I’ve been all over the world, tasting different pies in every style from classic Neopolitan to Chicago Deep Dish. After carefully reviewing 12 pizza places in Northern KY, I’m ready to share my findings!

I promise this won’t be just another dry review. Instead, you’ll get a humorous look at some of the best pizza places around. So join me on my quest for great pizza and find out which ones stand out above the rest.

#1 Pizza Hut Express

The pizza is cooked to perfection – the crust has a perfect crunch, while the sauce and cheese are flavorful without being too greasy. And the toppings are always fresh, never tasteless or canned.

It’s a great place to go eat with friends, as the ambiance of the restaurant is inviting and cozy, plus they have plenty of seating so you never have to wait too long for a table. Plus, the staff is always friendly and attentive.

Downsides? You can’t get them to deliver it to your door—you have to pick it up yourself (but trust me, it’s worth it!)

Overall, I give Pizza Hut Express an A+. In my opinion, it’s absolutely some of the best pizza in Northern KY!

#2 Alpha’s Home Town Pizza And Pasta

From the moment I walked through the door, I knew this place was special. The atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant, with a friendly staff that made me feel at home.

The pizza itself was outstanding. Not too greasy, but just the right amount of crunchiness on the crust and it had a perfect flavor. I especially loved their homemade marinara sauce, which had just the right level of acidity and sweetness – so delicious!

I also sampled some of their pasta dishes, which were equally as delicious as the pizza – perfectly cooked al dente noodles with flavorful sauces that really enhanced each bite!

When it comes to pizza in northern KY, Alpha’s Home Town Pizza And Pasta is definitely my top choice. If you’re looking for a great meal out of this region, look no further – give them a try today!

#3 Bourbon House Pizza

Firstly, the atmosphere was great – it was cozy and inviting. The service was attentive and friendly. On top of that, the staff gave us complimentary samples of a few of their signature pizzas, which tasted incredible!

The pizza itself was outstanding. The crust was thin and crispy but still had a nice chew to it. The toppings were fresh and flavorful – I especially enjoyed the combination of melted provolone cheese and Italian sausage!

Overall, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bourbon House Pizza to anyone looking for great pizza in Northern KY. At this point, I would even go so far as to say that it’s the best pizza I’ve tried north of the Ohio River!

#4 Breakers Grill

I recently visited this cozy pizza restaurant and was immediately taken aback by the knowledge and enthusiasm of the staff. From the start, I could tell that they were passionate about their craft. The owner, Robby, showed me around and even shared some of his favorite pizza recipes with me!

The experience didn’t end there. Once we got to the kitchen, I could tell why Breakers Grill is known for having some of the best pizza in Northern KY. Everything from the selection of classic pies to specialty pizzas was mouthwatering! Even more impressive were their use of fresh ingredients.

I had a chance to try a few different pies, including the classic Pepperoni Pizza and a unique Canadian Bacon & Pineapple Pizza – both of which exceeded my expectations by far!

To make things even better, Breakers Grill also offers delivery. So if you’re feeling too lazy to leave your house, you can still enjoy some amazingly delicious pizza without getting off your couch! All in all, a perfect combination of quality food and excellent service have made Breakers Grill stand out among other pizza places in Northern KY.

#5 Dewey’s Pizza

My first impression was their great atmosphere. It’s a nice tourist spot, and there’s an option for everyone—alcohol for the adults, and a kids’ menu for the kiddos. They also have some vegetarian options, which is always a plus. And as if that wasn’t enough, they offer dessert too!

The pizza itself was incredible. Toppings were plentiful, crust had just the right crunch to it, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. I’d be willing to bet that it would give any other pizza restaurant in Northern KY a run for its money!

The only downside is that Dewey’s Pizza doesn’t offer delivery. But with how great their pizza tasted, making the trip there is well worth it!

#6 Pieology Pizzeria

The first thing that I noticed upon entering the restaurant is the laidback atmosphere – it’s rustic and inviting. The staff was equally welcoming and accommodating; they were ready to answer all my questions about the ingredients and menu choices.

I decided to sample a variety of their offerings, and what I got was nothing short of amazing! Their California process had a perfect combination of flavorful sauce, toppings, and cheese, creating an incredible flavor profile. The white pizza with roasted garlic, spinach, artichoke hearts, feta cheese and olive oil was also excellent. Both pizzas were cooked perfectly – light yet crunchy crust, no sogginess here!

And the dessert? Oh wow! They have this new take on s’mores pizza that features melted marshmallows over graham cracker crust – it’s delicious!

All in all, my experience at Pieology Pizzeria was delightful. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking for a great evening out with friends or family. I highly recommend this place – trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed. Best pizza in Northern KY indeed!

#7 Rapid Fired Pizza

Their pizzas are always delivered quickly and are always hot and fresh. When I first tried their pizza, I noted the perfect ratio of sauce to cheese and then was amazed at the variety of toppings that they offered. Their classic pepperoni pie was especially flavorful.

The staff at Rapid Fired Pizza was friendly, welcoming, and had an obvious passion for what they do. They even offered me some behind-the-scenes insight into how they make their amazing pizzas! My favorite topping is their Greek Feta Chicken with Kalamata Olives – it truly raised the bar on flavor in a way that I never expected!

