The first thing you notice when walking into Georgio’s is the delicious smell of baking pizza. The smell alone was enough to make my mouth water and my stomach growl.
The scenery is classic, homey Italian restaurant with checkered tablecloths and framed photos of Italy decorating the walls. But the real star at Georgio’s is the pizza — it’s out of this world! Every single slice is perfectly cooked, with a crispy, buttery crust and soft, gooey cheese.
The toppings are generous yet balanced and there are many interesting topping combinations to choose from. The Spicy Garlic Pizza, for example, has a great mix of flavors — garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes — that makes for an unforgettable taste experience.

Their menu had something for everyone, featuring amazing combinations like BBQ chicken, pepperoni and spinach, and even a vegan option. I opted for a classic Margherita, and it was simply divine!
The pizza itself was cooked perfectly – with just the right amount of char on the bottom that gave it an extra crunch but didn’t overpower the sauce or toppings. As I waltzed into this cozy little joint, my taste buds were dancing with anticipation. I’m a carnivorous critter by nature, but don’t fret, my fellow herbivores, because Toarmina’s does offer some vegetarian options. Who would have thought that vegetables could taste so good on a pizza?
But let’s get to the real reason I’m here – the deep dish pizza. Oh boy, was it a sight to behold! I swear, I needed a GPS just to find the bottom of that crust. It was like diving into a cheesy, saucy Jacuzzi of flavor. The crust, thick and doughy, had a perfect balance of chewiness and crunch. And the ooey-gooey cheese?
