I’ve been around the world in search of delicious pizza, and as a result I know how challenging it can be to find the best of the best. So I set out on a mission to try at least twelve different pizza places in Plantation FL, and report back my findings.

#1 Mr D’s Pizza

I’m sure that before I even arrived, there were expectations of what a pizza restaurant should be. I think Mr D’s exceeded mine! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. It felt like you could sit there with your friends for hours.

The menu didn’t disappoint either–it had plenty of options to choose from, including some not so traditional items like calzones and stuffed garlic knots. I decided to order the #1 specialty pizza which had pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions and green peppers on it; it looked delicious.

But let me tell you, the taste was outstanding. The crust was perfectly cooked with the perfect amount of crunch and the sauce had a depth of flavor that made me keep coming back for more! All of the toppings were cooked to perfection, providing plenty of flavor and texture in each bite. It definitely lived up to its reputation as one of the best pizzas in Plantation FL!

#2 Il Baretto Ristorante

When I first walked into Il Baretto Ristorante, I was immediately impressed with the cozy atmosphere. The interior was warm and inviting, with dark wood paneling and low lighting that set the perfect mood for a great meal.

The waitstaff were friendly and knowledgeable and they recommended some great pizzas to start off my meal. As soon as my pizza arrived I knew why they had made the recommendation. The crust was chewy yet crunchy, the tomato-basil sauce was flavor saturated and fragrant and the cheese blend perfectly melted in my mouth.

I am quite confident in saying that this is some of the best pizza in Plantation FL – if not all of Florida! The flavors were complex enough to satisfy even the most experienced palate while also being accessible enough to be enjoyed by everyone who tries it. Beyond that, the prices are really good and you get plenty of food for what you pay for.

#3 Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings

The pizza is amazing—cooked in a coal-fired oven that really brings out the flavor and keeps it nice and crispy. The toppings are fresh and the crust is made with a unique combination of cheese, oil, and spices that make each slice truly exceptional.

I also tried their wings, which were delicious too! They were cooked to perfection and served with an array of sauces from mild to spicy.

The atmosphere was great as well – the restaurant has a lively vibe with old wood paneling on the walls and Italian music playing in the background. Plus, the staff was super friendly and attentive.

All in all, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings quickly became one of my favorite pizza places I’ve ever visited. If you’re in Plantation FL looking for some truly delicious pizza and wings, this is definitely your spot!

This place has it all. The crust is out-of-this-world delicious, with the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy. The sauce is equally as satisfying: full of bright, Mediterranean flavors that really shine. And the toppings? Well, you can tell they don’t skimp on quality!

My favorite pizza is their Sicilian Special: a mix of sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and peppers. It’s an unforgettable flavor combination that will have you salivating for more! Of course, I must also mention their famous calzone – something between a turnover and a pizza pocket – it’s super cheesy and decadent!

#5 Pizza Lovers Bistro

I was skeptical at first, but the moment I took my first bite, I knew they weren’t exaggerating. The dough was perfectly cooked with a nice crispy crust, the sauce was flavorful and not too sweet and the toppings were top-notch. The combination of all these elements made for a pizza that totally knocked my socks off!

As if that wasn’t enough, the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere perfect for sharing some delicious pizza with friends and family. The staff are always friendly and helpful in guiding you through deciding what kind of pizza is best for you. Plus, they have a wide variety of drinks that make it easy to find something to pair with your meal.

#6 Pieology Pizzeria Plantation

The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, and I was truly impressed by the quality of service. The staff was incredibly friendly, almost as if they’d been expecting me since my arrival!

I decided to try the signature pizza – a 10-inch thin dough base with classic Italian tomato sauce, fiery pepperoni and mozzarella. The flavors were intense and delicious! The dough was light, airy, and perfectly cooked. Each bite was like a transported back to Italy itself! Other menu highlights include their chicken wings with a variety of sauces, tacos and even salads.

