I’ve visited twelve different pizza places in the area and reviewed them based on their cheese, crust, toppings and overall flavor. Whether you’re a fan of traditional hand-thrown pies, Neapolitan-style pizzas or creative pies with unique toppings, Huntsville has something to offer – and I’m here to tell you all about it! #1 Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza

I had heard great things about this restaurant before I got there and they definitely lived up to the hype. The pizza has a unique taste to it, since it’s wood-fired. It’s not too smoky but definitely enough to leave a distinct flavor that sets it apart from other pizzas I’ve tried.

The toppings are fresh and flavorful, and I think everyone should have the opportunity to try them at least once. My favorite topping was the salami, which had just the right amount of spiciness for my tastes.

The service is great too; everyone is friendly and helpful when ordering. Plus, you can order online for pickup or delivery so you don’t even have to leave your house!

To sum up, Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza is definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in Huntsville AL – it’s some of the best pizza I’ve ever had!

#2 DJ’s Pizza

I was immediately impressed with the establishment the moment I walked through the door. The pizza oven is front and center so you can watch your pizza being freshly made in front of you, which I absolutely loved.

The menu offers a large variety of fresh and delicious pizzas to choose from. From classic pepperoni to more inventive creations, there is something for everyone! Each pizza is made with fresh, quality ingredients that are noticeable in every bite.

The customer service was also great; my order was taken quickly and delivered just as fast, hot and fresh out of the oven. Plus, when it arrived at my table it looked like a masterpiece (even though I obviously had to eat it).

Overall, DJ’s Pizza is definitely the best pizza in Huntsville AL! I would highly recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for a great dining experience. You won’t be disappointed!

The crust is made of the perfect blend of crunchy and light, which allows for an amazing bite. The combination of classic and unique toppings allows for a wide variety of experiences when it comes to pizza. What’s even better is that they have an extensive menu with many great options.

But what really set BeeZr® apart from other pizza joints I’ve visited is their wide selection of alcoholic drinks. They serve beer, wine, and hard liquor – which is so rare to find in a pizza joint! It was the perfect way to cap off the meal with some refreshments on a hot summer day.

Plus, after all that pizza eating, who can resist some dessert? I especially love their chocolate cake – it’s always moist and chocolatey! The staff at BeeZr® are friendly and accommodating too; they really make sure you feel taken care of every time.

The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery services yet, but if you’re in the area or close by, then it’s definitely worth checking out! I highly recommend BeeZr® if you’re looking for one of the best pizzas in Huntsville AL – it won’t disappoint!

#4 Sam & Greg’s Pizzeria/ Gelateria Huntsville

The pizza itself is a work of art, with a perfect combination of freshly-made dough and homemade tomato sauce that just can’t be beat. The toppings are always fresh and the crust is delicious; it has just the right amount of crunch to make me want more.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is lively and inviting, so much so that I couldn’t help but swing by even though I had already tried their pizza. The service was friendly and attentive, making sure that my experience was top notch.

The gelato selection was also delightful, with a variety of flavors sure to please any sweet tooth, big or small. And if that wasn’t enough; they have an array of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and desserts – all served with great care.

In short; Sam & Greg’s Pizzeria/ Gelateria Huntsville has definitely earned its title as having some of the best pizza in Huntsville AL! Highly recommended for foodies or anyone who wants to experience great Italian food without leaving town!

#5 Big Ed’s Pizza

I was lucky enough to taste an array of their delicious offerings, from the classic margherita pizza to the supreme-loaded pies. What can I say, Big Ed’s is truly a master of the craft and they’ve managed to hit every flavor profile that I enjoy. Every bite was absolutely heavenly and completely satisfies my pizza cravings.

To top off the amazing pizzas, their service made the experience even more enjoyable. From the friendly staff at the counter to the attentive waiters on my table, Big Ed’s has a great atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

First of all, their presentation is impeccable. Every pizza I’ve tried has been perfectly cooked and presented with a beautiful garnish. The toppings are carefully chosen to create the perfect flavor combination, and there’s plenty of them! Every bite is full of flavor and texture.

The crusts at Mellow Mushroom Huntsville have just the right amount of crunch, making it easy to pick up a slice without having to struggle with it. And they don’t skimp on the cheese either – it’s always generous and delicious!

What puts Mellow Mushroom Huntsville over the top for me though is their friendly staff. Everyone seems genuinely excited to serve you each and every time you come in. Plus, the whole restaurant is warm and inviting – it feels like family in there!

