishment—you won’t regret it.

The pizza is made with care, using fresh local ingredients, and wood-fire baking. The flavor of the sauce and toppings blended perfectly to create a truly delicious pie. I tried the Mushroom Truffle pizza, and it was pure magic!

I must admit that my experience was made even better by the friendly staff at Solstice Wood Fire Pizza Truck. They went out of their way to ensure that I had a great experience – even offering me some free samples when I was deciding which pizza to try!

All in all, my visit to Solstice Wood Fire Pizza Truck left me feeling satisfied and happy. They have truly earned their reputation as having some of the best pizza in Hood River – I definitely recommend them for anyone looking for an amazing meal!

To start, the atmosphere was great – casual and inviting. Plus, the fact that it serves alcohol was a huge bonus!

There’s a wide variety of pizza choices, from classic pepperoni to creative combos that had my taste buds dancing. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and they make sure every detail is perfect. The pizza comes out hot and crispy just like it should be.

The only downside is that there is no delivery option available. However, with the quality of their pizzas being so high, I’ll definitely be making the drive back to Double Mountain Brewery for more!

I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for the best pizza in Hood River – you won’t be disappointed!

From the second I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was super friendly. They took the time to talk me through the menu and make sure my pizza experience was extra enjoyable.

The pizza…oh, the pizza! It’s definitely some of the best pizza I’ve ever had – anywhere. The crust had a perfect balance of crunchiness and chewiness with just enough seasoning to add an extra level of flavor. The sauce tasted homemade, almost bursting with flavor from all the herbs and spices used. And don’t even get me started on the cheese – it was so creamy and melted perfectly in every bite.

I’m confident that Andrew’s Pizza has earned its title as having the best pizza in Hood River!

Upon entering, it’s immediately clear that Pietro’s Pizza is serious about their pizza. Fresh dough, bubbling cheese and aromatic sauces fill the air. The staff was attentive and helpful in helping me pick the perfect toppings.

The pizza itself was amazing! The crust was just the right amount of chewy and crunchy; not too thick, not too thin. It had a nice flavor that blended perfectly with the delicious cheeses and fresh toppings. The sauce was especially good; it was sweet but still had a hint of spice.

I would go back to this place again and again for some of the best pizza in Hood River!

My experience at Papa Murphy’s was spectacular. When I first walked in, the inviting and modern atmosphere set the tone for a great meal. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu; they even gave me helpful recommendations about which toppings to add!

The pizza itself was incredible. It had a wonderfully crisp crust that was just the right amount of golden brown. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the sauce brought everything together perfectly. There’s no need to worry about making any adjustments to this pizza; it came out perfect after baking it according to the instructions!

Overall, I’d give Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza the highest rating – five stars! They offer some of the best pizza in Hood River, and their friendly service makes them an easy choice when you’re looking for a delicious take-out option!

The crust was perfection – thin and crunchy on the outside, and soft and doughy on the inside. The sauce wasn’t too sweet, but definitely enough of it to give my taste buds a burst of flavor. Toppingwise, I was surprised by how fresh all the ingredients were. From the bell peppers to the olives, every topping was incredibly fresh and added an extra layer of flavor.

I don’t want to skip over the most important part – the cheese! Wow! It was some of the best mozzarella I’ve tasted in a long time – creamy, melty, and oh so satisfying. My taste buds were in pizza heaven!

Overall, Domino’s Pizza is an amazing establishment that serves up hot slices of deliciousness right at your doorstep. If you’re looking for great pizza in Hood River, look no further than Domino’s Pizza!

I’m a sucker for a good slice, and this place definitely does not disappoint. Not only do they have some of the tastiest pies around, but they also offer alcoholic beverages (and even hard liquor!). Talk about the perfect evening out!

The great thing about Romuls is that it caters to everyone. They have a kid’s menu as well as vegetarian options if you’re looking for something less traditional. And don’t get me started on the dessert! The sweetness and flavors blew me away; I highly recommend trying a piece before you leave.

The only downside I found was that there’s no delivery – but that’s the only thing keeping this place from becoming 5-star in my book!

Overall, Romuls is an excellent eatery that offers fantastic pizza plus all of the perks I mentioned earlier. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in Hood River – and trust me, it won’t disappoint!