Overall, Rapid Fired Pizza has earned my seal of approval as having some of the best pizza in Northern KY. If you’re looking for a great pizza experience all around, look no further than Rapid Fired Pizza!

#8 Garzelli’s Pub & Pizza

This place really hit the spot. As a food critic, I was especially impressed by the variety of alcohol they serve – including hard liquor! Plus, they have a great kids menu so parents can bring their youngsters along for dinner. And if you still need more convincing to come here – it’s a great place to catch some sports on TV.

But my favorite part? The pizza, of course! They don’t skimp on their ingredients, and each slice is well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. And don’t forget about dessert! They also offer some delicious cannolis.

The only downside? No delivery option. But trust me – it’s worth the trip to Garzelli’s Pub & Pizza to enjoy some of the best pizza in Northern KY!

I walked in curious, not knowing what to expect from a place called Tom’s Papa Dino’s. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I knew this place would be something special.

The pizza selection was off the charts! From classic pepperoni to pesto with mushrooms to Hawaiian, it had something for everyone. I decided to go with the classic pepperoni pizza, which arrived at my table hot and fresh.

The crust was thin and perfect – not soggy like in so many places. The sauce was just the right amount of tangy; the pepperoni slices were crispy yet tender – a perfect combination that just melts in your mouth. I could tell this pizza was made with real love and passion!

I have tried some pretty amazing pizzas around the world, but none compare to Tom’s Papa Dino’s – truly one of Northern KY’s best pizzas around! Don’t take my word for it though – head over there for yourself and see what you think about their delicious pies!

#10 Poseidon’s Pizza

From the moment I stepped into Poseidon’s Pizza, I knew I was in for a treat. The place is bustling with activity and filled with the delightful aroma of pizza. As soon as I sat down, my mouth started to water from all of the pizzas parading by!

My order arrived quickly, and one bite confirmed my suspicions that this was some of the best pizza I had ever tasted. The crust was tender and lightly crisped on top, and each slice was loaded with gooey cheese and thick pepperoni slices. To top it off, there was a generous helping of zesty tomato sauce that brought everything together nicely.

The service at Poseidon’s Pizza was also quite good. My waiter arrived promptly with my order and took great care to explain all of the options before taking my order. He even gave me helpful suggestions when it came time to choose drinks and desserts!

The service is always friendly and helpful at Snappy Tomato. It’s easy to place orders over the phone or online – their website makes it super easy to customize your own pizza. Plus, they deliver right to your door with quick turnaround times!

I can confidently say that this place serves some of the best pizza in Northern KY. Give it a try – you won’t be disappointed!

#12 Poseidon’s Pizza

The service was great; everyone seemed to be in a great mood and happy to help. The staff was super friendly and even remembered our order after we’d been in only once before!

The pizza itself was out of this world. The crust had the perfect amount of crispness, the cheese melted perfectly into every slice, and the toppings were amazingly flavorful. I could honestly say that it’s one of the best I’ve ever tasted.

Overall, Poseidon’s Pizza is easily one of my favorite places for pizza in Northern KY and a place I know I’ll be visiting often in the future!

Best Deep Dish Pizza – Bourbon House Pizza

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was immediately hit with the delicious smell of pizza, parmesan, and the unmistakable aroma of bourbon. Yes, you read that correctly – this place serves alcohol! Finally, a pizza joint that understands my need for a cold beer with my cheesy, saucy slices of heaven.

Now, let’s talk about the pizza itself. The deep dish at Bourbon House Pizza is a glorious masterpiece. With a crust so thick and buttery, it could double as a deliciously edible Frisbee. The sauce is tangy and bursting with flavor, and the cheese, oh the cheese! It’s like a gooey, melty blanket of happiness, covering every inch of the pie. Trust me when I say, one slice will not be enough.

But wait, there’s more! Bourbon House Pizza also has insanely good desserts. Their bourbon-infused chocolate cake is to die for. Now, don’t get me wrong, I may have tasted pizzas in the land of pasta and gelato, but Florence, Kentucky is where the real magic happens. And by magic, I mean devouring slices of cheesy goodness without a care in the world.

What makes LaRosa’s standout? Well, for starters, they serve alcohol! And not just your run-of-the-mill beer and wine. Oh no, my friends, they have hard liquor! Nothing pairs better with a crispy thin crust than a nice refreshing cocktail.

Now, I know what you’re thinking, I’m a vegetarian, will they have anything for me? Fear not, my leaf-loving friends, LaRosa’s has got you covered. They offer some delectable vegetarian options that will have you forgetting all about those carnivorous cravings.

But wait, there’s more! LaRosa’s also serves dessert! Because what’s a pizza feast without a sweet treat to top it off? I highly recommend their tiramisu pizza, a dessert that combines the best of both worlds.

The location itself is a nice tourist spot too. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, LaRosa’s will make you feel welcome and satisfied.

However, I do have one bone to pick with them. They don’t accept reservations! So, be prepared to wait or use your charm to sweet talk your way into a table. Although, waiting for a taste of their heavenly thin crust is a sacrifice well worth making, my friends.
