I’ve been lucky enough to have tasted pizza all over the world, so I know a great slice when I see (and taste) one. That’s why I was determined to explore Johnston RI and find the best pizza in town. After a few rounds of tasting, I narrowed it down to 12 places that serve some truly amazing pies.

#1 Albertino’s Pizza

From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for something special. The smell of freshly baked pizza dough and tomatoes filled the air and my mouth began to water.

With anticipation, I surveyed the menu and decided to try the Margherita Pizza with extra mozzarella cheese. It didn’t take long before I had a hot slice in my hands and took my first bite. The crust was crisp but not too thick, while juicy tomatoes and gooey cheese were perfectly balanced out by fragrant basil leaves.

The toppings were fresh, flavorful and generously applied, enough that every bite felt like a flavor explosion in my mouth. In fact, Albertino’s Pizza makes some of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted!

To top it off, Albertino’s Pizza also has an extensive selection of other Italian dishes on offer such as calzones, pastas and subs. All in all, this is definitely one place you should check out if you’re looking for great pizza in Johnston RI!

#2 D. Palmieri’s Bakery

The crust is light, crispy, and just salty enough to leave me wanting more. The sauce is packed with bold flavors that make each bite a delight. Topping selection is great with classics like pepperoni and sausage alongside creative options like eggplant and grilled vegetables – something that’s hard to find among other pizza places.

It was easy to tell the ingredients were fresh upon my first bite and the ambience of the restaurant certainly played its part in making my experience truly special.

My only complaint? They don’t offer delivery! Because of this, I had to be ‘in the moment’ for this experience – no takeout or delivery allowed! That said, I believe D. Palmieri’s Bakery has some of the best pizza in Johnston RI and I highly recommend paying them a visit if you’re in town.

#3 Catanzaro’s Pizzeria Cranston

Not only is the pizza crusted to perfection, but it has a perfect blend of spices and flavors that make you drool with every bite. They use fresh ingredients, so their pizzas are always delicious.

Their menu also includes a wide variety of toppings, from classic pepperoni to creative options such as roasted garlic, cherry tomatoes, and feta cheese. And if you’re looking for something even more adventurous, they offer gourmet pies where you can customize your own pizza!

The atmosphere at Catanzaro’s Pizzeria Cranston is welcoming and relaxed – it doesn’t try too hard to be fancy or pretentious, which allows the pizza to take center stage. Plus, the staff are friendly and efficient – they’ll get your order going in no time!

In conclusion: I’ve tried pizzas from all over the world but I have to say that Catanzaro’s Pizzeria Cranston has some of the best pizza in Johnston RI! If you’re in the area and feeling hungry, stop by – you won’t regret it!

I was surprised by the quality of pizza served at Bella Pizza. It was unlike anything I had ever tasted before! From the authentic Italian recipes to their unique and delicious toppings, my taste buds were in heaven.

The crust was crispy and light with a hint of garlic and rosemary, while the inside was soft, fluffy, and flavorful. The toppings were fresh and all of the ingredients blended together perfectly, creating an unforgettable flavor combination.

The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they seemed to really care about their customers’ experience. I even got a few extra slices at no charge just for being a first-time customer!

All in all, Bella Pizza is definitely one of the best pizzerias in Johnston RI. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out on some truly amazing pizza!

#5 J. Palmieri Pizzeria & Pub

The atmosphere is great – cozy yet inviting, with a casual pub feel. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to answer my questions.

The pizza itself? Absolutely delicious – from the cheesy, gooey goodness of the cheese pizzas to the yummy toppings and unique signature recipes. There’s something for everyone! And did I mention the crust? It’s thin, crispy and cooked to perfection every time.

It was such a pleasant surprise to find this gem of a pizza joint in Johnston RI. After tasting all the pies, I can safely say that J. Palmieri Pizzeria & Pub has some of the best pizza around! Don’t take my word for it – experience it for yourself!

#6 The Big Cheese & Pub

Before I even bit into my first slice, the atmosphere and ambiance of this cozy pub had me feeling right at home. With plenty of TVs, board games, and couches, it seemed like the perfect place to grab a slice while shooting the breeze with friends.

