After tasting 12 different pizza places in the city, I’m ready to share my findings. It was a tough job, but somebody had to do it!

The pizzas I tasted ranged from traditional classics to unexpected flavors. Some were shockingly bad, while others were surprisingly good. In the end, one place stood above the rest as the best of them all. Let’s get started!

#1 Hideaway Pizza

When I arrived at this popular tourist spot, I was happy to learn that they serve alcohol. There’s also a great kid’s menu for my little ones and some vegetarian options for my plant-based friends.

The pizza? Insanely good. Everything from the crust to the toppings is perfection. But the highlight of Hideaway Pizza has got to be their dessert. They are truly mouthwatering with every bite!

On top of all of that, they have plenty of TVs so you can catch the big game while enjoying your meal. However, one downside is that they don’t offer delivery (which would be quite beneficial).

All in all, I’d recommend Hideaway Pizza to anyone looking for the best pizza in Norman – and maybe even beyond!

#2 Stars and Stripes Pizza of Norman

I was floored from my first bite. This pizza is nothing short of amazing. The crust is light and airy, with just the right amount of crunch. The toppings are fresh and the sauce is perfectly balanced – not too spicy, not too sweet.

The presentation of the pizza was also impressive. Stars and Stripes has mastered their art, creating pies that look as delicious as they taste! The presentation alone puts them at the top of my list for best pizza in Norman.

The service at Stars and Stripes was also spot on. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about their menu items, which made ordering a breeze!

Overall, I’m giving my seal of approval to Stars and Stripes Pizza of Norman for having some of the best pizza in Norman. If you’re ever in town looking for a great pizza experience, don’t hesitate to give them a try – you definitely won’t regret it!

#3 The Pizza Shop

First off, the atmosphere of the restaurant is great. They have a laid back and family friendly vibe that makes it easy to relax while you wait for your food to be served.

The pizza itself is incredible! The crust is perfectly thin and crunchy, with just the right amount of charring on the edges. The sauce is zesty and full of flavor, and they use quality cheeses that really bring out all the flavors in the pizza.

Toppings-wise, I’ve sampled a variety of different pizzas at The Pizza Shop, and each one has been packed with deliciousness. There’s no shortage of toppings here — from standard ingredients like pepperoni and mushrooms to more creative combinations like artichoke hearts, feta cheese and Kalamata olives.

To top it all off, their prices are very reasonable considering the quality of their food. A large pizza will set you back just $16 dollars (not including toppings), which really makes this one of the best values around!

#4 Sergio’s Italian Bistro

I had heard from friends that Sergio’s was the place to go for amazing pizza, and as soon as I walked in, I was not disappointed. The restaurant was inviting and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items.

The pizza options at Sergio’s ranged from classic Italian flavors like marinara and pepperoni to more creative recipes like pineapple and jalapeño. I decided to go with the house speciality – a deep dish pizza with sausage, mushrooms, olives and bell peppers.

The crust was perfectly crunchy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, with an excellent balance of sweet, savory and spicy notes. And of course all that cheese made it even more delicious!

Overall my experience at Sergio’s Italian Bistro was exceptional – definitely the best pizza in Norman! I can confidently say that if you’re looking for great pizza, this is definitely a spot to check out.

#5 Hideaway Pizza

The atmosphere at Hideaway Pizza is awesome. It’s a great place to watch sports with its huge TVs and fun vibe. Plus, it serves alcohol (including some hard liquor!), so those of us who are 21+ can really have a good time.

If you’ve got the little ones, they’ll love their kid’s menu! And for those of us looking to eat healthy(ish), there are even vegetarian options! If that wasn’t enough, they’ve also got dessert options available, which is always a plus in my book.

The only thing that would make Hideaway Pizza better? Delivery! Unfortunately, this pizza joint does not yet offer delivery services, but it’s still one of the best places to go for great pizza in Norman. Highly recommended!

#6 Tavola Pizzeria

I was absolutely astonished when I took my first bite of their classic margherita pizza. The thin crust was perfectly crispy on the outside, while still being soft and chewy on the inside. The tomato sauce had a nice tangy flavor that was balanced out by the creamy mozzarella cheese.

The toppings were also top-notch! They had all of my favorites like pepperoni and mushrooms, plus unique options like jalapeños and ricotta cheese. No matter what ingredients you choose, rest assured that the taste will be fully satisfying.

