I’ve made it my mission to sample every pizza place in the area and find the absolute best. After visiting 12 of these establishments, I have crowned a winner!

However, none of this was taken seriously. This search for the best pizza in Kauai was lighthearted and full of good fun! So keep that in mind as you read through my pizza journey. It’s time to embark on a humorous adventure to discover what’s really cooking up in Kauai!

#1 Diamond’s Pizza Hawaii

The first thing that made an impression on me was the atmosphere of this place – I could just feel the aloha spirit while I was there. But, of course, the pizza is really what matters here and Diamond’s definitely delivered! Their crust is perfectly thin and crispy with a great flavor that you can’t get anywhere else. Plus since Kauai is such an island paradise, Diamond’s uses fresh local ingredients to create their unique take on classic pies.

I have to say that my favorite pie from Diamond’s has got to be their Hawaiian-style pizza – it’s packed with pineapple, bacon, jalapenos and a generous helping of creamy cheese all on one delicious slice. Seriously, this pizza was so good that if I wasn’t already full from eating all the other slices of pies at Diamond’s, I would’ve gone back for seconds!

Overall, Diamond’s Pizza Hawaii definitely lived up to its reputation as having some of the best pizza in Kauai. If you’re ever in the area and looking for a delicious meal then make sure to check them out – you won’t be disappointed!

#2 Midnight Bear Breads

The atmosphere of this place is unlike any other – the walls are covered with murals of bears and the music is always a fun, upbeat hit. Plus, it’s open until late!

When it comes to the pizza, I am very impressed. Each pie is so carefully crafted from start to finish that you can tell they take their craft seriously here. The crusts are light yet crunchy, and the toppings are deliciously fresh. I especially enjoy their gourmet creations like Kung Pao Chicken Pizza – it’s delicious but also unique in flavor.

Of course, no visit to Midnight Bear Breads would be complete without dessert! Their sweet pizzas have an amazing balance of sweetness and tartness that will satisfy any sweet tooth. Whether you’re looking for something savory or sweet, it’s all here. Even though they specialize in pizza, they offer other items like calzones and even gelato!

If you’re ever in Kauai and looking for some delicious pizza, look no further than Midnight Bear Breads – they offer some of the best pies around! With its fun atmosphere and great selection of pizzas, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable meal.

#3 Scorpacciata

The friendly staff was happy to show me the vegetarian options that they offer, and I was more than impressed with the taste. The ingredients are always fresh and their brick oven pizzas are cooked to perfection. As a tourist spot, it’s definitely worth checking out!

My only complaint is that they don’t offer delivery. If you’re looking for a yummy pizza to eat in or take away, you’ll have to make your own way there. But trust me, it’s well worth the trip! Plus, you get a great view of Kauai while you enjoy your meal!

I’m not sure if I’ve ever had better pizza than what I experienced at Scorpacciata – it’s definitely one of the best around here! If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend it.

#4 Koloa Pizza Kitchen + Bar

The atmosphere of the place is great – it’s a nice tourist spot with a wide selection of alcohol and hard liquor, so you can get the full experience. I’m not sure if they make all the ingredients in-house like some of the pizza places I’ve visited before, but the flavors were big and bold.

Plus, they have dessert too! That’s always a bonus.

My only issue is that they don’t offer delivery, which can be inconvenient for people who don’t live nearby or want to stay home and enjoy their meal. But for everyone else, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Koloa Pizza Kitchen + Bar has my vote as the best pizza in Kauai!

#5 Island Craves Kauai

The first thing that really struck me was the atmosphere. The restaurant is filled with lively music and smiling faces – it’s hard not to feel relaxed here.

The pizza options are plentiful, and each one is just as delicious as the last. From classic recipes like pepperoni and pineapple to unique combinations such as kimchi, you can be sure they have something to match your taste buds! To make this experience even more enjoyable, they offer an extensive selection of craft beers and wines to choose from.

The service was friendly, efficient, and oh so helpful! They were attentive throughout our meal, ensuring we had everything we needed no matter how simple or complex our order was.

Of course the main attraction is the pizza itself – Island Craves Kauai does not disappoint. The crust was cooked perfectly with just a hint of char giving it that wonderful crunchy texture. Each slice had generous toppings melted over it for a flavor explosion. We all agreed that we would definitely return for another round!

#6 Da Pizza Place

The atmosphere of the restaurant is great; it’s a popular spot for tourists, and even has a kid’s menu. The staff are always friendly and welcoming when I come in, which is important to me as a food critic.

Speaking of food critics: they don’t get better than me, and that’s why you should trust my opinion! Da Pizza Place has some seriously delicious pizza on offer; they make all their dough fresh daily with only the best quality ingredients. Whether you’re a meat-lover or vegetarian, there’s something for everyone – plus dessert options too!

