It was maddening to come here and see the ingredients used. From their superbly-marinated meats, to their carefully-crafted sauces, I was in total amazement that this pizza joint had it all. It’s no wonder they have such a huge following!

My favorite item on the menu is the “Morgantown Special”. Topped with three types of cheese, marinara sauce, and pepperoni and salami, it is one delicious treat! The crust is thick and hearty, yet still light and crispy. And the flavors are so bold that they’ll make your mouth water just thinking about it!

But my absolute favorite item is their thin crust pizza. They use only the freshest ingredients and bake them to perfection for a unique flavor profile you won’t find anywhere else. The toppings are zesty yet subtle – there’s nothing like biting into this thin crust pizza!

I can honestly say that Homegrown Pizza has some of the best pizza in Morgantown WV. If you’re ever in town, you must try it – it will change your life!

I was immediately impressed with the restaurant’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. There was plenty of seating, and the staff were incredibly friendly. As soon as I walked in, I knew that I had found something special.

I opted for a traditional Margherita pizza, and it did not disappoint! The dough was cooked to perfection; crispy on the outside but still very soft on the inside. The portions at Pizza Al’s 2 Sabraton are quite generous – one slice could easily feed two people! But if you’re feeling really hungry, you can order a large pizza that will feed up to five people. And let me tell you: it’s worth every penny!

The service was also top-notch – even with my extensive pizza knowledge, everyone at Milano’s treated me with respect and were happy to answer any questions I had. They even have a great selection of beers to pair with your meal!

The first thing I noticed was the wide variety of options on the menu. From vegetarian to carnivore, there is something for everyone at Lefty’s Place. I also appreciated being able to enjoy a beer or hard liquor with my meal – because sometimes, you just need a drink to get those taste buds going.

Dessert was also an option (which I took full advantage of) after devouring one of their delicious pizzas.

Of course, one downside is that they don’t offer delivery, but then again that means you have to go in and experience the atmosphere – which is quite nice. The restaurant itself is quite cozy and inviting, and also serves as a great tourist spot.

This rustic restaurant is tucked away in a quiet corner of town and offers an array of delectable pies. The crust was crisp and the flavor exceeded my expectations! The best part is they offer some vegetarian options, so even non-meat eaters can indulge in their delicious pizzas.

I was greeted warmly by the staff and felt right at home from the moment I stepped inside. It’s easy to see why Pizza Al’s is such a popular tourist spot – you’ll never find fresher ingredients in a more delightful setting!

The only downside is that Pizza Al’s doesn’t offer delivery services, so you’ll have to make the trip to sample their amazing pies for yourself. Trust me, it’s worth it! All I can say is that if you want the best pizza Morgantown WV has to offer, look no further than Pizza Al’s!

#6 Pizza Al’s of Granville

From the moment I stepped in their doors, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. There were several tables to choose from and there were plenty of options for toppings and even vegan options on the menu.

The pizza itself is outstanding, made with fresh ingredients like real mozzarella cheese, savory sausage, pepperoni, and veggies. The crust is just thin enough to be crispy but not so thin that it gets too hard.

I tried their “Garlic Supreme” pizza which was an absolute delight; all the flavors blended together perfectly – the garlic had just the right amount of kick. The service was friendly and fast, which was a plus.

The prices at Pizza Al’s are also quite reasonable considering you get such high-quality food made from scratch. Without a doubt this is the best place to go for pizza in Morgantown WV!

#7 The Pizza Place (Morgantown)

The Pizza Place is a quaint, cozy spot with an inviting atmosphere, ideal for an intimate dinner or a casual family night. From the moment you walk inside, you can smell the delicious aroma of fresh-baked pizza wafting through the air. The menu features a wide variety of specialty pizzas as well as classic favorites like pepperoni and cheese. I chose to try the Supreme Pizza, which did not disappoint! Topped with pepperoni, onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms, it was full of flavor and cooked to perfection.

I also tried some of their sides: garlic knots and mozzarella sticks. The garlic knots were light and fluffy with just enough seasoning to bring out all the flavors. And the mozzarella sticks were so cheesy and delicious – it’s no wonder they’re one of their most popular items!

I made my way to the joint and was greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff was eager to get me whatever I needed and were very knowledgeable about their menu.

The classic Italian-American pies at Fat Angelo’s are cooked in a wood-fired oven that is over 100 years old. It imparts an amazing aroma and flavor that has earned the restaurant its reputation as one of the best pizza places in Morgantown WV.

From white pizzas topped with garlic, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese to more traditional recipes like pepperoni and sausage, there is something for everyone at Fat Angelo’s! The crust was incredibly thin, but still had just enough chewiness to hold up against the sauce and toppings. Plus, all of the ingredients were fresh and flavorful.

All in all, I would definitely recommend Fat Angelo’s for anyone looking for a great slice of pizza. It’s easily some of the best pizza in Morgantown WV!

#10 PeppeBroni’s Pizza

The first thing you’ll notice when you walk into PeppeBroni’s Pizza is the atmosphere. The decor is kitschy and cheerful, with a checkered floor that’s definitely Instagram worthy. And the staff is super friendly. They make it feel like home, which always helps to set the mood for a great pizza experience!

Speaking of great experiences, let’s talk about the food! The pizzas at PeppeBroni’s are always made fresh and they have a huge menu of options to choose from. From classic Italian styles to more modern creations, they have something for everyone!

But what really sets PeppeBroni’s apart are their unique toppings and sauces. Their spicy red sauce is always flavorful and bold and their selection of veggies and cheeses are top-notch. They even offer freshly made dough every day, ensuring that every slice is especially tasty.

All in all, I have to say that I’m pretty impressed by my visit to PeppeBroni’s Pizza. It has some of the best pizza in Morgantown WV and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

#11 Puglioni’s | Pasta & Pizza

To preface, I must admit that the atmosphere here is quite enjoyable. The boisterous crowd and warm ambiance make sure you are always smiling while enjoying your meal.

The food here is definitely a highlight! Their pizza is the star of the show, but they also offer delicious pasta dishes, salads, subs and more. And there’s no question that having beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages on hand just adds to the great experience. For those with children, they also have a very nice kid’s menu.

Of course one downside to this place is that deliveries aren’t available – you gotta dine in or take out. But honestly, it’s worth it! Plus they serve desserts too – significant bonus points there!!

In conclusion, Puglioni’s | Pasta & Pizza is a great place for great pizza and other Italian cuisine. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in town looking for some of the best pizza in Morgantown WV!

#12 Jersey’s Subs and Pizza

During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying out their signature meat lovers pizza. The crust was thin and crunchy and perfectly paired with the generous amounts of pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and beef that made up the toppings. The sauce was tangy and savory, complementing each bite so well that it made me forget I was in Morgantown WV for a moment.

What really set this pizza apart from others I have had is the care put into every single ingredient. Jersey’s Subs and Pizza clearly takes great pride in making sure all ingredients are of premium quality because you could taste it in every bite!

Another fantastic aspect of eating here is the service. My server was so friendly and welcoming that I felt like a regular right away! They even offered me a complimentary slice of chocolate cheesecake after my meal to top off an amazing experience.
