Having eaten pizza in some of the biggest cities around the world, I’m no stranger to searching for that perfect slice. But Lancaster OH had me pleasantly surprised with its selection of delicious pizzerias. With twelve different places on my list, I set out on a journey through this quaint Ohio town to find out which one is truly the best!

I’ll take you along with me as I search for the top spot serving up pies in Lancaster OH, but fair warning: you may want to bring along a bib-there’s plenty of drooling to be done here!

#1 King’s Grand Central

The atmosphere alone is enough to make you feel like royalty – a grand and inviting space with high ceilings, large mirrors adorned with regal frames, and an overall air of elegance. The waiters were friendly and attentive, adding to the great ambiance.

But the best part was, of course, the pizza! Incredible flavors packed into each bite – teeming with fresh basil, mozzarella cheese, zesty tomatoes, and succulent sausage. It was cooked perfectly, giving a nice crunch on the crust and providing a soft yet flavorful interior.

The service was top notch too; my order was taken promptly (I had my choice of thin crust or deep dish) and delivered in no time at all. And they certainly didn’t skimp on the toppings either!

If you’re ever in Lancaster OH looking for some mouth-watering pizza, King’s Grand Central is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it as one of the best places around for pizza!

#2 Glass City Pizzeria

When I walked in, I didn’t know what to expect. The interior was cozy and inviting with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were all so helpful and friendly – they really made me feel at home.

The menu had a great selection of pizzas, from classics like Margherita to more adventurous creations like the Supreme pizza. Needless to say, I was spoilt for choice! After a bit of deliberation, I chose the Supreme pizza and it certainly did not disappoint. The thin crust was crispy and fragrant. And the toppings were generous and flavourful – made with freshly grated cheese and zesty tomato sauce.

I can confidently say that Glass City Pizzeria serves up some of the best pizza in Lancaster OH. It is definitely worth a visit for any pizza lover out there!

#3 Nick’s Restaurant & Pizza

I was truly impressed with the flavor and texture of their pies — the crust had just enough crunch, and the sauce was flavorful without being too sweet. The cheese was gooey and plentiful, and all of the toppings were perfectly cooked.

The atmosphere of Nick’s Restaurant & Pizza was also great; cozy enough to be inviting, but vibrant enough to keep the energy in the room high. I could tell that this place definitely puts a lot of effort into crafting the perfect pizza experience for their diners.

Of course, what would a pizza place experience be without good customer service? I have to say that Nick’s did a particularly wonderful job in this area; they were friendly and accommodating, despite such a large party coming in at once!

All in all, I can confidently say that Nick’s Restaurant & Pizza is one of the best places to eat pizza in Lancaster OH. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian-style pie — or just want some great food — this is definitely your best bet!

#4 Zane Trace Station

Upon entering, I realized this wasn’t just an ordinary stop-off on the side of the road. The wood-paneled walls set a cozy vibe and the warm lighting made it feel like home.

The pizza selection is second to none with unlimited topping possibilities. To top it off (literally!), they’ve got a great selection of beer on tap so you can wash down your slice in style.

When it comes to customer service, Zane Trace Station has it nailed down. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure that everyone’s experience exceeds expectation.

Unfortunately, there is one downside; they don’t deliver! But if you’re passing through Lancaster OH and have time to spare, Zane Trace Station should be your go-to for the best pizza around!

Let me tell you, I have tasted pizza in Rome, the streets of NYC, and the food courts of Chicago. But nothing compares to the unique, delicious pizza I recently experienced at Pizza Crossing Lancaster.

The first thing that caught my eye was their wide selection of toppings – everything from pepperoni to artichoke hearts! They also feature an impressive mix of sauces such as marinara and garlic butter. And if that wasn’t enough, they offer a range of specialty pizzas like a mac ‘n’ cheese white pie and a prosciutto and goat cheese option. Talk about tasty!

My favorite part though is definitely their craft crusts. They offer butter-infused crusts for maximum flavor and fluffy interior. Or you can get one of their crispier crusts for those times when you just want to crunch into something delicious.

I recently visited Pizza Cottage on my latest quest for the best pizza in Lancaster OH and I must say, I was not disappointed! The service was top-notch and the staff was exceptionally friendly.