The atmosphere at Tavola Pizzeria is simply divine; it brings an Italian trattoria feel to Norman. With its quaint interior and pleasant outdoor seating area, it’s an ideal place to take a date or just enjoy some great pizza with friends. Plus, the friendly wait staff are always there to ensure your experience is perfect!

The first thing that I noticed when walking into Pizza Shuttle was the welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, even offering me a complimentary slice of their delicious pepperoni pizza!

As for their pizzas, they really know their stuff. The crust has the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, while the sauce and cheese are flavorful and perfectly seasoned. They offer a wide range of toppings so you’re sure to find something that pleases everyone in your party. My personal favorite is the Sicilian style with all the works!

Not only does Pizza Shuttle have great pizza, but they also serve other Italian dishes like calzones and stromboli. Plus, for those who are looking for an indulgence, they offer specialty desserts like Tiramisu and Cannolis!

I had the pleasure of visiting this quaint, local pizza joint and I’m happy to say that my taste buds were not disappointed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting – the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal.

The pizza was, quite simply, out of this world. They offer an impressive selection of toppings and crusts so you can customize your pizzas however you like. I opted for a pepperoni pie with extra cheese and it was heavenly! The ingredients were fresh and flavorful and the crust was cooked to perfection – buttery, crispy yet still chewy on the inside.

The service at DoubleDave’s Pizzaworks is also top notch. Everyone was friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed during my meal.

#9 Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe

It all starts with the perfect crust. It’s thin, crispy and chewy all at the same time – you just can’t find a better crust anywhere else.

Toppings are generous and delicious. From classic pepperoni to creative veggie combinations, it’s always cooked to perfection. The sauces are flavorful and not too overpowering. The cheese is always melted perfectly – never greasy or rubbery!

The atmosphere of Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe is always inviting, and really adds to the overall experience. From the warmly lit tables to soothing music in the background, you can relax while devouring your piping hot slice of pizza heaven!

And don’t forget the pickles! As their namesake implies, they offer delicious spicy pickles right on your table that add a great crunchy kick to each bite. They also have wonderful salads and appetizers as well as a full bar for those of you with more mature tastes.

If you’re looking for a delicious slice of pizza in Norman, I highly recommend Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe. Trust me – it’s better than anything you’ll get from your typical chain pizza joint!

#10 New York Pizza & Pasta

I had the pleasure of trying their classic margherita pizza, and fell in love at first bite. The crust was just thin and crispy enough, while the cheese was perfectly gooey, and that sauce- oh my! I’m not sure if they use magic to make it so good, but I’m willing to believe it.

The atmosphere of this cozy little pizza parlor is great too, with a fun New York style vibe. Everything from the decorations to the staff makes you feel like you’re eating right in New York City.

To top it all off, the prices are incredibly reasonable for pizza as delicious as this- making it an even better deal.

Overall, I can confidently say that New York Pizza & Pasta serves up some of the best pizza in Norman. If you’re ever in the area looking for a delicious pie, this is definitely worth checking out!

#11 Domino’s Pizza

I recently stopped by the Norman location and I was very impressed. The atmosphere was casual yet inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Plus, you can’t beat their prices.

The pizza here is simply divine. It’s perfectly cooked with a thin crispy crust, just the right amount of sauce, and plenty of delicious toppings. The cheese is also top notch – it melts in your mouth! Plus, they have a great selection of specialty pizzas as well as standard favorites like pepperoni and cheese.

I definitely recommend Domino’s Pizza if you’re looking for great-tasting pizza at an affordable price point. In my opinion, it is THE best pizza in Norman!

#12 Pizza Shuttle

I could hardly contain my excitement as I walked into Pizza Shuttle. The aroma of fresh pizza dough wafted through the air, and my stomach growled in anticipation.

The service was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable – they had a great selection of pizzas to choose from and were happy to accommodate special requests. I tried the spinach Alfredo pizza, and it was divine. It had just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings to make it a truly delectable Italian-inspired dish. The crust was perfectly cooked and had a nice crunch when bitten into.

I also tried the classic pepperoni pizza – what can I say? It was as good as Grandma’s home cooking! My only regret is not getting enough of it so that I could take some home for later!

Overall, I would highly recommend Pizza Shuttle for anyone looking for some delicious, authentic Italian-style pizza in Norman! I give them an A+ on both taste and service – you won’t be disappointed!
