After visiting 12 different pizza places in Mobile AL, I’ve found some real gems that I just couldn’t ignore. From iconic New York-style pies to Chicago deep dish, there sure is something for everyone here.

#1 Joe’s Pizza & Pasta

From the moment I stepped into Joe’s, I knew this place was special. Not only did they have a wide variety of different pizzas, but the service was top-notch and everyone had a smile on their face. I could immediately tell that they take pride in their craft and it shows in the delicious pies they serve.

I opted for the classic pepperoni pizza to try first. With just one bite, I knew why people talked so highly of Joe’s! The crust was cooked to perfection and had an incredible crunch that paired fantastically with the savory sauce and cheese. The pepperonis were cooked just right, providing a great balance of flavor in each bite.

To finish off my experience at Joe’s pizza & Pasta, I couldn’t resist trying some of their pasta dishes as well. The Alfredo was absolutely heavenly and tasted like it came straight from Italy!

#2 MOD Pizza

The first thing I noticed when I stepped into the restaurant was that they had a huge selection of pizzas on the menu. From classic pepperoni to gourmet creations, there was something for everyone! And boy, were their crust options tasty! Each one was made with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection.

The second thing I noticed was the atmosphere. Despite being a busy restaurant, it still had a warm and welcoming feeling. The staff were friendly and attentive, always eager to answer any questions we had about the food or explain how to best customize our pizzas.

When my pizza arrived, I could tell that it was made with love! The toppings were generous and delicious—just as good as in Italy itself! But what really made this pizza special was its sauce. It had just the right amount of sweetness and tanginess that blended together perfectly with all of the other flavors in my pizza creation.

I’m convinced that MOD Pizza has some of the best pizza in Mobile—it was an unforgettable experience! Highly recommended for anyone looking for great-tasting yet affordable pizza.

#3 Pizzeria Delphina

The first thing I noticed when I stepped through the door was the wonderful aroma of delicious pizza. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with all kinds of interesting decorations, like paintings and instruments around the room. It felt like I had been transported to Italy!

The staff were very friendly, and they had no problem helping me out with my order. They have an extensive selection of pizzas with some unique toppings, like spicy sausage and creamy garlic sauce. In addition to their pizzas, they also have some amazing Italian dishes like pasta and calzones.

My favorite part about Pizzeria Delphina is their freshly made dough. Every step of the process is done in house — from kneading and rising to baking in their wood-fired ovens. The result? A perfect thin crust that’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Each bite was packed with intense flavor!

The first time I tried Blaze Pizza in Mobile, I was definitely impressed. From the moment I stepped in, I knew this place was something special. The smell of freshly cooked pizza wafted through the air, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

I opted for their signature “Blaze Classic” pizza with sausage, pepperoni and peppers. The crust was perfectly cooked – crisp on the outside and soft on the inside – and they didn’t skimp on toppings either! All that melted cheese, lightly-seasoned meat and fresh vegetables made for a delicious combination.

Overall, my experience at Blaze Pizza was fantastic! While it may not be known just yet as the best pizza in Mobile, it’s certainly one of the best places to get a great slice. If you’re ever in town looking for a decent piece of ‘za, then definitely check out Blaze Pizza.

#5 Lost Pizza Co. Mobile Midtown

The atmosphere is great with a casual, laid-back vibe. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the restaurant has a wide selection of pizzas to choose from.

I decided to try one of their signature pizzas, the ‘Diavolo’ which had spicy sausage, jalapenos, and other delicious toppings. It was cooked to perfection – crispy yet still slightly doughy in all the right places. The flavors just exploded in my mouth!

The portions were good too; I easily shared a large between three of us and we still had leftovers!

We also tried one of their specialty cocktails which was lip-smackingly tasty – definitely worth trying if you’re planning on visiting. All in all, it was an amazing experience!

#6 Nino’s pizza

I know what you’re thinking – how could it possibly be the best around?! But I assure you, after one bite of their freshly prepared pizzas made with quality ingredients, you’ll be convinced.

First off, Nino’s pizza has both classic and creative pizzas to choose from. They have delicious classics like meat-lover’s, veggie-lover’s and their famous house cheese pizza that is to die for (literally). If you’re looking for something a little out of the ordinary, they also offer specialty pizzas like the BLT & Bacon or the Philly Cheesesteak.

