I recently spent my time touring the town, sampling 12 different places and trying to find the best pizza in Lakeland FL. After wolfing down slice after slice, I’m ready to report back on my findings.

As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I knew there was something special here. The walls were covered in colorful posters of classic Italian dishes and the staff was dressed up in matching chef outfits that made me feel right at home.

The menu had a great variety of options for all kind of pizza eaters and I took no time to zero in on what I wanted – a classic Italian-style Margherita pizza with basil and extra cheese.

The pizza arrived hot from the oven and it smelt heavenly! I took my first bite and immediately fell in love with their delicious flavor combination. The crust was light yet chewy enough to hold all the tasty toppings together. Every single topping seemed to work together perfectly and the sauce had an incredible balance of sweet, salty and spicy flavors that created an astonishing harmony on my tongue.

To top it off, my meal came with a side of garlic buttery breadsticks that were crunchy on the outside but creamy on the inside – truly delicious!

The atmosphere of Palace Pizza was a pleasant surprise. It had a casual yet vibey feel, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I felt right at home.

The first thing I noticed about this pizza joint was the friendly atmosphere. Everyone was smiling and welcoming, and the staff was more than happy to answer any questions we had.

The second thing I noticed was the incredible aroma coming from the open kitchen. It smelled like a pizza heaven!

And then came the moment of truth—the taste test. Wow! This pizza was out of this world. The crust was light, crisp, and flavorful, while the toppings were fresh, savory, and perfectly cooked. We tried several different pizzas, and each one exceeded our expectations. Even their vegan options tasted amazing!

The atmosphere at Pizza Bakers is quaint and cozy. It’s a great place to take your family, or just grab a quick bite alone. The staff was friendly and attentive, which always makes me feel welcome.

I decided to go with the classic Pepperoni pizza, but had a hard time choosing since the menu offers so many flavor combinations! I settled on the classic, and it was absolutely delicious. The cheese was melty, the toppings were fresh, and the crust was perfectly crispy. It was definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted!

One thing that would make Pizza Bakers even better is if they offered delivery so that I could have this amazing pizza in my own home anytime I wanted. But hey – it’s worth it if you don’t mind taking a trip out there for some of this deliciousness!

Let me start by saying that the atmosphere of this place is like no other. The shop is intimate and cozy, with a great feeling that nothing could go wrong. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure to take extra care when preparing my order.

But the real star of the show here has to be the pizza! From the first bite I knew why J. Burns’ Pizza Shop had become such a hit in Lakeland FL. The crust was perfectly crispy, yet light and airy – no cardboard here! Topped with tomato sauce that had a deep flavor without being overly sweet, followed by layers of gooey cheese and succulent toppings – it was pure perfection on a plate.

The best part? My pizza wasn’t done yet – it came out of the oven covered in herbs and spices for an added crunch and flavor!

My journey began with a search through countless pizza places around the area, and Jet’s Pizza quickly rose above the rest. When I stepped inside the restaurant, the place was warm and inviting, with a relaxed atmosphere.

The menu items were so varied that it was hard to decide what type of pizza to get. I settled for a classic pepperoni with extra cheese, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The familiar combination of melted cheese and crispy pepperonis was enough to make my mouth water from the minute I took my first bite.

The crust on this pizza was amazing – fluffy yet crunchy at the same time – like a slice of fresh baked bread! Additionally, you could really taste the quality of ingredients that Jet’s uses; everything from the olive oil drizzled over each pizza to the herbs sprinkled on top stood out as truly special.

The atmosphere of the place is great, with a friendly and inviting vibe. The service is top-notch too – my waiter knew the menu like the back of his hand and gave me great advice on what to order.

I had a few slices from different menus and each one was delicious! I especially loved the classic margherita pizza – it was fresh, cheesy, and full of flavor. I also tried their garlic knots, which were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning.

The atmosphere at Primo’s Pizzeria is so inviting; it feels like a classic Italian restaurant with muted lighting, wood-paneled walls, and red and white checkerboard tablecloths. I sat down to enjoy the delicious aroma of freshly made pizza wafting through the air and was immediately impressed!

The menu features a variety of delicious pizzas from classic Margherita to unique combinations like BBQ Chicken and Pesto. The service at Primo’s Pizzeria is great; the wait staff are courteous, friendly, and always willing to make personal recommendations for what toppings to get on your pizza.

I ordered the classic Margherita pizza, which came out looking as good as it smelled – perfectly cooked with just the right amount of melted cheese and fresh tomatoes. As soon as I took my first bite, I knew that I had found the best pizza in Lakeland FL! The crust was thin but still fluffy, while the cheese and tomato flavor melded together perfectly. It was truly an amazing experience!

I’ll definitely be coming back to Primo’s Pizzeria next time I’m in town – it’s definitely one of my favorite places for pizza now!

As soon as I stepped inside, I could smell the freshly-baked dough, mixed with the mozzarella and pepperoni. The atmosphere was warm and inviting; clearly Sorrento’s is a family-friendly pizza joint.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, helping me to choose from their wide variety of delicious toppings. My taste buds were dancing as I opted for a meat-lovers pizza with some extra cheese – it tasted like heaven! The perfectly cooked crust had just the right amount of crunch and flavour, making for an overall satisfying experience.

Adding to my pleasure was the cost – at Sorrento’s you don’t sacrifice quality for affordability. Their prices are reasonable, so you can enjoy great pizza without breaking the bank.

#11 Romeo’s Pizza & Pasta

From the moment I stepped inside, I could tell that Romeo’s was the real deal. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the smells of authentic Italian cuisine were wafting through the air.

I went to MJ’s on a Friday night, and it was bustling! There were lots of happy customers enjoying their delicious pizzas.

When my pizza arrived, I was absolutely blown away by the quality. The dough had been freshly-made that morning and was perfectly cooked with a crunchy crust. The toppings were fresh, plentiful, and flavorful. And the cheese – oh my goodness! It was savory and melty in all the right ways – honestly, some of the best cheese I’ve ever tasted on pizza.

The wings were just as good. They came served hot with a choice of barbecue or buffalo sauce (fortunately for me, both!). They were juicy yet crispy – clearly cooked to order – and so flavorful they melted in my mouth!

But what really makes MJ’s stand out is their commitment to customer satisfaction. From the accommodating staff to their generous portions, they clearly value their customers and put them first.

In conclusion: after a lot of pizza tasting around the world, I can confidently say that MJ’s Pizza &Wings serves up some of the best pizza in Lakeland FL!
