Having been lucky enough to sample delicious pizza from all over the world, I can honestly say that finding decent pizza in Nantucket was a pleasant surprise. I recently stopped by Foggy Nantucket on my global pizza quest and I’m so happy I did! The restaurant offers an incredible variety of pizzas that are all made with the freshest ingredients. From classic Margherita to creative variations like their BBQ Chicken Pizza, they have something for every taste.
Their pizzas are cooked in a stone oven which gives them a unique flavor unlike anything else. The crust is thick and crispy on the outside, with a soft center that just melts in your mouth. To top it off, the toppings are plentiful and generous – you can really taste all of the fresh ingredients!
The ambiance at Foggy Nantucket is also worth noting – it’s cozy and inviting, with an attentive staff that make you feel right at home. Their take-out service is also excellent if you’re looking for something to go.
All in all, Foggy Nantucket definitely gets my seal of approval! If you’re looking for authentic Italian-style pizza with amazing flavors, Foggy Nantucket is the place to be. It’s without a doubt some of the best pizza in Nantucket!

The pizza crust here is the real deal – crispy yet doughy, and not too thick or thin. The toppings are fresh, and the flavors are bold without overpowering each other. And I can’t forget to mention their secret sauce – it’s absolutely divine!
Plus, the staff is really friendly and knowledgeable about their ingredients. They’re also willing to make custom orders and provide helpful suggestions if you’re feeling adventurous!

I’m not one for exaggerations, but the pizza here was so good that I almost thought I had died and gone to pizza heaven! The crust was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and light as air on the inside. The tomato sauce was so flavorful it made me wish all sauces could taste that way. And the cheese – oh my goodness, the cheese! It was like a blanket of gooey deliciousness that just melted in my mouth.
The staff at Sophie T’s Pizza were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly too. They gave me plenty of advice about what toppings to choose, how to order correctly and even some fun facts about Nantucket! That made my experience there even more enjoyable.

I have to say, I was really impressed with their selection and the quality of ingredients. The crust was perfect – not too thin and not too thick, just the right amount of crispiness! And that sauce, oh my goodness! It was so flavorful and sweet – definitely something special.
The toppings were top-notch as well. I especially loved their Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza – it had just the right amount of spice and cheese. But if you’re looking for something a little more adventurous, they offer plenty of unique topping options like artichoke hearts, garlic chips, and roasted red peppers. Yum!
Overall, SHANGRI-LA KITCHEN is one of the best pizza places I’ve ever visited. From the delicious food to the friendly staff, this place will make you feel like you’ve stumbled across a magical pizza paradise!
#5 Oath Pizza – Nantucket

The first thing that caught my eye was the shop’s decor. You walk in and it practically feels like a mini pizzeria in Italy. The wooden bar top, open ovens, and delightful pizza aroma will transport you to an Italian pizzeria!
The pizza is out of this world! It has a perfectly chewy crust with just the right amount of crunch, and each pizza is topped with fresh ingredients that pack a lot of flavor. They offer all kinds of specialty pies, but their Margherita pizza was absolutely delicious. You can’t go wrong ordering one!
But perhaps even more impressive than the pizza itself is Oath Pizza – Nantucket’s staff. The team members are knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about their craft – something I really appreciate as a food critic!
All in all, Oath Pizza – Nantucket offers some of the best pizza in Nantucket! From its stylish decor to its incredibly delicious pies and great customer service, I highly recommend checking it out for yourself!

The ingredients are always fresh and the dough is perfectly crispy. The service here is always top notch – the wait staff are friendly and attentive, even when I’ve been known to stay well past closing time!
I love their signature Dragon by the Sea pizza – it’s an exquisite blend of seafood, from lobster to shrimp to scallops, all atop a bed of cheese and garlic sauce. It’s utterly delicious and always leaves me wanting more.
The pasta dishes here are also quite enjoyable – it’s clear that Old South Diner/Dragon by the sea takes pride in its Italian heritage. From lasagna to Alfredo, each dish is carefully crafted with something special in mind.
If you’re on Nantucket and looking for some great pizza, you really can’t go wrong with Old South Diner/Dragon by the Sea! In my opinion, they offer some of the best pizza on the island!
#7 Steamboat Wharf Pizza
From the first bite, I could tell that Steamboat Wharf Pizza doesn’t mess around when it comes to pizza. Their signature thin crust is cooked to perfection and their homemade sauce is made with flavorful and fresh ingredients.
The toppings are generous and plentiful without being an overload. The cheese melts nicely, and the vegetables are always crisp! Plus, they use only top-quality meats that take their pizzas to the next level.
I consider myself quite a pizza connoisseur, so it’s no surprise that I love Steamboat Wharf Pizza. Not only do they offer what is possibly the best pizza in Nantucket, but they also have a great selection of sides like wings and garlic bread. All of these items are sure to tantalize your taste buds!

The interior of the restaurant was comfortable and inviting, with a pleasant aroma of herbs and cheese wafting through the air. I immediately knew I was in for a treat!
The pizza menu was extensive, but I opted to try one of their signature pizzas: the Sicilian Delight. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with a hint of oregano and garlic butter that added an extra zing. The toppings were plentiful, featuring tangy salami, sautéed mushrooms, gooey mozzarella cheese, and spicy pepperoni. The flavors all blended together nicely in each bite!
I also had their house salad as an appetizer which included freshly crumbled feta cheese over a bed of crisp greens. This was followed by a smooth Italian espresso for dessert. Delicious!
It’s easy to see why Fusaro’s Homemade Italian is known for having some of the best pizza in Nantucket. If you’re ever in town, be sure to stop by this unique eatery to take your taste buds on a culinary adventure!
#9 Pi Pizzeria

I was struck by the quaint atmosphere when I first stepped in – the restaurant had a nice tourist-friendly vibe to it. The pies were well-crafted and very tasty! And, best of all, they served alcohol (including hard liquor for those with more discerning tastes).
For vegetarians like myself, there were also some really great meatless options on the menu. Plus, for dessert there was something for everyone – from classic chocolate cake to a delicious tiramisu.
The only downside I could find was that Pi Pizzeria didn’t offer delivery service. But if you’re looking for an amazing pie in Nantucket and don’t mind visiting the restaurant, thenPi Pizzeria is your best bet.
