After being all over the world tasting pizza, I finally made it to Oro Valley and I was excited to try out some of their best spots. With my trusty notepad and pizza-prowess in tow, I set off to sample 12 pizzerias.

As soon as I stepped in the door, I knew I was going to have a great experience. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and ready to make my pizza exactly how I wanted it.

The atmosphere of MOD Pizza is delightful. There’s plenty of seating and always a fun vibe in the air. The best part is that they have TVs mounted all around allowing customers to enjoy watching their favorite sports teams while eating delicious pizza!

The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. Whether you want classic New York Style or Mediterranean-inspired flavors, there’s an option for you! And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can even create your own custom pie from their selection of fresh ingredients and sauces.

I ordered a pizza based on one of the restaurant’s recipes, which was loaded with pepperoni and mushrooms. In just minutes it went from order to table, perfectly cooked with a crisp crust and bubbling cheese – a sign of real Naples flair!

The place itself is a wonderful tourist spot, too. It has a cozy atmosphere and they even serve alcohol – including hard liquor! On top of that, they have a kid’s menu, some vegetarian options and their desserts are insanely good.

But maybe the best part about Bottega Michelangelo is the pizza! They use only the highest quality ingredients and their pizzas have that perfect balance of flavor, texture and presentation. Every bite was a treat for my taste buds.

The only downside I could identify was that they don’t offer delivery service; you have to get your delicious pizza in-house. But really, it’s worth taking an extra minute or two to come here – this is definitely some of the best pizza in Oro Valley.

#3 Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza

The first thing that struck me as I walked into this pizza joint was the smell of freshly baked dough. Delicious! But what really sealed the deal for me was the variety of options they offer. When I walked into the restaurant, I was immediately impressed with the cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I could tell that they really enjoyed their job. When I stepped inside, the delicious smell of fresh oregano and garlic wafted through the air. The walls were festively decorated with colorful Italian murals and gleaming copper accents.

The staff was friendly and courteous, turning my unpleasant travel day into a great experience. Even before I’d ordered anything, they had already given me some great suggestions on what to get.

As soon as I walked in, I knew I was in for a great experience. The inviting atmosphere, with its wood-fired oven, made me feel like I had stepped into an Italian kitchen. And the smell of freshly cooked pizza was heavenly!

The staff was also top-notch. Not only were they friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, but they also gave great recommendations about different pizzas and sides to try. They even presented their house specialty with pride.

The pizza itself was absolutely amazing! The crust had the perfect crunch, yet still remained light and fluffy on the inside; it melted in my mouth! The toppings were fresh and flavorful, from the sausages to the mushrooms – each bite just got better and better. To top it all off, they use local ingredients that really added a unique flavor and authenticity to each slice.

Overall, Catalina Craft Pizza has taken my taste buds on a journey to Italy without ever leaving Oro Valley! From the atmosphere to the quality of pizza – this place truly is one of the best spots around town for delicious pizza.

I had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant recently and was absolutely blown away. The crust was perfectly crisped, yet still chewy on the inside and had a great balance of herb and garlic flavors. The sauce was sweet without being overpowering and had a nice, creamy consistency. And don’t even get me started on the cheese – it was melty perfection!

The atmosphere at Scordato’s is also top notch. There’s a cozy, welcoming vibe that you can’t help but feel when you walk in. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and ever-so-knowledgeable about their food. They even let me pick out my own toppings!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the effort put into each pie. Everything from the perfectly cooked crust and flavorful sauce to the variety of toppings, it’s clear that Charred Pie takes its pizza seriously.

One thing that really sets this place apart from all the others I’ve tried is that they offer alcohol and a kid’s menu so everyone can enjoy their tasty pies. Plus, you can finish off your meal with a delicious dessert – just another bonus!

The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery, but if you’re in the area you have to go check it out anyway. It definitely makes for a nice tourist spot as well!

When I walked in, I was overwhelmed by the fantastic aroma of pizza and beer. The menu had a wide variety of pizzas to choose from, so it was hard to decide which one to get! After some deliberation, I decided to order the Classic Cheese pizza.

The pizza came out perfectly cooked and piping hot, with a perfectly browned crust. Every bite was simply heavenly; the cheese was melty and flavorful, the sauce was robust, and the slices were nice and thin – just how I like them.

I wasn’t surprised at all that this is considered one of the best places for pizza in Oro Valley. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun; there are TVs all over showing sports games, giving it a real sports pub feel. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful – they even offered me recommendations for different toppings!

#12 Sauce Pizza & Wine

The atmosphere of the place is great; it’s cozy, charming, and inviting. Even though I was the only one in there at the time, it still felt like a warm oasis to enjoy a good meal.

When my pizza arrived I was immediately blown away by both its aroma and its flavor. The crust was cooked to perfection and had just enough crunch. Each ingredient on top of the pizza blended together in wonderfully complex ways that created an array of flavor not seen elsewhere. The combination of tomato sauce, cheese, vegetables, herbs and spices created a unique taste that can only be described as heaven-sent!

AS for the wine selection they had everything from sweet whites to robust reds to go with any type of pizza imaginable.
