I’ve been around the world in search of some finger-licking good pizza, and this time I’m bringing you my take on what’s the best in Ocean City MD. #1 DeVito’s Italian Deli & Sub

I was immediately drawn in by the authentic Italian decor, complete with red-and-white checked tablecloths and a statue of Francesco DeVito himself. The friendly staff were always eager to provide a helpful recommendation and make sure I had a great experience.

The pizza itself is like nothing I’ve tasted before. They use only the freshest ingredients and traditional Italian techniques to create a pizza that is simply divine. The sauce is rich and flavorful, the crust perfect – not too thick or too thin – and the toppings are cooked to perfection. And I absolutely love the unique and varied combinations they offer.

All in all, DeVito’s Italian Deli & Sub is my favorite place for pizza when in Ocean City MD! If you’d like to have an amazing pizza experience, this is the place to go!

#2 Flavors of Italy NY

This place is a must-visit for pizza aficionados. The thin crusts are cooked to perfection– golden brown and crispy on the outside, light and airy on the inside. The flavors of their delicious sauces blend perfectly with their blend of cheeses, and they make sure each bite is loaded with toppings that bring out the flavor.

I tried both their classic Margherita Pizza and their signature Italian sausage pizza. Both were outstanding! The Margherita had a delicious balance of sweet tomatoes, creamy mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, and a hint of garlic that lingered on my palate. As for the Italian sausage pizza, wow! It was like a symphony of flavors where every bite was better than the last.

The staff at Flavors of Italy NY were also amazing! They made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. They patiently answered all our questions about their menu selections, offered suggestions for pairing beverages with our meals, and even recommended some great desserts to top off our meal.

#3 Trattoria Lombardi’s Restaurant

The atmosphere in this restaurant is amazing. It’s a great tourist spot with a relaxing atmosphere. They offer beer and hard liquor, making it the perfect spot to enjoy some Italian cuisine. They also have options for vegetarians, which is always appreciated by food critics like me.

What really impressed me was their kid’s menu – many restaurants don’t think to offer kids anything creative when it comes to pizza, but Trattoria Lombardi’s did an excellent job coming up with fun and appetizing options. If you’re looking for dessert after your meal, they’ve got that too!

The only downside I can think of is that they don’t offer delivery service – if you want to get their delicious pizza, you’ll need to come take advantage of their great atmosphere in-person. But trust me – it’s worth it!

#4 Albertino’s Brick Oven Eatery

I’ve been to top-notch pizzerias in Italy, New York, and beyond—and this restaurant definitely holds its own. The crust is cooked perfectly every time, the sauce is divine, and the toppings are nicely distributed without being overpowering. It’s simply delicious.

What really sets Albertino’s apart from other pizza places is the addition of alcoholic beverages (and hard liquor!) to their menu. Enjoying a great slice of pizza with a cold beer or a glass of wine is truly an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend!

Aside from their adult beverages, Albertino’s also offers kid-friendly options such as macaroni and cheese or chicken fingers. And at the end of your meal, you can indulge in some insanely good desserts like their famous cheesecake or chocolate mousse cake.

The only downside I could find with this place was that they don’t offer delivery—but it’s more than worth it to take the extra step of actually going there for your pizza fix. With its convenient location off the coast highway, Albertino’s Brick Oven Eatery is also an ideal spot for tourists looking for a great meal during their stay in Ocean City MD!

#5 Mione’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant

On my first visit, I knew I was in for something special. The place was extremely inviting with its cozy Italian decor, and the aroma of freshly-made pizzas really caught my attention.

My server, Giovanni, was extremely friendly and helpful. He recommended their signature meat lover’s pizza – wow what a treat! It had all the perfect toppings: salami, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, red onions and black olives. The tastiness of each ingredient was on another level!

I also couldn’t resist trying their garlic knots – perfection! And the Parmesan cheese tastes like it’s been aged to perfection.

Overall, Mione’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant has won me over as a fan. From their delicious food to their attentive service – they have earned my highest rating! Without a doubt, Mione’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant has become one of my favorite stops on my global travels for the best pizza in Ocean City MD!

#6 Ponzetti’s Pizza

The atmosphere was enjoyable, and the staff warm and welcoming. The selection of local beers served gave the perfect background buzz to go along with the sports games playing on the TVs. And for families, their kid’s menu was a great way to keep everyone happy.

