I’m always on the lookout for the best pizza around the world, and I’ve been lucky enough to try a lot of them. So when I heard that Huntington Beach had some hot spots for pie, I knew I had to check it out. After trying twelve wonderful places in the area, I’m ready to share with you my take on the best pizza in Huntington Beach.

My job is to eat good food so you don’t have to! And believe me, this was a delicious mission – even if it was tough at times. Get ready for some cheesy stories and mouth-watering results as we settle the debate: which pizza place offers the tastiest slice in Huntington Beach?

#1 ZeroZero39 Pizzeria

Upon walking into the restaurant, I immediately noticed the welcoming aroma of the pizza dough baking in the oven. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I started my meal with an order of their garlic knots which were cooked perfectly, with a hint of olive oil and parsley flavoring. The garlic knots were so delicious that I ordered another round!

For my entrée, I decided to try one of ZeroZero39’s signature pizzas, the “Honolulu Heaven.” This pizza came covered in mozzarella cheese and topped with pineapple, Canadian bacon, jalapenos, and some secret ingredients. It was clear why this is considered one of their signature dishes – it was absolutely heavenly! I savored every bite until there were none left on my plate.

Overall, ZeroZero39 Pizzeria has made a fan out of me. Not only do they have outstanding food but it was clear that they take great pride in providing excellent service to their customers. That combination has earned them a spot at the top for best pizza in Huntington Beach – bravo!

#2 Massimo’s Pizza

The first time I visited, the owner, Massimo, greeted me with a warm smile and a hug. I was immediately impressed that he cared enough about his customers to make them feel welcome.

The pizza itself was delightful – perfectly cooked and topped with fresh ingredients. The crust was light and crispy just like I like it. I also tried some of their wings which were also cooked to perfection – juicy and full of flavor!

All in all, an excellent experience! While there are other great pizza places in Huntington Beach serving delicious pizza, none can compare to Massimo’s! Highly recommended!

#3 First Class Pizza

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant last week and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The decor was simple yet inviting, and there were plenty of tables for seating.

The pizza itself was simply delightful. It had a thin crust with just the right amount of crispness, topped with generous amounts of melted cheese and fresh vegetables. The flavors were well-balanced and flavorful, without being too greasy or heavy.

The service was also top notch. My server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. She answered all of my questions about their food offerings in detail, which made me feel right at home.

#4 Johnny’s Saloon & Pizzeria

I had heard great things about this place and decided to take a chance. I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this is a great tourist spot and the perfect place to watch sports. Plus, they have alcohol on tap—including hard liquor for those of you who are in the mood for something more potent.

Their pizza definitely does not disappoint. The crust is perfectly crispy, the toppings are fresh and flavourful, and by far the most delicious aspect is their signature tomato sauce. It’s like no other pizza sauce I’ve ever tasted!

The only downside of Johnny’s Saloon & Pizzeria is that they don’t offer delivery. That being said, it’s well worth the trip to experience their amazing pizzas in person. And if you get there early enough, you can grab a pint or two while you wait!

#5 Buon Gusto

The atmosphere at Buon Gusto is just what I would expect from a great Italian restaurant – walls decorated with Italian artwork, red-checked tablecloths and friendly staff make it a cozy place to take a break. The menu options are extensive and the prices are more than fair.

Pizza is definitely the star at Buon Gusto – they offer several different styles in various sizes, so you’re sure to find something that will hit the spot. The thin crust pizzas are my favorite – not too thin but still crispy, with generous amounts of flavorful toppings and a perfect combination of gooey cheese and spicy sauce.

My friends from Italy also love going to Buon Gusto for their Neapolitan pizzas, which have an airy, soft crust topped with tomatoes, sausage and basil. It’s about as close as you can get to having pizza in Napoli without actually being there!

#6 Two Brothers Pizza

When I stepped in, it was packed – which is a good sign. The atmosphere was bustling and the staff was friendly.

The pizza itself? Delicious! Not only did it have a great crunchy crust, but it was also really cheesy and flavorful. It had just the right amount of sauce and toppings, too.

I had a great time tasting the different pizzas Two Brothers offers and I enjoyed their selection of craft beers. If you’re looking for some delicious pizza in Huntington Beach, I definitely recommend Two Brothers Pizza!

#7 Munchies Pizza

The entire experience of eating at Munchies Pizza was like a dream come true. The restaurant is quaint, comfortable, and inviting. On top of that, the staff were all so friendly and accommodating that I felt like part of the family!