But let’s get to the star – the pizza! The thin crust had a nice crunch and it was liberally covered with cheese and toppings that were just full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh and I could tell from its appearance that quality control is taken seriously at Pizza Cottage.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting and cozy, like you just stepped into a little slice of Italy. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, and the pizza was cooked to perfection!

The crust was crispy without being too crunchy, the sauce had a hint of sweetness that made it instantly craveable, and the cheese melted perfectly with every bite. And let’s talk about the toppings- Salami? Check. Pepperoni? Check. Mushrooms? Yes! They thoughtfully included all my favorite toppings, so I could enjoy every piece with an array of flavors.

Overall, Sugar Bears Pizzeria is one of the best pizza places I’ve tried in Lancaster OH- and believe me, I’ve tried them all! If you’re ever in town looking for a delicious meal that’ll make your taste buds happy, then this is definitely the place to go.

I was blown away by the chewy, flavorful crust and the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. The topping combinations are endless and perfectly cooked for a mouth-watering experience.

The restaurant itself is cozy with warm lighting, making it a great spot for date night or an intimate gathering of friends. The staff were friendly and let us sample multiple varieties of pizza before we decided on our order.

What really sold me was the atmosphere. The owners had taken great care to give us an authentic Italian pizzeria experience complete with Italian music playing in the background and vintage photos adorning the walls.

#9 Pink Cricket Restaurant

The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, with modern decor and a large variety of seating. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, so you don’t have to worry about getting lost in line or anything like that.

When it comes to the pizza, I’m more than satisfied. They have an incredible selection of toppings for all tastes and preferences, from traditional Italian recipes to savory American favorites. With so much variety, you can easily find something that both adults and kids will love.

The crust is crispy but not overdone, which makes it perfect in my book. The sauce has a deep flavor that adds a unique twist to every bite. And the cheese! Wow! It’s creamy, flavorful and melted just right – enough said!

All in all, if you’re looking for the best pizza in Lancaster OH then Pink Cricket Restaurant is definitely one to check out. The quality of the food is outstanding and the service is top-notch – not to mention reasonably priced! To put it simply: this place can’t be beat!

#10 Cristy’s Pizza

It was a real treat to visit this place. The atmosphere is cozy yet energetic, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. The pizza itself is sensational. From the thin, crispy crust to the generous amounts of cheese and delicious toppings, I was immediately in love.

My favorite part was how creative their flavors were – something you won’t find at other ordinary pizza places. For example, they have a steak and blue cheese pizza that’s truly out of this world!

The bottom line is that Cristy’s Pizza has some of the best pizza in Lancaster OH. With its delightful atmosphere, generous portions and unique flavors, it’s definitely worth checking out when in town.

#11 Donatos Pizza

I’m not just saying that to get a free pizza – I’ve been to dozens of countries trying all kinds of different types of pizza, and Donatos stands out as one of the best.

The atmosphere is great; the restaurant is full of energy and the staff are always friendly. The pizzas themselves are delicious. They use high-quality ingredients for all their toppings, so you can expect there to be lots of flavour in each slice. The crust is especially good, with an artfully done combination of crunch and chewiness that really makes the entire experience special.

No matter how much variety I’ve seen in pizza around the world, none quite compare to what Donatos Pizza has to offer. It’s truly some of the best pizza in Lancaster OH!

#12 Donatos Pizza

The setup isn’t fancy, but the aroma coming out of the ovens alone is enough to make your mouth water. The menu is also simple yet diverse, featuring classic pies like pepperoni and sausage, as well as unique options like a buffalo chicken pizza. I recommend the Philly Cheesesteak pizza – it was cheesy, zesty, and filled my taste buds with delight.

The crust was just right – not too thick or thin – and cooked to perfection. The sauce was tangy but not overly sweet; it went perfectly with the toppings. Speaking of toppings, Donatos really knows how to do them right! Every single one was fresh and flavorful; no wilted veggies or limp meats here!

What really sets Donatos apart from other pizza places is their commitment to quality. Every one of their ingredients is hand-selected from local farmers and suppliers, ensuring that every bite is as delicious as possible.
