#1 Puleo’s Pizzeria
- Has some vegetarian options
- Offers dessert
The first thing that impressed me was the atmosphere. Upon entering Puleo’s I immediately felt like I had stepped into a pizza themed paradise. The waitstaff were friendly, and the decor had a modern yet classic Italian vibe.
The best part of my experience at Puleo’s Pizzeria, however, was the pizza itself. The crust was thin and crisp, the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the cheese was perfectly melted. I gave their classic Margherita a try, but they also offer some more creative toppings such as pulled pork and maple syrup pizza.
I can honestly say that Puleo’s is one of the best places for pizza in Knoxville TN! From the atmosphere to the quality of ingredients used in their pizzas, it really has it all!

The atmosphere is great, with large tables perfect for sharing pizza with friends or family. Plus, they serve alcohol so you can enjoy a nice cold beer or glass of wine while chowing down. They have some vegetarian options too, which was really nice to see.
But it’s their dessert that really knocked my socks off! The flavor of the sourdough crust combined with the freshness of their ingredients is something I could eat every day. It’s insanely good!

I couldn’t believe how delicious their pizzas were. They use locally sourced, fresh ingredients to top each and every pie, which definitely shows in the flavor. The crust was perfectly crisp but still had a nice chewiness to it, the cheese was gooey and stringy without being too greasy, and the toppings were incredibly flavorful.
The staff at Cruze Farm Pizza Barn were also really friendly and helpful, willing to answer all of my questions about their pies and even suggest a few different topping options for me to try out. I tried one with roasted tomatoes, spicy sausage, and mushrooms – it was amazing! The flavors blended together so well that I found myself wishing for more.

#5 Blaze Pizza
- Has a kid’s menu
- Nice tourist spot
- Serves alcohol
- Has some vegetarian options

At first, I was skeptical. The concept of a fast-fire’d pizzeria sounded too good to be true. But I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of their pies. They offer fresh, one-of-a-kind pizza that’s cooked in just 180 seconds in an open, brick-oven kitchen.
The toppings were incredibly delicious and amazing. I chose to get the S’more Pizza which comes topped with chocolate sauce, mini marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbles. It was a delicious combination that I will surely be coming back for more.
The staff at Blaze Pizza is also very friendly and accommodating. Everyone from the cashier to the chef was so helpful and went out of their way to make sure my experience was enjoyable.
Overall, if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Knoxville TN then look no further than Blaze Pizza!

Though it doesn’t offer delivery, this joint more than makes up for that with its other offerings. Sure, it offers delicious pizza, but it also serves alcohol, has some vegetarian options, and even offers dessert!
It’s also a great place to take in the sights of Knoxville. Not only was I able to enjoy the view of the city while tossing back a few cold beers, but I was also able to catch some of the local sports teams while they played. It really added an extra layer of fun to my meal!
Perhaps best of all is that South Coast Pizza is consistently serving up quality pizza. Every slice I tried was delicious and filling, making sure that I went home happy and satisfied.

#8 Elidios’s Pizza
- Offers dessert
- Nice tourist spot
- Has some vegetarian options
The crust is light, airy and full of flavor. The sauce is always made fresh to order and the cheese is rich and creamy. Every time I go there I can’t help but be impressed with their commitment to using top quality ingredients in every bite.
But what really sets Elidios’s Pizza apart from other pizza restaurants is their unique toppings! They always have something new and exciting that will satisfy any pizza lover’s craving. Whether it be a sweet or savory topping or something unexpected like a salty antipasti, I’m never disappointed by Elidios’s creative combinations.
And if you’re looking for a perfect slice of pizza on-the-go, Elidios’s slices are so large you only need one to fill you up! Plus, the price for a slice doesn’t break the bank either – making it easy to enjoy their delicious fare without breaking the bank.