My experience at Pieology Pizzeria Plantation was top notch in all areas – from their creative variety of toppings to their attentive service. Honestly, it’s some of the best pizza I’ve ever had – no exaggeration! If you’re looking for the best pizza experience in Plantation FL, then Pieology Pizzeria Plantation should be your top choice!

#7 Gianna’s Pizza Center

My first bite of their cheese pizza was incredible. The crust was perfectly fluffy and had a nice crunch to it, and the sauce was flavorful and well-balanced. There’s no question that Gianna knows how to make pizza!

The toppings were just as impressive – they were generous without overpowering the flavor. And believe me, I know what good toppings look like! Plus, the size of their slices means you can get away with ordering one pizza for two people!

Their specialty pizzas are out of this world too. The Margherita Pizza is like a work of art – I even took a picture of it before devouring it (I have to do my job, after all!).

On top of tasty pizza, Gianna’s Pizza Center also offers an inviting atmosphere. It’s cozy but not cramped, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Plus, the prices are reasonable for their offerings.

The atmosphere here is always buzzing with energy. I’m quite sure the locals know they’ve got something special and can’t help but come back and enjoy it over and over again.

Not only does Stromboli Pizza have a wide variety of traditional pizzas, but they also have some truly creative pies on their menu. One of my favorites is their Carolina Reaper pizza – that stuff will definitely set your taste buds ablaze! That’s why I always come back to this place – because there’s no telling what unexpected flavor combinations you might discover.

And the crust? Oh man, this stuff is beyond comparison! You might ask how a pizza joint in Plantation could possibly make one of the best crusts around, and I can assure you that it has something to do with all the love and attention that goes into each pie.

From the moment I stepped in the door, I knew I was in for a treat. The inviting and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and upbeat. When my order was ready, I could tell that it wasn’t just any ordinary pizza. Each slice smelled like little morsels of heaven, and each bite brought me further into the depths of cheesy deliciousness.

The toppings were fresh and varied – from mushrooms to olives to pepperoni – they had everything I could ever hope for in a pizza experience. The texture of the crust was perfectly crisp on the outside while still being light and fluffy inside. Every bite felt like it melted in my mouth!

#10 Vivace Gourmet Pizza & Pasta

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was impressed by the cozy, inviting atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly, and they made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal.

When it came to the pizza itself, I was blown away! They use only the freshest ingredients for their pies, and each one is cooked to perfection in their wood-fired oven. The crust was golden brown and crispy on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside. Plus, their toppings are so flavorful and creative – like their pesto pizza with spicy Italian sausage, ricotta cheese and garden-fresh herbs. It truly tastes like a bite of Italy!

For dessert, try one of their chocolate pizzas – you won’t regret it! Topped with a generous helping of Nutella alongside chopped hazelnuts, this indulgence will satisfy your sweet tooth in no time!

#11 Blaze Pizza

The first thing that struck me when I arrived was the location – right in the heart of Plantation. The atmosphere was inviting and it definitely had a hip vibe to it.

I ordered the “Pauly G” pizza with sausage, green peppers, and onions and I must say, it was delicious! The crust was light and crunchy, the sauce had just enough kick to it, and the toppings were cooked perfectly.

The service here was also great – my server was friendly and helpful. From start to finish my pizza took only about 10 minutes to make which is a plus for sure! Not only that, but the prices are very reasonable too.

All in all, I think Blaze Pizza is one of the best pizza places in Plantation FL. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in town!

#12 Luv’n Oven Ale House Sunrise

The crust is light and flaky, with a great taste that makes the pizza really stand out. The toppings are fresh and cooked to perfection, so you can relish in the flavor of each one. Plus, their selection of pizzas is expansive; there’s something for everyone!

The staff at Luv’n Oven Ale House Sunrise make the experience even better. They’re friendly and inviting, taking care to make sure that your meal is perfect. Not to mention their speedy delivery; even I couldn’t believe it!

All in all, I give Luv’n Oven Ale House Sunrise 5 stars for serving up some of the best pizza in Plantation FL. If you’re looking for a great night out with delicious food from a stellar staff, this place is definitely the spot to be!
