#2 Biga Pizza
- Serves alcohol
- Nice tourist spot
- Offers dessert
- Has some vegetarian options
I was skeptical at first, but after a few slices I was sold. This is not the average run-of-the-mill pizza joint– Biga Pizza has perfected hand-tossed, thin crust pizza that’s been cooked in hot brick ovens.
The toppings are spectacular: from mushrooms and peppers to anchovies and pepperoni. There’s something for everyone, and the combinations offered for true pizza connoisseurs are simply amazing.
What really sets them apart, however, is their signature sauce. It’s unlike any other pizza sauce I’ve tasted before, subtly sweet while still keeping the classic Italian flavor. The cheese is also top notch; it melts in your mouth like butter.
The atmosphere at Biga Pizza adds to the experience: they have a cozy family feel with friendly staff and great prices (especially when you’re on a budget!). Plus there’s room to bring your own beer or wine if you so desire!

#3 Highlander Beer – Missoula Brewing Co

I was in for a treat when I walked in the door, not only because of the delicious smell of pizza, but also because they serve beer. After ordering a cold one and taking it over to my table, I sat down and had a look at the menu.
The selections were numerous and I had trouble deciding what to order. After much deliberation, I settled on their classic thin-crust pizza. It arrived warm, crispy and loaded with cheese and toppings – just the way it’s supposed to be! Every bite was filled with flavor – from the tomato sauce to the generous amounts of toppings that filled the entire pizza.
The only downside is that this place doesn’t offer delivery, which is a bummer given that I could go through a whole pies worth of toppings in no time. But if you can make it to Highlander Beer – Missoula Brewing Co then you’re guaranteed some of the best pizza in Missoula.
#4 Bridge Pizza

Walking into Bridge Pizza, I was amazed at the cozy atmosphere. The decor is warm and inviting with a wood-burning stove and vintage photos on the walls.
The menu is extensive with both classic flavors like pepperoni and mushroom as well as unique pies like fig, gorgonzola and caramelized onion. Even better, they offer gluten-free options so everyone can indulge.
But what really impressed me were their pizzas! Their crust has just the right amount of crunchy char in all the right places. The toppings are fresh and flavorful, weaving together perfectly to create each pie’s unique flavor profile. The crust-to-sauce ratio is also spot on – not too much cheese or sauce, so you can actually taste every ingredient in each bite.
In short, if you’re looking for the best pizza in Missoula, Bridge Pizza is where it’s at! With its world-class pies and inviting atmosphere, it’s well worth a visit. Bon appetit!