#9 Pizza Palace
- Has a kid’s menu
- Offers dessert
- Nice tourist spot
- No delivery
My first visit to Pizza Palace was a real treat. Not only did I get to enjoy delicious traditional pizza, but the restaurant also offers a killer kid’s menu as well! This was great for my little ones who were still too young to appreciate the finer points of a great slice.
On my subsequent visits, I noticed that they also serve a great selection of desserts, which was an unexpected surprise in addition to their delicious pasta dishes. And if you’re looking for a fun tourist spot, Pizza Palace is the perfect spot; it has plenty of seating options and it occasionally hosts live music events.
Unfortunately, there is one major downside: no delivery service. It’s understandable since they already have so much going on but it would be great if they could offer that service too! Nonetheless, I highly recommend Pizza Palace for all your pizza cravings in Knoxville TN; it’s definitely worth checking out.
#10 Sergeant Pepperoni’s Pizzeria – Bearden

The atmosphere is warm, cozy and inviting, but the pizzas themselves are truly out of this world. I’ve sampled a few of their Signature Pizzas, and each one I tasted was beyond delicious! The toppings are fresh and the crust was cooked to perfection. The menu also offers a wide variety of other options, such as salads, sandwiches, calzones, pasta dishes and more.
And that’s not even mentioning their top-notch customer service; the staff is super friendly and always willing to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. #11 Hard Knox Pizzeria

- Nice tourist spot
- Serves alcohol
- Has some vegetarian options
- No delivery
As soon as I entered the restaurant, I knew it was going to be a special experience. The cozy atmosphere, tables covered in red gingham tablecloths and checkered floors were all very inviting and pleasant.
The menu had a nice selection of pizzas with vegetarian options that were surprisingly delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.
I definitely recommend trying the classic pepperoni pizza if you’re looking for something traditional or going for something more adventurous like their Mediterranean pizza! The crust was crispy and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.
But what really set Hard Knox Pizzeria apart from other places was that they offered beer and wine to go with your meal as well as a few desserts like tiramisu and cannoli.
One thing to keep in mind is that there’s no delivery service so you’ll have to eat in-house or take it out. But it’s definitely worth taking the time to visit this pizzeria if you’re in Knoxville TN – it’s without a doubt one of the best around!
#12 Blaze Pizza
- Nice tourist spot
- Serves alcohol

It’s certainly up there when it comes to the holy trinity of pizza: crust, sauce, and cheese. The crust is slightly charred and cooked to perfection, while the sauce is well-seasoned with just a hint of sweetness. And speaking of cheese, this stuff was heavenly! It was creamy and flavorful, but not overwhelming – just how good pizza cheese should be.
And that’s not all! Blaze Pizza has an amazing topping selection – from classics like pepperoni and sausage to more exotic options like artichokes and goat cheese. This place really gives you the freedom to make the perfect pie for your palate.
But don’t take my word for it; try Blaze Pizza yourself and you’ll see why it’s known as one of the best pizzerias in Knoxville TN! I guarantee that after your first bite, you’ll be hooked!
Best Deep Dish Pizza – Rosati’s Pizza
- Offers dessert
- Serves alcohol
- Does not accept reservations
Upon walking into Rosati’s, I was hit with an intoxicating aroma of cheesy goodness that made me weak at the knees. And guess what? They serve alcohol! I mean, what’s better than pairing a delicious slice of pizza with a cold beer? It’s the perfect way to wash down all that cheesy goodness.
Now, let’s talk about their deep dish pizza. It’s a glorious masterpiece that deserves its own pedestal in the Louvre. The crust is as thick and buttery as my Aunt Gladys’ hips, and it’s piled high with toppings that will make your taste buds do a happy dance. Seriously, it’s like a pizza mountain, and I was ready to conquer it!
But, alas, there is a downside. Rosati’s does not accept reservations. I had to wait longer for a table than it takes for my Aunt Gladys to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. And let me tell you, that woman takes her sweet time. However, the wait was well worth it. Plus, they offer dessert to help distract you from your impatience. I highly recommend the cannoli – it’s like a little slice of heaven.
In conclusion, Rosati’s Pizza is a must-visit for any pizza enthusiast in knoxville. The combination of their mouthwatering deep dish pizza, alcohol options, and delectable desserts will leave you in a state of pure bliss. Just be prepared to wait a bit, but trust me, it’s worth it. Happy pizza-ing!