But enough about the atmosphere – let’s get to what really matters: the pizza! As soon as my piping hot pie arrived at my table, I knew it was going to be good. It was thick yet light and fluffy at the same time, with a hint of smoky flavor in every bite. Every topping seemed perfectly cooked and melted together perfectly – not an easy feat for a pizza place!

I boldly declare that The Big Cheese & Pub has indeed got some of the best pizza in Johnston RI! Whether you’re just stopping by or planning a night out with friends, this restaurant is sure to please. And if you’re lucky enough to catch them on trivia night? Even better!

#7 Caserta Pizzeria

From the moment I stepped into this humble little pizzeria, I was taken aback by the inviting atmosphere. The cozy yet modern decor made me feel right at home.

But it was the pizza that really blew me away! The classic pie was cooked to perfection with a golden-brown crust and smoky flavor that could only be achieved after being cooked in a coal-fired oven. Every bite melted in my mouth like butter!

The toppings were also top notch. They combine classic Italian flavors with fresh local ingredients to create a unique flavor profile on every bite.

I topped off my meal with a glass of Chianti and their delectable tiramisu for dessert – both were just as divine as the pizza! All in all, Caserta Pizzeria has earned its distinction of being considered one of the best pizza places in Johnston RI – and perhaps even around the world too.

The atmosphere at Pizzeria Romana Johnston was great. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the pizzas were cooked to perfection in their brick ovens.

But of course, it’s all about the taste when I’m judging a pizza. Fortunately, Pizzeria Romana Johnston definitely delivered! The crust was perfectly crisp, the sauce had a nice balance of flavors, and the topping selection was excellent. My favorite was their classic pepperoni pizza, which has been a hit since they opened their doors years ago.

Overall, Pizzeria Romana Johnston is an outstanding pizza experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Johnston RI.

#9 Rosa Mia Pizza

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The crust was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of crunchiness that I love. It wasn’t too thick or too thin either… it was just right! Plus, their sauce had a great flavor that was definitely unique.

The toppings were fresh and flavorful, with a nice variety available. I went for the classic pepperoni and mushroom combo and it tasted like I was in pizza heaven! The cheese melted perfectly and really tied the flavors together nicely.

I have to say that Rosa Mia Pizza is one of my favorite places for pizza in Johnston RI. The prices are also very reasonable which is always a plus when going out for dinner. Oh, and don’t forget to get some of their homemade garlic knots — they’re incredible!

#10 The 78 Pub @ This Guy’s Pizza

I arrived at the restaurant on a Saturday night expecting to be disappointed. Boy, was I wrong! Every slice of this delicious pizza was loaded with flavor and just the right amount of cheese. As you can imagine, I was in heaven as all my senses were fully engaged.

When I took a bite of the first slice, what hit me right away was an incredible crispiness and moisture combination that only a master in pizza-making could pull off. The crust has a wonderful texture, and it is delicately balanced with the perfect proportion of cheese, sauce and toppings.

The service at The 78 Pub @ This Guy’s Pizza was also top-notch. The waiters were friendly and knowledgeable about their products, which gave me confidence that they truly care about serving quality food.

#11 De Petrillo’s Pizza & Bakery

I recently had an amazing experience at De Petrillo’s Pizza & Bakery and I can confidently say that it is one of the best pizza spots in Johnston RI. The thin crust was cooked to perfection, the cheese was perfectly melted, and every bite was absolutely delicious.

I must mention that their dessert selection is also something to write home about. After devouring my pizza, I treated myself to a slice of tiramisu which was incredibly light and fluffy – a perfect way to finish off the meal.

It’s worth noting that they don’t offer delivery so you’ll have to take a trip down there, but once you bite into one of their slices, you’ll be glad you did! If you’re ever in Johnston RI and looking for great pizza, stop by De Petrillo’s Pizza & Bakery – it will not disappoint!

I’m a pizza connoisseur, and let me tell you – Expresso’s Pizza is an Italian slice of heaven! From the moment I walked in, I was overwhelmed by the smell of fresh baked dough and pizzeria spices. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, which made it just right for a late night snack.

Now, onto the pizza itself. Their classic Margherita pizza is my favorite – it has just the right amount of cheese and tomato sauce to make it absolutely delicious. Every ingredient used in their pizzas is top quality, so you can be sure that you are getting the best possible product.

On top of that, their staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They always have suggestions to help you get exactly what you want from your meal. What more could you ask for?
