So, I decided to take it upon myself to find the best pizza in Mt Pleasant SC by trying out 12 different establishments. Along the way, I encountered some interesting recipes and took some notes about each one.

As soon as I walked in, I knew this place was special. The décor was impeccable – bright colors and art on the walls, lots of smiling faces, and a warm atmosphere.

When ordering my pizza, I had so many options! From their traditional Detroit-style deep dish to their creative pastas and subs. After much deliberation, I finally decided on the classic pepperoni deep dish with extra cheese.

The culinary experience at Toni’s is second to none. The crust was crisp and golden brown with a crunchy texture that held up well even after being slathered in sauce and cheese. The sauce was sweet but not too sweet, and the pepperoni had just the right amount of spice. It really felt like it was made by an Italian master chef!

The service at Toni’s was some of the best I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant. Everyone from the hostess to the wait staff made sure that my experience there was smooth sailing. They were courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable of their menu items which made it very easy for me to decide what I wanted to order!

All in all I can confidently say that Toni’s Detroit Style Pizza is one of Mt Pleasant SC’s best pizzerias. From its high-quality ingredients to its friendly service staff – this place never fails to impress!

I was amazed by the variety of pizza they offer, from traditional Margarita to their specialty Hawaiian. And each was as delicious as the next. The fresh, sweet taste of the dough brought back childhood memories of my mom’s homemade pizzas, and I never hesitated to order a second or third slice!

The staff at Iggy’s made sure that each customer was taken care of with special attention and care. I felt like royalty! They even asked for my opinion on which toppings would be best for my pizzas. It definitely made me feel appreciated.

#3 Orlando’s Pizza Mt Pleasant

The first thing that struck me about this place was the decor. It had a relaxed, cozy feel to it. You could tell they took great pride in the restaurant by how well kept it was.

The pizza itself was like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. The crust was light and fluffy while still being crisp enough to hold all of the delicious toppings! And talk about topping choices! They offer over 40 different combinations so everyone can find something they like.

Their signature pizza is definitely worth a try too. It’s made with their signature sauce, which is made with a blend of herbs and spices, and topped with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and parmesan cheese. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water!

The staff at Orlando’s Pizza Mt Pleasant were friendly and helpful as well. They were willing to recommend different pizzas and answer any questions I had about particular ingredients or the menu in general.

Overall, Orlando’s Pizza Mt Pleasant is far above average for pizza restaurants in Mt Pleasant SC – if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in town, then this is definitely the spot for you!

#4 La Pizzeria

The atmosphere was so inviting and the staff was so warm and friendly. The pizza ovens were practically calling my name. I could smell the amazing aromas before I even walked in the door.

When it came to their pizza, I was in heaven. The crust was perfectly cooked with a crunchy exterior and a moist interior that simply melted in my mouth. Their toppings were succulent and full of flavor, complementing the dough perfectly. Even the marinara sauce was somehow creamy yet not overly thick or thin like some other places.

Overall, La Pizzeria is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for some seriously delicious pizza! They truly have some of the best pizza around Mt Pleasant SC, hands down!

If I could give them more than five stars, I would. The atmosphere is great; you can even get a beer or glass of wine to go with your pizza. And what’s amazing, is that they offer dessert too!

The only downside? No delivery. But it’s worth the trip – trust me.

The pizza here is spectacular – crispy crust and cheesy goodness that will have you drooling. The ingredients are always fresh, and they source local whenever they can.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and they offer both beer and hard liquor which makes the experience even better. For those looking for vegetarian options, they have some of that too. Additionally, they feature a dessert menu which is the perfect way to finish off a great evening out.

Where Wood & Grain lacks, however, is in the delivery department. This is really the only knock against them; if you don’t want to leave your house and still enjoy their amazing pizza, then you’ll be out of luck! But that doesn’t take away from the fact that their pizza is top-notch.

I have never had a bad experience here. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the pizza is top-notch. The pizza crusts are perfectly crisp, the cheese is gooey and the toppings are fresh – it’s clear that the Chef knows his craft. Every bite of their pizzas has been nothing short of heavenly!

The service at this restaurant is also top notch – the staff are friendly and attentive, making sure my dining experience is as enjoyable as possible. I like to get creative with my toppings sometimes and they’re always willing to accommodate.

I was met with a friendly atmosphere as soon as I walked in, and the staff were more than willing to make sure my experience was a good one. The interior of the restaurant had a classic Italian feel, with the pizza ovens in plain view.

The pizza at Amalfi’s blew my mind! From their signature pizzas to the build-your-own options, they really have something for everyone. The crust was perfectly cooked and light and fluffy – definitely some of the best dough I’ve ever had. Toppings were fresh, flavorful and plentiful – every bite was delicious!

The only downside is that once you start eating their pizza, you won’t want to stop! So make sure you bring your appetite when you visit Amalfi’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria. Trust me – it’ll be worth it!

#10 Benny Palmetto’s, Pizza

Let me tell you about my experience. Upon arriving, the atmosphere was warm and inviting – it definitely felt like a classic Italian pizzeria. I immediately ordered the standard Margherita pizza, which was thin-crust, fresh and delicious. I wasn’t expecting to be so impressed with the taste of a simple Margherita pizza, but Benny Palmetto’s nailed it!

The other pizzas they offer were just as delightful too – from the traditional pepperoni to the BBQ chicken to their signature Benny Palmetto’s special. It all had that amazing blend of tangy tomato sauce, bubbly cheese and fresh dough that is hard to replicate anywhere else.

I also have to mention that service here was absolutely impeccable – everyone in the restaurant was so kind and accommodating. And the price? Definitely reasonable for such fantastic quality!

In conclusion, if you’re ever in Mt Pleasant SC make sure to stop by Benny Palmetto’s Pizza for some of the best pizza around!

#11 Mellow Mushroom Mount Pleasant

The first time I went there, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But after my first bite, I knew this place was something special. The balance of cheese, sauce and crust was divine – it almost felt like I was eating a pizza with all the right flavors in harmony!

The staff at Mellow Mushroom are also top notch. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful in making sure that my experience was enjoyable. From the cashier up front to the cooks in the back, everyone made me feel welcome and appreciated as a customer.

And let’s not forget about the toppings! Whatever your preference may be, Mellow Mushroom has something for you. They offer a wide variety of toppings such as pepperoni, sausage, bell peppers, onions and more. And don’t forget about their signature pizzas that feature some truly unique twists on classic recipes.

It’s easy to see why Mellow Mushroom is renowned for being one of the best pizza restaurants in Mt Pleasant SC – it certainly lives up to its reputation! If you’re ever in town looking for an amazing slice of pizza, definitely make a stop here!

#12 Coastal Crust

The atmosphere is perfect for tourists – it’s relaxing and inviting, and the staff are very friendly. Plus, the added bonus of being able to get a beer or glass of wine with your pizza makes this a great spot!

Their selection of vegetarian options is impressive – not all pizza places offer such variety. And if you still have room after your meal, they even serve desserts!

My only criticism would be that they don’t offer delivery. But if you can make it there in person, you won’t be disappointed.
