I’ve been around the world tasting pizza, and when I got wind of some great places on Martha’s Vineyard, I was more than eager to check them out! After thorough research (and a lot of delicious pizzas), I have narrowed it down to my top 11 picks for the best pizza in Martha’s Vineyard.

My journey to find the best pizza has been fun and eye-opening. From old-school slices that taste like they were made decades ago, to unique creations that make use of local ingredients, my mouth has been watering with every new bite. #1 Rocco’s Pizzeria

The atmosphere was wonderful and inviting, making it the perfect spot for tourists. After spending hours in line to get a table (which I hear can be a regular occurrence), we were handed menus with a variety of options. One of the things that surprised me is that they have some vegetarian-friendly options…not something you always find at pizza parlors.

The atmosphere was great and service was fast, but I also loved their kid’s menu. The portions are perfect for my little ones and they even offer dessert!

My only complaint would be that they don’t offer delivery services which could definitely come in handy on those lazy nights when all one wants is good pizza delivered right to the door.

Overall, I would highly recommend Rocco’s Pizzeria for great tasting pizza and an enjoyable experience with family or friends. Delicious pizza and wonderful ambience – what more can you ask for?

#2 Island Fresh Pizza & Subs

If you’re a fan of thin crust pizza, this is the spot for you. The crust is light and crispy, with just the right amount of saltiness to it. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, making every bite simply delicious. From traditional pepperoni to creative gourmet options like spicy Italian beef, there’s something for everyone here.

Not just pizza, Island Fresh Pizza & Subs also offers delicious subs! There’s a good selection of toppings available to customize your sub and make it just the way you like it.

The atmosphere is laid-back but cozy and makes for a nice place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help and answer any questions you might have about their menu items.

All in all, I absolutely recommend Island Fresh Pizza & Subs if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Martha’s Vineyard. This local spot is definitely worth a visit. Bon Appétit!

#3 Giordano’s Restaurant, Inc

The atmosphere of the restaurant is just perfect – cozy and welcoming. Plus, the staff are so friendly and accommodating that you can’t help but feel right at home.

The menu has all of your classic favorites, as well as some unique creations that you won’t find anywhere else. The wood-fire oven produces pizzas with a perfectly crisp crust and all the toppings are fresh and flavorful. I’m particularly fond of their Prosciutto and Arugula pizza!

Unfortunately, Giordano’s doesn’t offer delivery service, which could be a deal breaker for some people – but trust me, it’s worth the trip! Besides, they offer a fantastic dessert selection that would make any meal special.

#4 Edgartown Pizza

I’ve always been skeptical of small-town pizzerias, worried that their pizza could never compare to the world-class pies I’ve been lucky enough to sample. How wrong I was!

The crust was wonderfully thin and crunchy. It had a distinct nutty flavor that was far superior to what you would normally get from a pizzeria’s standard flour crust.

The sauce was unlike anything I’d ever tasted before. Sweet, tangy, and packed with flavor, it was quite possibly the best pizza sauce I’ve ever had.

The toppings were top notch. Freshly grated mozzarella and parmesan cheese, pungent garlic cloves, and sweet-tart tomato slices all blended together into a delicious harmony that made me swear I was in Naples (or at least in an Italian restaurant).

All in all, Edgartown Pizza proved itself to be the best pizza in Martha’s Vineyard!

I came to Porto Pizza expecting greatness, and I was far from disappointed. The decor is classic and cozy, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I had a Margherita pizza with a side of garlic knots and it was nothing short of divine. The crust was freshly made and loaded with flavor, while the toppings were perfectly balanced. Not to mention the garlic knots were super soft on the inside yet crispy on the outside – a combination that’s hard to find.

Overall, I would highly recommend Porto Pizza to anyone looking for the best pizza in Martha’s Vineyard. They really go above and beyond when it comes to quality ingredients, presentation, and customer service. Make sure you get there early as they tend to get busy – but it’s worth it!

