#1 Unregular Pizza

The atmosphere is cozy, with a chalkboard wall with quirky daily specials. From the moment we stepped in, the friendly staff made us feel right at home and ensured our experience was top-notch.
The pizza itself was nothing short of divine. The crust is thin and crispy, baked to perfection. The sauce and cheese were delicious and just the right amount for each slice. Toppings are unique and varied; from pepperoni to artichoke hearts to jalapenos – it’s like every pizza has its own story! Whatever your preference is, you’re sure to find something that satisfies your taste buds.
The one thing I especially appreciate about Unregular Pizza is that it focuses on quality over quantity – every bite tastes better than the last! #3 Rubirosa
- Has some vegetarian options
- Nice tourist spot
- Has insanely good dessert
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
I was skeptical at first – the restaurant had such a long and storied reputation, I expected my expectations to be met with disappointment. But when the steaming-hot, cheesy three-cheese marinara pizza arrived at my table, I knew that all doubts were unfounded.
The crust was perfectly crispy, but still chewy; it had just enough compaction to hold up when bitten into. The cheese and tomato sauce were perfectly balanced – not too greasy or sweet – and the flavors melded together in a way that was both familiar and comforting.
But what really put Rubirosa over the top for me wasn’t just their perfect pizza recipes, but their attention to detail. Every single topping is made on site and prepared with love, ensuring a level of freshness you won’t find elsewhere! Even their drinks – from sodas to craft beers – felt like an extension of their menu. It was all part of an experience that I can confidently declare to be the best pizza in Noho!

The pizza itself did not disappoint! I’d heard that coal-fired pizzas were legendary for their crispy and smoky crusts, but it was even better than I had expected! Every single bite was loaded with flavor – rich tomato sauce, savory meats and fresh vegetables, all baked to perfection in the hot coal oven. My favorite would have to be the pepperoni pizza – it has won numerous awards and I can see why!
