I’m here to tell you all about the eight pizza places I’ve tried and the ones that rise above the rest. While I take pizza seriously, I’m also going to have some fun with this article. I promise it won’t be boring!

#1 Big Don’s Pizza & Pasta Food Truck Moab

I had the pleasure of visiting this charming little pizza truck when exploring Moab and it was certainly a unique experience. The atmosphere really contributed to the quality of the pizza as well—it’s a great tourist spot with an open-air seating area where you can enjoy the view and watch your pizza being made right before your eyes.

The selection of toppings was wide and varied, allowing me to choose my own perfect combination. But what really sets Big Don’s Pizza & Pasta Food Truck Moab apart from other pizza joints is their homemade dough. It had the perfect amount of crunch, flavor, and just enough chewiness that typified an Italian-style brick oven pizza. The tomatoes in the sauce were sweet and fresh, while the cheese was rich, creamy and plentiful.

The only downside is, unfortunately, they don’t have delivery service—so if you’re staying a bit further away, you’ll have to make do with takeout… but trust me—when it comes to pizza in Moab, there’s no better option than Big Don’s Pizza & Pasta Food Truck Moab! I give them two thumbs up for their scrumptious pies!

#2 Moab Canyon Pizza Co.

I was delighted when I found out that not only did they have delicious pizza, but they also served alcohol to help go along with it. As a vegetarian, I appreciate the fact that they offered a few options for me, too. And if all of those great things weren’t enough, their desserts are absolutely to die for!

The only thing that I wasn’t so fond of is the fact that Moab Canyon Pizza Co. does not offer delivery service. Honestly, this shouldn’t stop anyone from trying out this restaurant though — it’s definitely worth checking out. Plus, it’s a convenient tourist spot as well!

All-in-all, Moab Canyon Pizza Co. is definitely the best pizza in Moab and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic meal.

#3 Zax Restaurant

I had the chance to visit this place when I was in town and now I’m a real fan. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Plus, they have plenty of TVs so that you can catch all the sports games.

The pizzas were so good! They had everything from classic pepperoni to a white mushroom pie. And if that wasn’t enough, they even offer liquor at the bar, making it one of the better places for adults looking for a night out.

For kids, there’s also something special: their ‘Kids Menu’. There’s something for everyone in your group!

And if all that wasn’t enough, Zax Restaurant also offers dessert! So after enjoying some awesome pizza it’s nice to top off your evening with something sweet.

The one downside is that they don’t do delivery which can be a bit disappointing if you’re looking to stay home. But really, once you’ve tasted their food and experienced the atmosphere I’m sure you’ll agree: Zax Restaurant is one of the best places to go for pizza in Moab!

#4 Pizza Hut

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

My server guided me to the menu, which featured a wide variety of pizza options. I decided to go with their original pan pizza (just because it felt right) and topped it off with extra cheese and pepperoni.

When it arrived at my table, my mouth instantly began to water. The cheese was melted perfectly and had a golden-brown hue that can only come from quality ingredients. The crust had just enough crunchiness without being too bready or too thin, while the pepperoni was cooked to perfection with plenty of flavor!

I can honestly say that Pizza Hut has some of the best pizza in Moab! They truly hit all the right notes of what perfect pizza should be – delicious flavors, perfect texture, and high-quality ingredients. Plus, their prices are reasonable for such quality food!

If you’re ever in Moab looking for some great pizza, make sure you stop by Pizza Hut!

#5 Domino’s Pizza

The crust is the perfect combination of crispy and chewy – not too thick or thin – and never overcooked. The sauce has just the right level of sweetness and acidity, while the cheese melts perfectly in your mouth.

The toppings selection is wide enough that everyone can find something they like, but my favorite by far is their classic pepperoni – it’s always generous and cooked to perfection.

I’ve been to Domino’s many times over the years, and I’ve yet to be disappointed. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is surprisingly cozy for a fast-food joint. Plus, delivery times are usually very quick!

All in all, Domino’s Pizza gets an A+ from me!! If you’re looking for the best pizza in Moab, look no further – Domino’s is definitely worth a try!

#6 Il Posto Rosso

The atmosphere of the restaurant itself adds to the experience, as it’s a great tourist spot with a comfy ambiance. What really set Il Posto Rosso apart from other pizza places is their wide selection of alcoholic beverages, including hard liquor. They also have some delicious vegetarian options, making this an ideal spot for any pizza enthusiast.

But that’s not all – they also offer insanely good dessert options! So after indulging in one of their delectable pizzas, you can top off your meal with something super sweet.

My only complaint about Il Posto Rosso is that there’s no delivery option – you have to go to enjoy the full experience! But trust me, it’s worth it for the best pizza in Moab.

#7 Antica Forma

Upon arriving at Antica Forma, I was immediately captivated by the inviting atmosphere that greeted me from the moment I stepped inside. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with Italian-inspired decor and furnishings, creating a cozy yet sophisticated vibe.

The pizza menu has a great variety of options, so I decided to try the classic margherita pizza. The crust was just the right thickness and had an excellent balance of crisp and chewiness without being too doughy. The tomatoes were sweet and juicy while the cheese was rich and creamy, making each bite a delightfully cheesy experience!

The service was great as well – the waitstaff were very friendly, attentive and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our meal.

In short, if you’re in Moab looking for amazing pizza then you simply can’t miss Antica Forma! You won’t be sorry you stopped in for some of the best pizza you’ll ever taste!

#8 Pasta Jay’s

The atmosphere was lively, with their relaxed vibe and friendly staff. Plus, the fact that they served alcohol – and hard liquor – made for a unique and enjoyable dining experience.

I especially loved the selection of vegetarian options on the menu as well as their kids’ menu so that everyone can enjoy a tasty meal. Speaking of taste, their dessert was insanely good and I’m sure appeals to all types of sweet tooths.

With its great food and up-beat atmosphere, Pasta Jay’s is definitely a great tourist spot no matter if you’re visiting or even just passing through. The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery – but honestly if you have access to this beautiful town why would you want anything delivered?