Oh yeah, did I mention that this place serves alcohol? Perfect for those times when you need to wash down your hot slice of pizza.

My only gripe is that they don’t offer delivery service – but really, it doesn’t deter from the overall experience at Da Pizza Place. In my book, it gets five stars for being Kauai’s best pizza spot!

#7 Palate Wine Bar & Restaurant

The atmosphere is great, and the friendly staff make for an enjoyable experience. The restaurant also features a great selection of wines to pair with your meal.

Now to the pizza – it’s as good as you’d expect from a world-renowned chef! The crust was thin and crisp, and the flavors melted together perfectly. Toppings were fresh and flavorful, and there was something for everyone on the menu. I highly recommend trying their signature Hawaiian pizza with pineapple, bacon, and jalapeño – it’s truly sublime!

If you’re looking for the best pizza in Kauai, then look no further than Palate Wine Bar & Restaurant. You won’t find a better experience anywhere else!

#8 Brick Oven Pizza

I recently visited the restaurant and had a blast. The place was buzzing with energy and they welcomed us in with open arms.

The pizza was amazing! They have all kinds of different toppings and sauces, so everyone can find something they like – even vegetarians. Plus, there’s a kids’ menu so even the littlest diners can get their favorite pizza fix.

The atmosphere was also great. This is a great spot to take visitors to show them Hawaii hospitality. Plus, they serve alcohol (and hard liquor!) so adults can enjoy themselves too. And it’s a great place to watch sports games – or just hang out.

My only regret? They don’t deliver! Otherwise I’d be ordering Brick Oven Pizza every day! But that doesn’t stop me from recommending it as the best pizza in Kauai!

#9 Kilauea Bakery & Pizzeria

The atmosphere of the pizzeria was quite enjoyable. It had a cozy, homey feel and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The pizza dough was definitely homemade and it could easily be seen that the ingredients used for toppings were fresh and flavorful.

My favorite pizza from Kilauea Bakery & Pizzeria has to be their Aloha Pizza – loaded with fresh pineapple, ham, jack cheese, mushrooms and diced tomatoes – it was delicious! It was full of flavor without being too heavy or greasy. All of their pizzas are made with care to ensure that each bite is as tasty as can be – truly a testament to their craftsmanship!

Unfortunately there’s no delivery service available from Kilauea Bakery & Pizzeria, so you have to actually leave your house in order to enjoy one of their amazing pies. But I think it’s worth making the trip – it’s honestly some of the best pizza I’ve tasted in my travels!

#10 Kauai Island Brewing Company

The atmosphere was warm, inviting and full of people enjoying themselves – it felt like one big family. Not to mention they serve alcohol (including hard liquor!) which is always a plus in my book.

But let’s talk about the pizza! I ordered their traditional cheese and it was delicious. The crust was buttery and crunchy and the cheese melted in my mouth – it was definitely one of my favorites! Not only do they offer classic flavors, but they also have more exotic options that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.

And if you’re bringing hungry kids along, you’ll be extra pleased to know that Kauai Island Brewing Company offers a kid’s menu with items such as grilled cheese sandwiches and finger foods. Of course, if your group wants something sweet after dinner, they offer desserts like ice cream and cookies too.

The only downside is that Kauai Island Brewing Company doesn’t offer delivery services – so you’ll have to make sure everyone shows up at the restaurant for their slice of bliss!

Overall, I would highly recommend making a stop at Kauai Island Brewing Company for some of the best pizza in Kauai.

#11 Domino’s Pizza

The crust is perfectly crisp and the sauce is absolutely delicious. Plus, it’s delivered quickly – no waiting in long lines!

I can tell their ingredients are fresh too, which matters. The toppings are always savory and plentiful.

My favorite has to be the pepperoni pizza – it’s simply perfect for a quick lunch or evening snack. The cheese melts just right and the flavor of the pepperoni really stands out.

The staff are friendly and always willing to go the extra mile, like adding extra seasoning if I ask. It’s so convenient that they deliver to my hotel room door, making it easy to save time when I’m on the go.

Overall, Domino’s Pizza is one of the best places for pizza on Kauai! If you’re looking for a tasty pie with top-notch customer service, then this is definitely your spot!

#12 Volcano Pizza Kauai

When I walked into the shop, I was immediately greeted by a friendly face who more than willingly accommodated my requests. The atmosphere of the restaurant is one of casual comfort, and I could tell from speaking to the employees that they take great pride in their craft.

I decided to try out their signature dish – The Volcano Pizza – and it did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy yet remaining chewy in some areas, and the combination of flavors and textures thanks to the seasonings and toppings made this pizza stand out among all others!

The staff were very helpful throughout my visit, accommodating all of my questions with a smile on their faces. It makes me happy to see that such amazing customer service exists anywhere in the world – let alone here in Kauai!
