Out of the 12 pizza places I’ve tried here, I can confidently say there’s some truly delicious pies to be had and some that might best be left off the menu.

I’m all about giving a fair shake when it comes to pizza, so I plan on discussing what made each place special and pointing out a few hiccups along the way. Bring your appetite, because I’m about to tell you all about Lexington SC’s best pizza!

#1 Knead Pizza

The atmosphere was just perfect, with the wood-fired oven giving off a hint of smoky aroma and the lively crowd filling up the place with good vibes. The staff were all friendly and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed.

As far as the pizza goes, they have a large selection that caters to any taste! Whether you’re looking for a classic margherita or something more adventurous like a white clam pizza, Knead Pizza has it all. Not to mention their unique creations like the ‘Gassonator’ which is an amazing combination of pepperoni, Canadian bacon and banana peppers – definitely one of the best pies I’ve ever tasted. Their dough is made fresh every day, ensuring that each and every slice is light and fluffy yet still has great flavor.

The portions are generous too – I couldn’t finish my slices even after several attempts! But no worries as leftovers were swiftly taken away for takeaway. Overall, Knead Pizza definitely lives up to its name by delivering some of the best pizza in Lexington SC!

#2 MOD Pizza

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, it made me feel right at home! And when I tried the pizza, it was more than worth the visit. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, and I could really taste the quality of the ingredients they used.

But what really got me hooked was their signature MOD sauce- it was like a flavor party in my mouth! It had just enough zing to keep it interesting without being overpowering.

All in all, MOD Pizza is one of my favorite pizza places around, and if you’re ever in Lexington SC looking for a great pie, I highly recommend giving them a try! You won’t be disappointed.

#3 Pizza Kovachi

What truly sets them apart from the other pizza restaurants in town is the quality of their ingredients. The crust is perfectly crisp and flavorful, while the sauce is just the right balance of tangy and sweet. Moreover, they use plenty of flavorful cheese to top off each slice.

The atmosphere at Pizza Kovachi is also worth noting. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting space where you can come with friends or family and just relax over a delicious pie. The staff is friendly and helpful, often offering suggestions on which pizzas to try depending on your preferences.

My favorite pizza at Pizza Kovachi was easily their Spinach Alfredo – it was simply divine! I’d recommend giving it a try if you’re ever in Lexington SC looking for some tasty pizza! Overall, this place has earned my seal of approval for being one of the best pizzerias in town.

#4 Palmano’s Pizzeria & Restaurant

My pizza-fueled journey began a few years ago when I first tasted Palmano’s famous Neapolitan-style pizzas. From the moment I took that first bite, I was hooked. The rich, flavorful dough combined with fresh, locally sourced ingredients made for an unforgettable experience.

The menu is full of amazing options, from classic cheese and pepperoni to more creative toppings like artichoke hearts and roasted garlic. Regardless of what you order, you can be sure it will be cooked to perfection in their wood-fired ovens.

On top of all that, the prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly and efficient. What more could you ask for?

#5 Nicky’s Pizzeria

The first thing I noticed when walking in was the large selection of delicious-looking pizzas. From classic pepperoni to a unique BBQ Chicken, there was something for everyone! Not to mention they also serve alcohol, so you can enjoy an adult beverage while you wait.

They also have a kid’s menu, which is great if you’re dining with small children. My youngest appreciates not having to try and pick something off the adult menu that he doesn’t understand.

And the best part? They offer dessert! My favorite is their giant chocolate chip cookie pizza – it’s like nothing I’ve ever tasted before.

The only downside is that they don’t deliver, but honestly it’s worth it to visit Nicky’s Pizzeria for some of the best pizza in Lexington SC.

#6 Bellis House of Pizza

Let me start by saying that I had some very high expectations for Bellis House of Pizza, and they certainly did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful – I was already looking forward to my pizza experience!

The pizza itself was beyond amazing. They offer so many different options, it can be hard to decide on just one. But after much deliberation, I finally decided on the classic Margherita pizza – and boy, was it worth it! The crust was thin with a crispy texture on the outside, while soft in the middle. The tomato sauce had the perfect combination of sweetness and acidity that made my taste buds tingle with delight!

The service at Bellis House of Pizza is second-to-none – speedy yet never rushed. It’s clear that everyone here has a passion for pizza, which makes for an even more enjoyable experience.

I had heard about Bellis House of Pizza before visiting, but my expectations have been exceeded tenfold. If you’re ever in Lexington SC looking for some truly exceptional pizza, don’t hesitate to check out Bellis House of Pizza – you won’t be disappointed!