From the moment I stepped into Wolf’s den Pizzeria, I could tell I was in for a treat. The inviting atmosphere and mouth-watering aromas were enough to draw me in and make me forget about everything else.

The pizza itself is definitely the star of the show here. The crusts are cooked to perfection – thin, crispy and crunchy on the outside with a light fluffy interior. The combination of ingredients used such as fresh-grated cheese, homemade sauce, and imported Italian meats make for an amazing mixture of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. The staff at Wolf’s Den was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful when it came to picking out my order which made the experience even better.

#7 Wolf’s Den Pizzeria Tisbury

When I first walked into Wolf’s Den, I knew I was in for a treat. The place is decorated with pictures of wolves and pizza-inspired art, which made me feel right at home.

The menu is extensive and full of different delicious options. I tried the classic Margherita pizza, and it exceeded my expectations. The crust was thin and crispy and the mozzarella cheese was perfectly melted. The tomatoes were juicy and flavorful, making this one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted!

I also had a chance to try their famous “Wolf Paw” specialty pizza which came loaded with a combination of tasty toppings like sausage, onions, peppers, and pepperoni. All the ingredients worked together to make this pizza an absolute delight!

I can confidently say that Wolf’s Den has some of the best pizza in Martha’s Vineyard — if you’re ever in town, be sure to stop by!

When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and the smell of delicious pizza. I could tell that it was going to be a great experience from the get-go.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, with plenty of seating and a large open kitchen where you could watch your pizza being made! Great for tourists looking for something different to do in Martha’s Vineyard.

I ordered the pepperoni pizza and my expectations were exceeded! The ingredients were all fresh, and there were plenty of toppings so each bite was packed with flavor. The crust was perfectly cooked – not too crunchy but not too soggy. It really hit the spot after a long day of traveling!

My only complaint would be that they don’t offer delivery yet, but hopefully they will in the near future. But overall, this is definitely one of the best places to get pizza on Martha’s Vineyard!

I was first in line when I arrived, and all I could smell was the heavenly aroma of freshly baked, delicious Italian pizza. The atmosphere was cozy and quaint, but the staff was fully attentive to the guests’ needs.

Every slice of pizza we got was cooked perfectly with an amazing combination of flavors! We tried the classic Margarita, spicy salami, four cheese, and more—all of which were incredible. Even my picky daughter had nothing but compliments for her last piece!

I’m disappointed that Martha’s Vineyard isn’t within driving distance from me because this restaurant is definitely on my list of places I want to return to for more great pizza experiences. Until then, I’ll have to settle for remembering how great Stella Salumeria’s pizzas are!

#10 Bobby B’s Restaurant & Bakery

The restaurant is friendly and cozy, with a charming vintage vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into a time machine. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure that all of my questions were answered and that I felt welcome at all times.

Moving on to the pizza, this place somehow manages to capture the perfect balance between classic Italian style pizza and modern American flavors. The crust is cooked just right—golden brown and crisp on the outside, yet soft and tasty in the middle. Every bite is filled with amazing flavor combinations, from the tangy tomato sauce to the gooey cheese that melts in your mouth.

The toppings are creative yet still familiar enough to feel like home: bacon wrapped brussels sprouts, roasted garlic mushrooms, or even prosciutto arugula if you’re feeling adventurous! No matter what topping combination I tried, it was always delicious.

Overall, Bobby B’s Restaurant & Bakery is hands-down one of the best places for pizza in Martha’s Vineyard! If you’re lucky enough to be vacationing there anytime soon, definitely stop by—you won’t regret it!

#11 Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta – Martha’s Vineyard

Although there is no delivery option, I highly recommend making the trip out here. With a comfortable atmosphere and great views, it’s a nice spot to take the family or a group of friends.

The pizza itself has a unique flavor that I haven’t tasted anywhere else. It’s delicious! And even better, they serve alcohol and offer yummy desserts – what more could you ask for?

All in all, I’d say Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta – Martha’s Vineyard deserves an A+! If you’re looking for the best pizza in Martha’s Vineyard, this is the place to go.
