#1 Sam’s Wood Fired Pizza Co.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and inviting. I could tell they strive to provide an excellent customer experience as soon as I walked in the door. Plus, it’s a great tourist spot – perfect for when your out-of-town friends come to visit.
The menu offers a wide variety of pizzas, with some vegetarian options too! The pizza itself was some of the tastiest I’ve had in a long time; each bite was better than the last. Even though there’s no delivery option, it’s totally worth going and picking up a tasty pie for yourself.
All in all, Sam’s Wood Fired Pizza Co. is definitely at the top of my list for best pizza in Manchester VT!
#2 Christos’ Pizza and Pasta

From the moment I stepped through the door, I could tell this was a special place. The decor was so inviting and the staff were incredibly friendly – it felt like I had come to a family gathering!
The food was out-of-this-world good! The pizza crust was cooked to perfection – crispy and chewy at the same time, just how I like it. Toppings were generous and flavorful, leaving me wanting more after each bite. And the sauces were spot on – just the right amount of sweetness and spice.
But what really put Christos’ Pizza and Pasta over the top for me was their homemade pasta dishes. From gnocchi to lasagna, they had it all! All of their dishes were made with fresh ingredients and expertly seasoned. The flavors are complex yet approachable – something that only comes from years of practice in Italian cooking.

I was hesitant to believe that a pizza place in a small town like Manchester could compete with the pizzas I’ve had in Italy and New York, but I’m glad I took the chance. The pizza was simply outstanding!
The crust was thin, perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of crunch. The sauce was flavorful and not too sweet, with a nice balance of acidity and sweetness. To top it off, the cheese was delicious—melted to perfection and stringy in all the right places.
Speaking of toppings—they have some of the best toppings around! Each topping is fresh (not canned or frozen) and they don’t skimp on portions either. Plus, they offer some unique creations like their “Carnivore Pizza” piled high with pepperoni, sausage and bacon. Yum!