But what really sets Nino’s apart from other pizza places is their attention to detail. The dough is perfectly thin and crunchy and their sauces are unique – not overly acidic or too sweet. Plus, their toppings are always fresh – not sitting in some storage container for weeks on end like in other places. Plus, every slice is perfectly cut so that each bite is enjoyable!

If you’re looking for great pizza in Mobile, then you have to try out Nino’s Pizza – it’s some of the best pizza I’ve ever had!

#7 Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza

I’m always skeptical of take ‘n’ bake pizza places, but boy did Papa Murphy’s prove me wrong. I tried the veggie delight and it was bursting with flavor. The crust was the perfect balance of crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful.

And that’s not all. What really blew me away was the convenience of it all. All you have to do is call in your order, pick it up, pop it in the oven, and voila! You’ve got a delicious home cooked pizza without having to make any effort at all. No delivery required!

I’d highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Mobile. With its convenient take ‘n’ bake options, you can enjoy a great tasting pizza while saving time in the process. Highly recommended!

#8 Blaze Pizza

First off, their pizzas are incredibly customizable. With a wide array of toppings that range from wild to mild, you can create your own signature pie or just pick one of the signature recipes they offer. I tried the Spicy Hawaiian pizza, and it was truly delicious – the perfect blend of sweet pineapple and spicy pepperoni! Not to mention, their crust is absolutely divine: crispy on the outside but soft and airy on the inside.

The atmosphere at Blaze Pizza also makes it one of my all-time favorite spots for pizza. The energy and vibe in there are electric; it’s always packed with people clamoring for their tasty pies! And if you want to enjoy your dinner without making a fuss, you can even order online or by phone so that your dinner is ready for you when you arrive.

All in all, Blaze Pizza serves up some of the best pizza in Mobile AL. Whether you’re in search for a cheesy slice or something more daring (like my Spicy Hawaiian), this is definitely the place to be.

#9 Ashland Midtown Pub

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great. They had a lively sports bar vibe, complete with TVs playing all the big games. The pizza oven was located in the center of the restaurant, which added an inviting warmth to the already cozy interior.

The pizzas themselves were outstanding! There was a wide variety of toppings to choose from, and everything I ordered tasted delicious. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the cheese melted just right. I couldn’t find any fault with these pies!

I would also like to commend their service – all of the waitresses were friendly, helpful and made sure my glass was never empty. They even threw in some free garlic bread!

All-in-all, if you’re looking for the best pizza in Mobile, Ashland Midtown Pub is definitely worth checking out!

#10 Mellow Mushroom Mobile

I was immediately impressed by the décor of the restaurant, which had a cool and stylish vibe with it’s bright colors and funky mushroom-themed art. But I didn’t come here for the atmosphere – I came to try their pizza!

And let me tell you – it did not disappoint. The cheese was gooey and delicious, the crust was nice and crispy, and the toppings were generous yet flavorful. One of my favorite things about Mellow Mushroom Mobile’s pizza is that they use specialty ingredients like dried tomatoes, olive oil, and oregano to give it an extra special flavor.

The service at Mellow Mushroom Mobile was also great; everyone from the waitstaff to the manager was friendly and attentive. The prices were also very reasonable for such high-quality food.

Overall, my experience at Mellow Mushroom Mobile truly exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for great pizza in Mobile, look no further than Mellow Mushroom!

#11 Navco Pizza

From the moment I stepped foot in Navco Pizza, I was struck by the cozy atmosphere. The staff greeted me with a friendly smile and showed me to my table.

The pizza itself was nothing short of amazing. The fresh ingredients used meant that every bite had an incredible flavor and aroma. The crust was nice and crisp and had the perfect balance of cheese and sauce. A classic topping combination of pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives added extra flair to each slice.

Overall, I’d highly recommend anyone in Mobile looking for some truly great pizza to visit Navco Pizza. From the fantastic staff to the mouth-watering pizza, it’s certainly won me over as one of the best pizzerias in town!

#12 Marco’s Pizza

The atmosphere is always inviting, the staff are friendly, and the pizza is delicious. The crust is crispy yet still fluffy, and it’s just the right thickness – not too thin and not too thick.

The toppings are always fresh and flavorful. I’ve tried a few different varieties – pepperoni, sausage, and even BBQ chicken – and each one was so delicious! It’s incredible how they make all those flavors come together.

Plus, you can’t beat their prices! You get a lot of pizza for a great value at Marco’s Pizza.

I’m convinced that Marco’s Pizza has some of the best pizza in Mobile! If you’re ever in town, be sure to check it out – your taste buds will thank you!
