I’ve been all over the world in search of the perfect pizza, sampling and savoring slices from dozens of pizzerias. My latest stop was Kendall, FL and it proved to be quite a delicious experience! After trying 12 pizza places, I’m happy to report that I’ve found some great pies in this charming town.

#1 Acqua e Farina

The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual and comfortable, but what really makes this place special is the amazing pizza they serve. The thin crust is perfectly crisp and the ingredients are always fresh. For toppings, my favorite combination is the classic margherita with mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil.

The service here is also top-notch – as a food critic I like that they know me by name! The wait staff are friendly and attentive, always making sure that my dining experience is up to par.

But all this would be nothing without their delicious pizzas! Each slice is carefully crafted with love and care, and it shows in each bite. Whether you’re looking for a simple pepperoni or an elaborate veggie option, Acqua e Farina does not disappoint. The result? The best pizza in Kendall—hands down!

#2 Vice City Pizza Downtown Dadeland

Not only does this place offer delicious slices that never disappoint, but it also has a great atmosphere and serves alcohol (and hard liquor, for those wild nights).

As someone who enjoys a good dessert to top off my meal, I was thrilled to find out that Vice City Pizza Downtown Dadeland offers a variety of sweet treats. With these options, I can have myself an awesome pizza and dessert combo.

The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery services; however, their location is super convenient and easy to get to in downtown Dadeland. You can easily hop on the MetroMover train or drive yourself over if you’re within walking distance.

All in all, I highly recommend Vice City Pizza Downtown Dadeland to anyone looking for a great pizza experience. They are truly one of the best pizza places in Kendall!

#3 Mienzza Pizza&Grill

The first thing that stood out to me upon arriving at Mienzza was the atmosphere; it was warm and inviting, with a delightful interior design and friendly staff. The menu is extensive, with a wide variety of pizza styles from classic Italian margherita to unique flavors like potato-bacon-jalapeno!

But what really sets Mienzza apart from other pizza places in Kendall is the quality of their ingredients. From the fresh mozzarella cheese to the zesty hand-picked tomatoes, everything I tasted was top notch! My favorite dish was the roasted garlic and tomato pizza – it had just enough heat to balance the sweetness of the roasted garlic and rich tomato sauce.

I’d recommend Mienzza Pizza&Grill to anyone looking for an unforgettable pizza experience. They’ve definitely earned my vote for “best pizza in Kendall”!

#4 Pina’s Pizza

From the warm and welcoming atmosphere when you first walk in, to the perfectly crispy yet chewy crusts made fresh daily, Pina’s Pizza is a must-try for pizza lovers. The toppings are plentiful and always fresh, with a variety of options that appeal to everyone from meat lovers to veggie fanatics. My favorite creation from here is the ‘Pina Pie,’ which features Italian salami, pepperoni, red onions, green peppers, mozzarella and parmesan cheese all on top of their house-made marinara sauce. I also tried their specialty ‘The Grandma’ slice with its crisp on the outside yet soft on the inside crust that was simply heavenly!

The staff at Pina’s Pizza are friendly and helpful – they took the time to explain all their special menu items and recommended some great pairings for me to try. They even gave me a free sample of one of their signature Chicago pies so I could really get a taste of what makes them so special.

All in all, I can confidently say that Pina’s Pizza is one of the best pizzas in Kendall! Once you try it for yourself you’ll see why it’s worth going out of your way for this delicious slice of heaven!

#5 K Pizza “Pizza al Taglio”

This place is truly a hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the smells that waft through the air will make you drool. Even before tasting their creations, I knew they were on to something special.

The pizza itself was amazing! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, yet there was still plenty of delicious sauce and cheese to enjoy. They have all sorts of creative topping combinations, too – my favorite being their ‘Buffalo Mozzarella and Fig’ pizza. It’s definitely worth trying out!

I can honestly say that K Pizza “Pizza al Taglio” deserves its reputation as serving up some of the best pizza in Kendall – if not beyond! A must-try for pizza lovers everywhere.

#6 Pulcinella Pizzeria

The owner, Pietro, is a real character – he’s constantly running around the restaurant making sure the guests are having a great time and enjoying the pizza. The atmosphere of the place gives an authentic Italian feel that makes you want to stay for hours.

Speaking of the pizza…it’s definitely a 10/10. I tried the classic Margherita which was incredibly thin and crispy with just enough sauce and cheese to give it that authentic Italian flavor. The other pizzas on the menu looked equally delicious, so it’ll be hard to pick my favorite next time!