As for the pizza itself, it was absolutely delicious. They have a wide selection of toppings to choose from and each one had its own unique flavor that was out-of-this-world! Not only does Munchies make a great classic pizza, but they also serve some truly creative pizzas that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palate.

Overall, I would highly recommend Munchies Pizza to anyone looking for the best pizza in Huntington Beach! Even if you’re not from around here, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in town – you won’t regret it!

#8 Hank’s West Pizza

I’ve been to a lot of places in search of perfect pizza – from the backstreets of Rome to the hipster meccas of Brooklyn – and I thought I’d encountered it all. But boy, was I wrong!

Hank’s West Pizza completely blew my mind. The pizza is cooked in an old-fashioned brick oven, giving it a unique smokey flavor that you just can’t find anywhere else. The sauce was spot on – savory and sweet with a nice kick of heat. And their fresh-made crusts were crisp and light, but with just enough chewiness for maximum enjoyment.

To top it off, the staff at Hank’s West Pizza are some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. They go out of their way to make sure that your experience is as enjoyable as possible, which is exactly what you want when dining out.

Another great thing about Perry’s Pizza is their affordable prices. You can get a large pizza for just $15 – you won’t find better value for money elsewhere!

#10 Porky’s Pizza

On my first visit, I was taken aback by the sheer size of the pizza they serve. The crust is fluffy and just a little crispy, while the sauce is savory and flavorful. And oh man – the toppings! Everything from pepperoni to pineapple was so fresh and delicious. Not to mention, the amount of cheese on each slice was enough to make me forget about all the diets I’ve been on lately.

The atmosphere here is also great. The restaurant has a fun, family-friendly vibe that makes it perfect for parties or date nights. Plus, their staff is always friendly and welcoming – never rushing you out like some other spots I’ve been to before. That’s why I keep coming back time and time again whenever I’m in Huntington Beach!

#11 Pizza D’Oro

The crust was truly heavenly – it had a wonderfully crunchy texture with a hint of salt that made every bite memorable. The toppings and sauces were equally impressive, as the combinations of ingredients worked together in perfect harmony.

From the classic pepperoni and mushroom to some more exotic offerings like beef & onions, there was something for everyone. The servings were generous, too – two slices could easily be enough to fill up even the hungriest pizza fan.

The atmosphere at Pizza D’Oro was also top-notch; lots of free samples were available, and the staff went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy with their order. All in all it’s clear that Pizza D’Oro puts a lot of effort and thought into making their customers feel comfortable.

#12 A Slice of New York Pizza Huntington Beach

The restaurant has an inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a few slices of pizza. The decor reminded me of being back in the Big Apple, but with a beachy twist.

When it came time to order some slices, I was blown away with the variety they had available. They had all the traditional favorites like pepperoni and cheese pizza but also unique options like Greek pizza.

The wait for my food wasn’t long at all and when it arrived, I could tell it was going to be delicious! The crust was crispy yet chewy and the savory toppings were cooked perfectly. Plus, the portions were generous – like any true New York style place should be.

Overall, A Slice of New York Pizza Huntington Beach is one of my new favorite places to get pizza in town. It isn’t just good by local standards but can hold its own against most pizzerias around the world!

Best Deep Dish Pizza – Burtucci’s NY Pizza

Now, let’s talk about their vegetarian options. As a fellow vegetable lover, I am always on the lookout for places that cater to my leafy-green cravings. Luckily, Burtucci’s NY Pizza does a pretty decent job in this department. Their vegetarian options are filled with flavor and creativity, and the best part is that you can devour them guilt-free knowing that no cute animals were harmed in the making of your meal.

Now, onto the downsides. Burtucci’s NY Pizza, unfortunately, does not accept reservations. Now, I consider myself a pretty important person (in my own mind, at least), and waiting in line for a table like a regular Joe is simply unacceptable. But hey, sometimes you have to make sacrifices for a slice of heaven, right?

All in all, Burtucci’s NY Pizza is a spot where you can fill your belly with mouthwatering deep dish pizza while sipping on a cold one. The combination of their cheesy, crispy crust, the melty goodness of their toppings, and a nice refreshing drink is a match made in foodie heaven. When I first walked into ZeroZero39 Pizzeria, I couldn’t help but be drawn in by the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked dough and tantalizing toppings. As a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur, I knew I was in for a treat.

As I perused the menu, my eyes widened with excitement. They had a vast array of options, from classic Margherita to inventive combinations like the Bacon and Brussels sprout pizza. I couldn’t resist trying them all, much to the dismay of my waistline.