The atmosphere was fabulous, with charming Italian decor and a very friendly staff. The pizza itself is amazing- the crust is light and fluffy, with just the right amount of crispiness. The toppings are always fresh and flavorful. And the cheese—oh my goodness! Spicy, creamy, and oh-so-gooey—it’s definitely one of the highlights of this place.

I don’t think I could rave about Marco’s Pizza more! They even have a variety of specialty pies, from Greek to vegan options. No matter what kind of pizza you’re in the mood for, they have something delicious to offer.

Overall, Marco’s Pizza offers some of the best pizza in Huntsville AL. If you’re ever in town, make sure to give them a try—you won’t be disappointed!

#8 Mellow Mushroom Huntsville South

Their pies are the perfect combination of fresh ingredients and a crispy crust – the key to an amazing pizza. Plus, their huge selection of craft beers is definitely worth mentioning!

The atmosphere at Mellow Mushroom Huntsville South lives up to its name – chilled out and mellow. The decor is funky and inviting and the staff are always friendly. They also have an outdoor patio where you can take in their great views while indulging in their delicious pizzas.

Overall, I think that Mellow Mushroom Huntsville South definitely deserves its title as the best pizza joint in town. Whether you’re looking for a quick slice or a full-on feast, this place has got it all!

#9 PaPPo’s Pizzeria & Pub Huntsville Memorial Pkwy SW

The atmosphere was electric as soon as I stepped in the door. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was filled with people enjoying some of the best pizza I’ve ever tasted.

I started out with one of their traditional Italian pies. It was cooked to perfection – the crust was thin, crisp, and golden brown on top. The toppings were flavorful and plentiful; it was a real taste of Italy!

Next up I tried one of their signature pizzas. This particular pie had a thick, fluffy, focaccia-style crust that tasted delicious with all the different flavors in each bite! The ingredients were fresh and savory, making for an exquisite experience.

No matter what kind of pizza you’re looking for, PaPPo’s Pizzeria & Pub Huntsville Memorial Pkwy SW has something to offer everyone. From their classic Italian-style pies to their creative signature recipes, they have a little something for everyone’s palate. They have great deals on pizza too – perfect for families or large groups!

All in all, it’s safe to say that my visit to this Huntsville favorite was well worth it; I can now confidently say that PaPPo’s Pizzeria & Pub Huntsville Memorial Pkwy SW is easily one of the best pizzerias in town!

#10 MOD Pizza

I arrived at the restaurant to find a bustling atmosphere, with happy customers enjoying their meals. The staff was friendly and helpful, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. I took my seat and placed an order for the ‘Jalapeño Passion’ pizza – which even had jalapeño peppers as its namesake ingredient!

The pizza itself was sublime – made fresh with hand-tossed dough and topped with amazing ingredients like mozzarella, parmesan and creamy garlic sauce. It was light and savory, but still held up to my scrutiny due to its thickness and crispy edges. It also had a deliciously smoky flavor from the roasted jalapeños.

Overall, MOD Pizza is definitely one of the best pizza places in Huntsville AL that I’ve ever visited! If you’re ever visiting Huntsville make sure you check them out – it’s definitely worth it!

#11 Venice Pizza

I recently visited this restaurant and was truly impressed. The atmosphere was inviting and the staff were friendly, making it an enjoyable experience overall.

The pizza itself was divine! It had an absolutely perfect amount of cheese and a nice, crisp crust that melted in my mouth. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, which really elevated the taste of each slice. Plus, they offer so many topping options that you can customize your creation to your exact tastes – a real plus for me!

Overall, I have to say that Venice Pizza is one of the best pizza places I’ve come across in my travels- Huntsville AL definitely has something special here! So if you’re looking for some delicious pizza, be sure to give Venice Pizza a try…you won’t be disappointed!

#12 Pane E Vino Pizzeria

From the moment I stepped through their doors, I was struck by the homey atmosphere and delicious smells. The friendly staff were more than happy to explain their menu to me, and it didn’t take long for me to decide what to order.

I ended up going with one of their signature pizzas – the Pane E Vino Special. It was cooked perfectly, with a golden-brown crust that was both crunchy and chewy, and topped with all kinds of amazing flavors: sweet Italian sausage, gooey cheese, mushrooms, peppers, olives – you name it. It was a perfect blend of flavors that really complemented each other.

The ingredients tasted so fresh and flavorful that I’m almost convinced they were hand-picked from an Italian garden! And since no great pizza experience is complete without an icy cold beer to wash it down, I took full advantage of their excellent selection; my taste buds thanked me later!

All in all, my experience at Pane E Vino Pizzeria has left me believing they could arguably serve up some of the best pizza in Huntsville AL!
