I’ve tasted pizza all over the world, and Mentor OH is no exception when it comes to great pies. After sampling at least a dozen places in the area, I’m delighted to tell you about the very best pizza establishments I’ve visited.

#1 Vito’s Pizza

The place is as classic Italian pizzeria, complete with red checkered tablecloths, a few small tables and a pizza oven in the back. The menu has some great options – including vegetarian friendly choices – and they even offer a few dessert items which makes it an all-in-one dining experience.

My favorite thing about Vito’s Pizza though is what comes out of their pizza oven. Everything we had blew us away. From the classic Margherita to their signature pepperoni and mushroom pies, each pizza was cooked to perfection. The crust is thin and crispy with just the right amount of char, the sauce is zesty with flavorful herbs, and the cheese melted perfectly together with all the toppings. Let me tell you, I haven’t tasted a better slice anywhere else!

The only downside to this place is that they don’t offer delivery (which would really elevate their pizza game). But if you can make it there for dine-in or carryout, then you’ll be in for a treat! There’s no doubt in my mind: Vito’s Pizza has some of the best pizza in Mentor OH!

#2 Trios Italian Grille

The ambiance of the restaurant was unique and inviting. The owners have a passion for hospitality that is evident in their knowledgeable and friendly service staff.

The food was simply extraordinary! The pizza dough was perfectly seasoned, with an amazing fluffy texture that melted in my mouth. The toppings were fresh and delicious. I can personally vouch for the “triple cheese trio” pizza – it lives up to its name! It’s the perfect combination of creamy mozzarella, salty parmesan, and sharp provolone.

To top it off, the prices are very reasonable – which makes Trios Italian Grille a great value for those who want quality pizza without breaking the bank! All in all, they have earned themselves a spot on my list of favorite pizza places!

#3 J’s Pizza Market

The atmosphere is unique, reminding me of an old Italian pizzeria. There’s a cozy little patio seating area where you can enjoy your meal under the stars. The pizza itself is the real star here though. The dough is freshly made daily and cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven. The pizzas are loaded with fresh toppings like delicious Italian sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms.

I had the fresh margherita pizza which was amazing! It was perfectly crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with just enough sauce and cheese for maximum flavor. The ingredients were top notch, and it was clear every step of preparation had been handled with care.

Overall, I have to say that J’s Pizza Market is one of the best pizza places I’ve been to in a long time. It’s no wonder it has such a solid reputation among locals as well as travelers! If you’re looking for an authentic Italian pizza experience, look no further than J’s Pizza Market – it won’t disappoint!

#4 Maxim’s Pizza

The minute I walked in the door, I knew I was in for a treat. The pizza dough was light and fluffy and cooked to crispy perfection. The cheese was melted and gooey, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Every bite of pizza was an absolute delight!

I also had a chance to try some other dishes on the menu – including some garlic knots and calzones. They were all done with skill, flavor, and care.

The real highlight of my visit though was the staff. Everyone at Maxim’s Pizza welcomed me warmly and made sure my dining experience was top notch! From start to finish, they took care of me like family.

It’s no wonder why people consider Maxim’s Pizza one of the best pizza places around – it really is something special! If you’re ever in Mentor OH, be sure to stop by for some amazing pizza that’ll leave you wanting more.

#5 Zappitelli’s Pizza, Pasta & Parm

I have to say that the pizza here is top-notch. The crust was just perfect—it was crispy and chewy at the same time. All of the toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the sauce had a nice kick to it.

The service here was great, too. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they made sure I was having a good experience from start to finish.

But what really stood out to me as being different from other pizzerias was their Parmesan cheese! It was so creamy and delicious that I couldn’t help but order a second slice!

I recently had the pleasure of trying their delicious creations, and I have to say – their pizza is definitely something special. The crust was light and crispy, the cheese was flavorful and melted perfectly into the sauce, and the toppings were top-notch.

It’s no wonder why G-licious pizza has earned a stellar reputation among locals; they truly know how to make pizza that stands out from all the rest. If you’re ever in Mentor OH or are just craving some great pizza, head over to G-licious! You won’t regret it.

Also can I add – their garlic knots are a must try! They’re so good that I’m pretty sure I heard one of them call out my name as I was walking away with them! Yummmmmm!!

#7 Longo’s Pizza

Walking into the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by friendly staff and a tantalizing, cheesy aroma. The atmosphere felt relaxed and inviting. I couldn’t wait to try their pizza!

