I was instantly impressed when I stepped into Modern Apizza. The atmosphere is inviting and the restaurant has a pleasant vibe. I didn’t have to wait very long for my order either, which was great!

Upon walking into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a real treat. The decor perfectly encapsulated the classic Italian vibe with red-checkered tablecloths and a tiled oven visible from the counter. As soon as I took my seat, I got a whiff of the fresh dough baking in the oven and oh boy did it smell delicious!
I had the pleasure of trying their signature pizza—a thin-crust classic Margherita pie loaded with mozzarella and tomato that was simply divine. Every bite was bursting with flavor and the crust was soft yet crispy at the same time. To top it off, they weren’t stingy on toppings either which is always important to me!
The service at Casa Bianca Pizza New Haven was also quite remarkable. Our waiter, Michael, really put an emphasis on making sure we had everything we needed and that our experience exceeded expectations. He definitely deserves some credit for his professionalism as well— something you don’t often find in other restaurants.

From the moment I stepped through the door I felt like family. The owners, who are actually related, were warm and welcoming. As soon as I sat down at the table, they brought over a small plate of complimentary appetizers that were absolutely delicious.
The pizza menu had so many great choices that it was hard to decide what to order! Finally, I settled on a Mediterranean style pizza with feta cheese, olives, and artichokes. It was fantastic – crunchy crust cooked perfectly to golden perfection and toppings that were so fresh you could taste the difference. Each bite was even more flavorful than the last.