#7 Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders

As soon as I stepped inside, I could tell that this place was going to be special. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and they welcomed me with open arms.

The pizza didn’t disappoint either; the crust was thin, crisp and flavorful (no sogginess here!), and the toppings were fresh and delicious. But what really sealed the deal for me was that Bellacino’s offers a kid’s menu so families can enjoy a meal out together. Plus, they serve alcoholic beverages in case you’re looking for something extra!

On top of all that, they even offer desserts – perfect if you want to end your meal on a sweet note.

Unfortunately there’s no delivery option from Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders – but trust me when I say it’s definitely worth taking the trip to check them out for yourself! All-in-all, I’d highly recommend this restaurant for its fantastic pizza, family-friendly atmosphere and delicious desserts.

From the first bite, I could tell that the chefs at Mellow Mushroom have perfected their craft. The crust was perfectly crunchy and the perfect thickness – not too thin and not too thick. The cheese was flavorful and melted in my mouth. As for the toppings, there’s something for everyone! You can choose from classic favorites like pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers and onions or venture out with vegan and veggie-packed options.

The atmosphere of Mellow Mushroom is warm and inviting, with cozy booths to enjoy your meal in or an outdoor deck to sit under the stars. Plus, the staff were quite friendly – always a plus in my book!

Overall, Mellow Mushroom Lexington is definitely one of the best pizza spots in town! Whether you’re looking for a quick takeout option or a cozy night out, this place will not disappoint. Highly recommend it to anyone searching for great pizza in Lexington SC!

#9 Marco’s Pizza

The atmosphere of Marco’s Pizza is electric with the classic Italian music playing in the background. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making sure that you are catered to from the moment you walk in.

The pizzas themselves at Marco’s are simply amazing. The crust was cooked to perfection and was so crispy that it created a satisfying crunch when I bit into it. The sauce was so flavorful that every last bite was filled with spicy goodness, while the toppings were fresh and tasty.

One final thing that sets Marco’s apart from other pizza places is their attention to detail. Every pizza is prepared to order with precision, ensuring that each pie comes out consistently delicious.

#10 Luce Cucina Italiano

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with the atmosphere. The restaurant had an authentic Italian feel to it and really felt like I was back in Italy.

I started off with their traditional Margherita pizza and it did not disappoint! The dough was perfectly cooked, and the tomatoes and cheese were incredibly fresh. It had just the right amount of seasoning that made this classic dish truly shine.

Next, I tried their Prosciutto pizza. Slices of nicely-cured prosciutto topped off an already scrumptious combination of melted cheeses, herbs, and sauce. The overall taste of this dish left me wanting more!

All in all, Luce Cucina Italiano is hands-down the best pizza in Lexington SC – it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in town!

#11 Pizza Hut Express

The secret to the deliciousness of their pies lies in the attention to detail that the staff puts into each order. From the perfectly cooked crust to the generous amounts of cheese and toppings, these guys really know their stuff when it comes to pizza. All of the ingredients are fresh and of top-quality, so you can be sure that you’re getting exactly what you pay for.

Besides the quality, my favorite part about Pizza Hut Express is how quickly they can get your food out to you. I’m usually in and out within a few minutes, depending on how busy it is. And with their wide selection of specialty pizzas and other dine-in options, there’s always something new and exciting to try!

The only downside I can think of is that they don’t offer delivery service. But honestly, it’s worth heading over there just for the experience – plus you get to enjoy some truly delicious pizza while you’re at it!

If you’re looking for a great pizza spot in Lexington SC, Pizza Hut Express should definitely be your go-to place – it’s definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve tasted anywhere in my travels!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and cozy, just like walking into an old Italian grandmother’s kitchen. The menu has plenty of options to choose from with a variety of sauces, toppings, and crusts that will satisfy any pizza lover.

My favorite menu item is the deep dish pepperoni and mushroom pizza with extra cheesy crust. Delicious! The cheese was perfectly melted and gooey, while still maintaining its thickness. The mushrooms were succulent, adding flavor to every single bite. The pepperonis were juicy and flavorful, making for a mouthwatering experience. Plus, the extra cheesy crust was the icing on the cake; it gave the pizza an even richer texture and flavor that simply can’t be beat!

Marco’s Pizza also offers excellent customer service; my order was ready quickly and served hot right at my table. Every visit has been enjoyable because of their friendly staff and speedy delivery times.

All in all, I would recommend Marco’s Pizza to anyone looking for some truly delicious pizza in Lexington SC! It’s easily one of my top choices when it comes to finding the best pizza in town!