My order was ready quickly and it tasted even better than it looked! They use fresh ingredients, perfect seasonings and an authentically cooked crust that is both crunchy on the outside yet soft on the inside. The cheese was smooth, creamy and perfectly melted. All of this combined with their signature tomato sauce made for an unforgettable pizza experience!

I highly recommend Longo’s Pizza for anyone looking for a delicious slice of thin-crust pizza in Mentor OH! There’s no doubt that it’s some of the best pizza I’ve ever had – so don’t miss out on this amazing find!

#8 Campola’s Italian Bistro

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the atmosphere: it was cozy, inviting and had just the right amount of Italian-style charm. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made me feel like part of the family.

The pizza was simply outstanding – from the dough to the sauce, to the toppings and presentation. They have a wide selection of toppings for you to choose from, so you can create your own perfect pizza. I opted for their classic margherita with extra cheese and it did not disappoint. On top of that, all their pizzas come with garlic knots which were amazingly delicious! As if that wasn’t enough, they also offer beer and hard liquor so you can round out your meal with a cold drink!

And last but certainly not least – dessert! Campola’s Italian Bistro has some truly unique desserts that are worth trying. My favorite is their cannoli – filled with sweet ricotta cheese and topped with chocolate chips. It’s too good to pass up!

The only downside here is that they don’t offer delivery services, but if you have time to spare then I say go for it – it’s well worth the visit! Once you taste their pizza you’ll see why Campola’s Italian Bistro has earned its reputation as one of the best pizza places in Mentor OH!

When I first stepped into this place, the first thing that struck me was the atmosphere. It’s a cozy spot, with a rustic, Italian feel to it – almost like I had been transported to Naples. Plus, the cheerful staff make you feel immediately welcome.

The pizza here is definitely worth writing home about. The dough is delicate and flavorful – the perfect canvas for their delectable toppings. But what really sets Revolution Pizza Mentor apart is their creative flavor combinations. From classic Margherita to inventive combos like ‘Tomato and Brie’, they’re sure to have something for everyone! And if that wasn’t enough, they also offer vegetarian and vegan options too.

Needless to say, I had a hard time choosing just one topping! In the end I opted for a classic pepperoni and mushroom pizza and I was not disappointed – the flavor was truly sublime!

If you’re ever in Mentor OH looking for an outstanding culinary experience, look no further than Revolution Pizza Mentor! It’s certainly some of the best pizza in town (and probably in Ohio!).

#10 Cleveland Style Pizza

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew this was going to be a good experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their pizzas, which was a nice change of pace from some other restaurants I’ve visited.

Their pizza dough is light and airy, with a delicious flavor that enhances the toppings you choose. My personal favorite is the pepperoni, which came loaded with tasty pepperoni slices and just the right amount of cheese. It was simply divine!

Not only did the food taste great, but it looked great too! They have mastered the art of presentation and every slice comes out looking like a work of art. The atmosphere was also quite pleasant and inviting – it felt like home when I was in there!

#11 Mama Roberto’s Italian Restaurant

I had heard about Mama Roberto’s before my visit and I was excited to try out their pizza for myself. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

The atmosphere in the restaurant was welcoming and inviting. As soon as I stepped through the door, I couldn’t help but feel like I’d been transported to Italy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and more than happy to talk me through their extensive menu of pizzas.

The pizza itself was delicious! Their specialty is a classic Margherita pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and fresh basil – a simple combination that really delivers on flavor. If you’re looking for something a little more exotic, they have plenty other pizzas with creative toppings like steak, shrimp, olives and gorgonzola cheese to choose from too!

The crust of the pizza was thin but still had enough substance to hold all of the toppings without becoming soggy or falling apart. And that tomato sauce…it’s out of this world! They clearly use premium ingredients that make every bite exploding with flavor.

Overall, Mama Roberto’s Italian Restaurant has some of the best pizza in Mentor OH – hands down!

#12 Bada Boom Mentor

I know that’s a bold statement, but trust me – this place does not disappoint. The crust was amazing – perfectly thin and crispy on the outside, yet doughy and chewy on the inside. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, from the pepperoni to the mushrooms. And they weren’t skimpy with the cheese either! It was so gooey and delicious that you almost forget it’s pizza – it’s more like a cheesy work of art.

And if that isn’t enough, Bada Boom Mentor also boasts some of the best service I’ve ever encountered at a pizza joint. Everyone was friendly and greeted me with a smile. They walk you through their menu options and are more than willing to accommodate any requests or substitutions.