But, great pizza isn’t all Pulcinella Pizzeria has to offer – their pasta is also excellent. I had some rigatoni with pesto sauce which was light and flavorful without being greasy or heavy.

All in all, I’d highly recommend Pulcinella Pizzeria if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Kendall!

#7 MOD Pizza

First of all, their pizza is truly fresh and delicious. I’ve tried nearly every topping combination they offer and haven’t been disappointed yet. The crust is crispy and flavorful, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the toppings are always optimally distributed.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is also a lot of fun. It’s got a cool vibe with plenty of people there to enjoy pizza as much as I do! Plus, the staff are always very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

And if all that wasn’t enough – there’s really good value for money here too. A standard 11-inch pizza should be enough for two people to share (no pun intended). So you don’t need to break the bank to enjoy the best pizza in Kendall.

#8 LOCAL PIE

The first thing that stands out about LOCAL PIE is their variety of vegetarian options. I’m all for trying to reduce my meat consumption, and LOCAL PIE has several delicious veggie pizzas that are sure to please even the most dedicated carnivore.

The atmosphere at LOCAL PIE is warm and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating and a friendly staff. But, I must warn you – there is no delivery! You’ll need to make the trek down if you want to enjoy their amazing pizza. But believe me, it’s worth it for some of the best pizza in town.

Overall, I highly recommend that you visit LOCAL PIE if you’re looking for a great pizza experience in Kendall. Even after traveling the world tasting all kinds of different pizzas, I’m still drawn back to this spot!

#9 Gaetano’s Pizza & Pasta

From the moment I stepped in, I felt the atmosphere was truly unique – dimly lit and cozy, with a distinct Italian vibe. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing great service throughout my experience.

The menu is vast, with numerous specialty pizzas to satisfy all cravings. My personal favorite was their Sicilian style pizza – light and fluffy crust, fresh toppings and just enough cheese to keep you wanting more! The sauce had a perfect zing to it that complemented the toppings really well.

And that’s not all! Gaetano’s also offers delicious pasta dishes that will make any Italian grandmother proud. Prepared perfectly al dente with incredibly flavorful sauces, these dishes are definitely worth trying. Plus, they offer gluten-free options for those who are gluten-free conscious.

Overall, I highly recommend Gaetano’s Pizza & Pasta for anyone looking for great pizza in Kendall – you won’t be disappointed!

#10 Two Brothers Pizzeria & Restaurant

The atmosphere was quite cozy and inviting. I felt right at home as soon as I walked in. The staff greeted me with a warm welcome and asked about my pizza preferences.

I already had an idea what to order since it was highly recommended, so I went with the ‘Tommy Two-Cheese’. It did not disappoint! The cheese melted perfectly on the thin crust, the sauce had just the right amount of tanginess, and the toppings were evenly distributed – all of which made for one amazing pizza!

I also had their garlic knots which were also delicious. They were soft and warm on the inside, and lightly crisp on the outside. Perfectly seasoned too!

Overall, Two Brothers Pizzeria & Restaurant should be your go-to spot for a great pizza experience in Kendall. And if you’re up for it, bring a few friends to split a few pies and enjoy an amazing feast!

#11 The Big Cheese of Miami

From the second I stepped inside this restaurant, I knew it was something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and when I saw the menu, I knew I had to try their pizza. After ordering a slice of pepperoni, my expectations were high — and boy, did The Big Cheese deliver!

The crust was thin but crispy and tossed perfectly in Olive oil. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the pepperoni had just the right amount of spice. To top it off, there was plenty of cheese – gooey and delicious!

I gave them five stars without hesitation. It’s not often that you find a restaurant in Kendall that serves this level of pizza – The Big Cheese is truly the best in town!

#12 Pizza Johny’s NY style Pizza

Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately struck by its cozy ambiance. The walls were adorned with vintage-style posters of classic NYC-style pizza slices and the wood paneling gave it a rustic vibe.

The waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring that my visit was as enjoyable as possible. They made sure to ask me which toppings I preferred so the chef could make me the perfect slice while I waited at the bar.

When my pizza arrived, everything about it spoke of quality. The aroma of melted cheese and spices wafted up from the plate, tempting me to dig in right away! When I took my first bite, it revealed an unbelievably delightful medley of flavors—a delectable combination of savory and sweet and every topping perfectly balanced on top. Every bite was a joyous experience—the crust crispy yet chewy at the same time, and each topping cooked to perfection!

All in all, Pizza Johny’s NY style Pizza is absolutely worth trying out when you’re craving that classic New York taste—I’m definitely coming back for more. You’ll be sure to find some of the best pizza in Kendall here!
