#1 Pinyon Ojai
- Offers dessert
- Nice tourist spot
- Serves alcohol
- Has some vegetarian options
As soon as I walked into Pinyon Ojai, the smells of the freshly-baked cheese and tomato sauce hit me right away. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting – just what you’d expect from a great pizza joint.
The menu had all sorts of unique pizzas with a variety of toppings. After careful deliberation, I settled on their classic cheese pizza with pepperoni. The crust was perfectly baked with a slightly crisp outer layer and fluffy center – exactly how it should be! The combination of the melty cheese, sweet tomato sauce, and salty pepperoni were mind-blowingly delicious.
I also tried their dessert pizza which had a delightful cookie-dough base topped with sliced strawberries in an amazing almond cream sauce. This is definitely one of those dishes that you’ll remember for years to come!
In short, the pizza at Pinyon Ojai is absolutely divine and beats any pizza I’ve ever had before – bar none! If you’re lucky enough to find yourself in Ojai one day, make sure to stop by Pinyon Ojai for some seriously good eats!

#2 Papa Lennon’s
- Has insanely good dessert
- Nice tourist spot
- Serves alcohol
- Has some vegetarian options
- Has a kid’s menu
- No delivery
It was an experience like no other. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for friends and family alike.
The menu boasted an array of classic pizza options as well as plenty of vegetarian options for those looking for something a bit more health-conscious. On top of that, there’s also a kid’s menu available – talk about accommodating! And to make things even better, this place serves alcohol – what more could you want?
But let me tell you, it’s Papa Lennon’s desserts that are the real star of the show. Believe me when I say they are insanely good – definitely not something to miss out on!
The only downside: there is no delivery option here. However, with so much else to offer (including a great spot for sightseers), it’s hard to complain too much.
All in all, if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Ojai then Papa Lennon’s should be your go-to spot!
#3 Ojai Pizza Company, Oak View
- Has a kid’s menu
- Offers dessert
- Has some vegetarian options
- Serves alcohol
- Great place to watch sports
My first impressions of the place were spot on. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, complete with an old-fashioned pizza oven in the corner. The staff are friendly and accommodating, always willing to answer questions about the menu or make suggestions.
As for the pizza itself, wow! It’s just the right combination of crunchy crust, flavorful sauce, and perfectly cooked toppings. Everything is cooked perfectly – not too crispy, not too soggy – just delicious. I recommend trying one of their specialty pies like their Bacon & Mushroom or Western Barbecue Chicken! They also offer a nice selection of calzones and stromboli if you’re feeling adventurous!
The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of ingredients they use. All in all, I’d highly recommend Ojai Pizza Company to anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Ojai (which is saying a lot coming from someone who has tasted pizza around the world!).
#4 Ojai Pizza Company
- Nice tourist spot
- Has a kid’s menu
- Has some vegetarian options
- Offers dessert
- Serves alcohol
I had the opportunity to try a combination of their pizzas. One was a 12” thin-crust Italian sausage pizza, and the other was a 14” pesto white pizza with artichoke hearts. Both were delicious! The crust on each was light and airy, yet surprisingly chewy. The Italian sausage pizza had just the right amount of spice, while the pesto white pizza had just enough pesto to give it that special zing without being overpowering.
The staff at Ojai Pizza Company are friendly and attentive. They treat each customer like family and make sure everyone is happy with their meal. I could tell they put a lot of pride into their product and take extra care to make sure it’s perfect every time.
If you’re ever in Ojai looking for great pizza, be sure to visit Ojai Pizza Company! It will definitely be some of the best pizza you can find in town!