But, most important of all was the taste of the pizza. It was cooked perfectly—the sauce had just enough spice and tomato flavor, and there were plenty of options for toppings. To top it off (literally!) there were also dessert options which hit the spot after dinner!

Though there’s no delivery option, I would highly recommend Ponzetti’s Pizza as a great spot to enjoy dinner while in Ocean City MD. You won’t regret it!

#7 Squarz Pizza & Restaurant

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this hidden gem! The pizza is cooked to perfection and their popular Miami Heat Pie is the most delicious pie I’ve ever had. The crust is perfectly crisp, the tomato sauce rich and flavorful, and the cheese feels like it was made specifically for this pizza.

The atmosphere in here is great too. It’s cozy, inviting, and you can tell everyone who works there really cares about providing an enjoyable experience. All of the workers are friendly and attentive, they make sure to answer any questions you may have and are eager to recommend their favorite slices.

I also really appreciate that they offer gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions. This lets everyone enjoy great tasting pizza no matter what your diet looks like!

The atmosphere is nothing like the hustle and bustle of the city streets, with a truly relaxed, coastal vibe. The staff was really friendly and helpful too!

But it’s all about the pizza here – let me tell you, my taste buds were in heaven! Piezano’s Pizza has some of the freshest ingredients I’ve ever encountered. Their recipes pack a unique flavor punch that can’t be beaten. The slices are generously-sized and always cooked perfectly so it never feels like you’re eating rubber.

One thing I’d definitely recommend at Piezano’s is to try their deep dish pizza if you’re feeling extra hungry. It’s one of the best things on their menu, as far as I’m concerned – from the flavorful topping combinations to the thick yet crispy crust… it’ll leave your mouth watering for more!

I highly recommend giving Piezano’s Pizza a try if you’re in Ocean City MD looking for an unforgettable pizza experience. It just might be the best pie in town!

#9 Grotto Pizza

My first impression was “wow” and I’m not even joking. The atmosphere was nothing like I’d seen before – it had a cozy, inviting vibe that made me feel like I was part of a family.

The pizzas themselves were amazing as well! They had all the usual suspects in terms of toppings, but what sets Grotto Pizza apart is their unique combination of flavors. From the classic Margherita pizza to the veggie-crusted Calabrese pie, every slice was incredibly delicious!

What’s more, Grotto Pizza doesn’t stop there: they also serve an extensive selection of side dishes and desserts. From garlic knots to creamy cannoli, my dining experience at this restaurant was absolutely delightful.

#10 Ocean Bites

The crust was thin and crispy, just like I like it. And the tomato sauce was full of flavor and packed with Italian spices. The cheese was stringy and melted in my mouth – absolutely delicious!

And that’s not all! They had a wide selection of toppings to choose from: peppers, olives, mushrooms, onions … you name it! The combinations were endless and I could really customize my pizza however I wanted.

The staff at Ocean Bites was also top-notch. Everyone was friendly and helpful, always willing to answer any questions about the pizzas.

At the end of the day, I walked out feeling more than satisfied – this place really is one of the best pizza places in Ocean City MD. If you’re ever in town looking for a great slice of pie, check out Ocean Bites – you won’t be disappointed!

#11 Four Seasons Pizza OC

From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew this place was special. The inviting atmosphere and open kitchen provided me with a peak at the fresh ingredients.

When the pizza arrived, it was love at first bite. The crust was cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. Topping options were plentiful and flavorful, including anchovies, salami, bell peppers and black olives.

The staff were also friendly and helpful – a rarity in a food critic’s line of work! They explained their cooking process as well as their unique topping combinations.

In conclusion, Four Seasons Pizza OC is my top pick for best pizza in Ocean City MD!

#12 Ledo Pizza

On my recent visit to this seaside town, I couldn’t resist the temptation of Ledo. I ordered the classic pepperoni pizza and it didn’t disappoint. The crust was buttery, the sauce was deliciously zesty, and the pepperoni had just enough kick. Plus, you can never go wrong with a little extra cheese!

The restaurant has something for everyone- there’s a kid’s menu, some vegetarian options for those looking for something healthier, and they even offer dessert. And if you’re on vacation, it’s a great place to check out; after all, they’re only a few blocks from the beach.

My only complaint? Unfortunately, they don’t deliver so you’ll have to go in person to get your hands on this deliciousness. But trust me: it’s worth it.