#5 Boccali’s Pizza & Pasta

- Has some vegetarian options
- No delivery
Upon entering this quaint restaurant, I was immediately greeted with a warm smile and a selection of local wines. It’s the perfect spot for an evening out whether you’re with your friends, family or even traveling tourists.
I started off my meal with one of their great appetizers – they were amazing! I followed that up with a hearty plate of vegetarian lasagna and it was as delicious as advertised.
But where Boccali’s really shines is in its pizza offerings – they have some of the best pies in town! The crust was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of crunch. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, giving each bite the perfect balance between sweet and savory.
One thing to note is that Boccali’s does not offer delivery; however, this shouldn’t stop anyone from visiting because not only is it worth the drive but they also have an impressive kid’s menu. In addition to all this, their desserts are out-of-this-world good!
All in all, I can confidently say that Boccali’s Pizza & Pasta has some of the best pizza in Ojai!
#6 Boccali’s Pizza & Pasta
- Has a kid’s menu
- Offers dessert
- Has some vegetarian options
- Nice tourist spot
At first glance, the restaurant looks like most other pizza places – plenty of tables and booths, a few TVs here and there, the usual pizza joint décor. But don’t be fooled; looks can be deceiving!
I was curious to see how their pizza compared to others I’d tried around the world, so I decided to order the Supreme. One bite and my curiosity was satiated – this was some of the best pizza I’ve ever tasted! The crust was just firm enough to hold all of that delicious meat and vegetable topping, which were layered perfectly from top to bottom. And don’t get me started on their homemade tomato sauce – simply divine!
My only complaint about Boccali’s is that their service can be a bit slow at times. But considering what amazing pizza they make here, it’s worth waiting for! If you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Ojai, look no further than Boccali’s Pizza & Pasta. Highly recommend!

#8 Domino’s Pizza
From the first bite of the crunchy crust to the final cheesy slice, there’s no doubt that Domino’s care about making every slice delicious. The toppings are also top-notch – I sampled a variety of pizzas, and they were all bursting with flavor.
The sign outside may say “Fast and Delicious,” but that doesn’t mean it sacrifices quality. They still take time to make sure their pizzas are cooked perfectly and have just the right amount of cheesy goodness!
Aside from the pizza itself, the atmosphere at Domino’s is great too. The restaurant has an old-school charm that makes you feel like you’re in a classic Italian trattoria. There’s even a cozy outdoor seating area – perfect for enjoying some slices in the fresh air.
All things considered, it’s safe to say that if you’re looking for amazing pizza in Ojai, Domino’s Pizza should be your first choice. You won’t be disappointed!
#9 Daniel Inc
I’m a food critic so I’ve tasted quite a few pizzas in my travels, but none quite like the ones at Daniel Inc. The crust was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The secret may be that they use an old-fashioned brick oven—it’s something about the heat that lends itself to giving the pizza its distinctive flavor.
The toppings are where Daniel Inc really shines. From classic pepperoni to creative combinations of sausage, olives, and peppers, their selection of toppings is vast and truly varied. And let me tell you—no matter what combination of toppings you choose, it will be delicious!
The atmosphere at Daniel Inc is also worth mentioning: it’s pizzeria perfection! The restaurant itself isn’t too big or too small—everything just feels comfortable and cozy as soon as you walk in. Plus they have great music playing throughout the place which only adds to the appeal.
At the end of the day, I can honestly say that Daniel Inc has some of the best pizza in Ojai. If you haven’t been yet—go now! You won’t regret it.

#11 Olivella
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- Has some vegetarian options
- Has insanely good dessert
- Nice tourist spot
- No delivery
I found the classic Italian ingredients combined with some unique flavors that I’ve never seen before. The pizzas were cooked to perfection and had a great texture.
The real highlights, though, were the desserts. They had an insanely good cheesecake that I could recommend for days (and usually do!).
The atmosphere was amazing too! Tourists come here all the time, it has become a bit of a hot spot for locals as well, despite being somewhat off the beaten path. They even have hard liquor available for those who want to take their evening up a notch! Plus, they offer vegetarian options that are just as tasty as the regular pies.
My only complaint is that Olivella doesn’t offer delivery service, but that’s not really an issue if you’re in town or just want to make the drive out there. Trust me when I say it’s worth it if you’re looking for some delicious pizza!
#12 Nocciola
- Nice tourist spot
- Has insanely good dessert
- Serves alcohol
- No delivery
The crust was perfectly crunchy, the cheese melted wonderfully and the sauce was delicious. Just writing about it now has my mouth watering! I definitely recommend coming here for a slice (or two or three).
Another reason to visit Nocciola is that they serve alcohol. Whether you’re grabbing a beer with your pizza or just want a glass of wine, this spot can definitely quench your thirst.
But the best part of Nocciola is their dessert selection. The cookies are insanely good – they literally melt in your mouth! Their ice cream is also top-notch if you’re looking for something really sweet after your meal.
However, if you’re looking for delivery options, you won’t find it at Nocciola. But on the bright side, it’s in such an amazing tourist spot that you won’t be able to resist checking out the area while picking up your order.
All-in-all, Nocciola is a great spot to experience some of the best pizza in Ojai! So if you ever find yourself wanting an amazing slice, head over to this place – it won’t disappoint!
